Hello! I’m the oldest of a big, loving family and have spent years as a nanny and babysitter for over 30 wonderful families. My journey to becoming a doula began after high school when a friend suggested midwifery. I’ve always had a passion for supporting women and babies, and once I dove into the fascinating world of birth, I was hooked! In 2023, I completed my doula certification to better understand the experiences of women during this incredible time and how I could best support them. Hello, I am Carmen Victoria, a local Doula in South Jersey. Originally from Havana, Cuba, but somewhere along the way ended up in Kingston, Jamaica. Over time, my education and family ended up in Florida. I came to Tallahassee and graduated twice from Florida A&M University, most recently with my Master of Public Health. My field of study and passion is Maternal and Infant Health. In 2022, I took a leap of faith and completed the Doula Workshop Training from Capital City Doula.
