  • Scope of Services

Many midwives offer comprehensive packages that include prenatal visits, labor and delivery support, and postpartum care, which can affect the overall cost.

I wear many titles with pride — Wife, Mother, Lactation Specialist, Licensed Massage therapist (LIC#R03337), Student Midwife, and Author. But at the heart of it all, I’m simply someone who is devoted to women’s health, healing, and empowerment. My passion for nurturing others comes from a long line of generous souls — my mother, my grandparents, whose kindness and selflessness shaped who I am today. My grandfather devoted his life to serving his community, and my grandmother has always been the quiet backbone of our family, giving from the heart without hesitation. Their example taught me that true generosity is showing up for others with love and presence, and that principle runs through every part of my work. I’m a proud graduate of the Holistic Massage Training Institute, where I began my journey into bodywork and holistic healing. Over the years, I’ve specialized in prenatal, fertility, infant, and postpartum massage, helping women release physical tension and rediscover balance in their bodies. I also help many clients find relief from chronic neck and lower back pain, drawing on more than four years of therapeutic experience. In 2020, I founded a private practice specializing in pregnancy and postpartum manual therapy. Over the years of practice, I have helped over 300+ women relieve pain, improve mobility, and prepare for birth. My educational journey has included studies at Anne Arundel Community College and Western Governors University, and midwifery studies through the National College of Midwifery while apprenticing under several licensed midwives. I have attended over 50+ births in a mix of hospitals, home births, and birthing centers. My calling toward birth work was born of my own motherhood journey. My first childbirth experience showed me the power of a supportive birth team, but my second reminded me how deeply a lack of support can impact a woman. That moment became the turning point that led me to dedicate my life to women’s wellness — ensuring that every woman feels seen, supported, and cared for during one of life’s most transformative experiences. In 2022, I was honored to receive the Good Heart Award from The Shades of Blue Project during Black Maternal Health Week, recognizing my commitment to uplifting and caring for families in the birthing community. My work has also been featured in publications such as Motherly, Beauty Boost Baltimore, and Voyage Baltimore. Every client I serve, every birth I attend, and every family I serve is an extension of that same legacy of care that was passed down from my family. I’m here to create spaces where women feel safe, nurtured, and empowered to trust their bodies — because generosity, to me, is the act of helping others remember their own strength.

My Doula Medina was absolutely amazing. Such a genuine and down to earth person who also happens to be so full of knowledge and experience and such a great resource. She has such a calming presence and made my whole birthing experience so much less stressful. She goes out of her way to help you achieve the birth plan you hope for. The prenatal massage was also perfect, such an incredible bonus when you’re pregnant and exhausted. I can’t say enough good things and I recommend her to anyone planning a family!

I’m a birth and postpartum doula serving families throughout the Baltimore, DC, Southern Pennsylvania, and Southern Maryland areas. My work is rooted in one core belief: when a mother is deeply supported, nurtured, and cared for, she is better able to care for her baby and step into motherhood with confidence and grace. I specialize in supporting mothers through some of the most vulnerable and transformative seasons of life — including high-risk pregnancies, birth trauma, postpartum mood disorders, hyperemesis gravidarum (HG), chronic illness, pregnancy after loss, and complex postpartum recovery. My background in psychiatric rehabilitation counseling allows me to bring a unique understanding of emotional health, nervous system support, and compassionate care into the birth world. My approach is deeply intuitive, trauma-informed, and mother-centered. I believe birth is not just a medical event — it is a life-changing human experience that deserves respect, advocacy, emotional safety, and individualized support. Whether I’m supporting a laboring mother through transition, helping a postpartum mother heal after a cesarean, assisting with feeding challenges, or simply making sure a family feels seen and cared for, my goal is always the same: to “mother the mother.” I offer both birth and postpartum doula services, including overnight and daytime support, prenatal education, emotional support, recovery guidance, feeding support, and practical care for growing families. I am especially passionate about helping women trust themselves again after difficult experiences and creating spaces where mothers feel safe, empowered, and genuinely held. Beyond my work with clients, I’m passionate about maternal mental health advocacy, improving the birth experience for women, and creating honest conversations around motherhood, healing, and the realities of postpartum life. My work combines evidence-based education with warmth, intuition, humor, and deep compassion. At the heart of everything I do is the belief that mothers deserve quality care. ☀️Hey everyone!☀️ 💗My name is Yasmine. I am a certified birth and postpartum doula who’s also completed a birth/ midwives assistant training. 💌I became doula as my love for birth began as a child. I grew up in a large family and loved watching it grow with more babies. When I had my daughter, I was on Medicaid and wanted someone personal to help guide me through birth and labor. I did not know what a doula was exactly at that time. When I got pregnant with my son, I found myself being a doula for friends and mutual friends of mine virtually(due to Covid). It was not until my doula training that I learned Medicaid covers doulas. I then took the steps to become VA state certified and accept VA Medicaid. 🎯My goal is to provide quality, compassionate, empathetic, evidence based support to women who are more likely to get taken advantage of and neglected. As a woman of color, I know what it is like to feel dismissed and talked down to by the birth team/ healthcare system. I want to help you have the tools and confidence in your informed decisions. We absolutely love Yasmine! She was very helpful throughout my whole pregnancy. I could reach out to her at any time of the day about any concern or questions I had. From the first time we met we just clicked, She is so easy to talk to! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a Doula. She will also be one of the first people I reach out to if we are ever expecting a baby again!

I loved my experience with Alisha. From the start to the ending. Talking to her about the pregnancy use to bring me comfort. She gave me plenty of resources while pregnant and after I gave birth. During birth she was extra supportive. Even tho my birth plan did not go as plan she stuck by myself my whole c section and held my hand. 23 hours in labor she kept me calm bringing games and everything to keep my mind calm. I just overall appreciate her and if I ever had another baby I would want her as my doula again. 5 stars isn’t enough to rate her. She more like a million stars. Thank you so much for the experience and the comfort you bought through out the experience. And I appreciate you.

Hi, I’m Siedah Israel, a Certified Labor Doula, Holistic Wellness Practitioner, and Certified Herbalist based in Fredericksburg in Spotsylvania County, Virginia. I’m a wife of 15 years and a homeschooling mother of five. My wellness and birth advocacy journey began with earning a certificate in Massage Therapy from Eastern Virginia Career College in 2018. I later completed my Doula Certification through Germanna Community College in 2024 and graduated with honors in Herbal Studies from the American College of Healthcare Sciences in 2025. I am currently in Phase I of the PEP process as I work toward becoming a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM). I have extensive experience supporting families through hospital births, birth center births, and home births. Personally, I have experienced three hospital births and two home births, which deeply informs the care, perspective, and support I offer to the families I serve. When I’m not supporting families, I enjoy homeschooling, spending time outdoors with my children, writing poetry, working on my werewolf novel, and handcrafting natural hair and skincare products. It is a true honor to walk alongside families with compassion, cultural awareness, and grounded support during such a sacred season of life.

I truly do not know what I would have done without Siedah, and I believe I amucky to have found her for my second birth. As someone who has gone through a traumatic birth experience my first pregnancy, I knew I needed some additional support outside of my husband. But, let's talk about the process even before birth. Months before giving birth, Siedah reminded me and helped me re-process my trauma. Made me really think about how I wanted things to go this time around. To make me confident as well in asking questions about my care and babies care. I feel like that was a huge part in the success of my second birth experience. Fast forward to the actual birth, Siedah asked all the healthcare staff the right questions, or had them re-explain what was going on. I did have to be induced as I had pre-eclampsia. Everything went so smooth, it was exactly how I imagined it. Not to mention how fast it all went too! Siedah has such a big heart, and you can tell she truly cares about you; wants what is best for you too! She treats you like family, and reminds you to choose yourself which can be hard sometimes to remember when you're a mom. You won't regret having her by your side.

Morgan Bradbury

Packages from $1,500 · $40/hr

Hi, I’m Morgan, a birth doula with a deep passion for supporting women through the sacred and powerful journey of pregnancy and birth. Outside of birth work, you can often find me hiking, camping, traveling, walking my two corgis, reading, spending time with my husband and son, or serving my church and local community. My heart for women’s health began during my very first OB/GYN appointment as a teenager, when I had to navigate a complicated diagnosis and a series of confusing and often scary interactions with specialists. Years later, after facing complications during the birth of my son, my passion for informed care and patient advocacy only grew stronger. That experience not only taught me the importance of understanding my health and my options, but it also deepened my trust in the Lord. Through it all, my faith grew as I leaned into His strength during a season full of unknowns. Since then, I’ve become deeply committed to helping women feel informed, empowered, and supported throughout their reproductive journeys. My journey led me to work on a research team developing an intrauterine balloon stent to help treat Asherman’s Syndrome—a role that involved shadowing OB/GYNs and midwives and sparked a deeper appreciation for the science behind pregnancy and birth. I truly believe that birth is not only fascinating from a medical standpoint, but also incredibly beautiful and sacred. Today, I feel called to walk alongside women in their most vulnerable and transformative moments—offering education, advocacy, and unwavering support as they step into motherhood.

Are you feeling excited to meet your little one, but anxious about labor and unsure what to expect? Do you find yourself spending hours getting lost down internet rabbit holes researching pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum, but still lack confidence as your due date approaches? Trust me, I’ve been there! My journey to becoming a birth doula was born from my own experience with childbirth. In 2022, while living abroad, I gave birth to my son far from family and without much of a support system. I found myself scared and overwhelmed by the intensity of labor, longing for someone to guide and reassure me. That experience opened my eyes to the vital role emotional and physical support plays in childbirth, and it’s why I’m here—to offer the same kind of guidance and reassurance I longed for during my labor so you can enter those fragile early postpartum days feeling calm, empowered, and supported. I share a life filled with joy in Northern Virginia with my husband and our two children, who are the center of my heart and universe. Family is everything to me, and it’s because of them that I’m so passionate about helping others navigate the journey of birth. My life has taken me to many places, including three years spent living in Germany and eight months deployed to Afghanistan. These experiences taught me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of staying calm and grounded, especially in times of uncertainty – and I bring these lessons into my work as a doula. As your doula, my goal is to help you feel confident, empowered, and supported every step of the way. Whether you’re preparing for a hospital birth, home birth, or birth center, I will provide personalized, nurturing support that aligns with your goals. I’m here to help you navigate the unknowns and trust in your body’s ability to bring your baby into the world with strength and love. Motherhood is an indescribable gift, and I look forward to working together to nurture a birth experience that honors you, your choices, and your incredible journey.
