Peace and blessings! My name is Xiomara, I am a mother of a beautiful girl. I am from the very small town of Pemberton, located in Southern New Jersey. I am certified full spectrum doula, (through Doula Trainings International), Reiki Master (mentor and trainer), and doula mentor. I became a doula because of my own birthing experience, which led me to wanting to help families by educating, advocating, and providing a safe space for a meaningful and purposeful birth. No birth is the same, no pregnancy is the same, however, by providing a safe space, and exceptional services, we can shift the narrative and heal the community one family at a time. Our mission at The Purple Purpose LLC is to inspire our clients to become the highest most healed versions of themselves, while embracing their journey, from the beginning until the end. We aim to bring forth a new way to assist families in maintaining their health and wellness. We want to bring a deeper level of healing that will allow personal and professional growth, but most importantly, a safe, successful, and purposeful birth .

I’m Nubia, a mom of five teens & young adults. I’m an experienced certified birth doula CD(DONA), postpartum doula, parent educator, certified breastfeeding counselor (CLC), an integrative nutrition health coach (IIN) and a student midwife. I’m a strong advocate for mothers and families birthing in all settings including hospital, home & birth centers. As well as, a calming presence in the birthing space. My journey supporting women and families began in 2000. After birthing with midwives, I decided to develop a working relationship at the birth center where my children were born. At this free-standing birth center, I served on the board of directors and led support groups for the expectant families and breastfeeding moms. In 2012, my career as a doula took off as I volunteered my services for many families in my hometown, Washington, DC. In 2015, my family relocated and I began serving a diverse population throughout New York and New Jersey where I’m currently practicing, along with a team of equally skilled perinatal professionals. On my spare time I enjoy relaxing on the Jersey Shore beaches, traveling internationally, cooking, dancing, spending time in nature, and enjoying quality time with my teenage and young adult children. I spent a couple of years living abroad and off the beaten path with my children and their dad. It was the most rewarding life experience to date. I plans to serve as a birthworker internationally, as well, so that I can merge my love for international travel and serving mothers.

Her passion for childbirth began in her birthing her four children within five years and learning the amazing power of the mind, soul, and body in physiologic birth and thereafter. Becoming a DONA trained Doula has given her the professional skills and resources to help other birthing people and their partner(s) awaken and tune into this power. As your Doula, she is honored to hold space for you and meet you where you are along your reproductive journey. She will provide emotional, informational, and physical support and hold your hand as you learn to advocate for your preferences in what is the most personal and sacred time in your life. By encouraging you to feel confident, fully supported, in control of your choices, and well equipped with the tools and comfort measures, her goal is to help you optimize any path your birth takes. She especially wants to do all she can to educate the community about the power of birth support, increase access to these evidence based services, and work with BBIPOC and trans and queer birthing people who often experience trauma and inequitable care along their gestational journey. As a Latinx Doula, she is a strong proponent of reclaiming and honoring the cultural roots of birthing communities and their traditional practices. Elizabeth is bilingual in Spanish.

I'm Chelsea, a mom of 2, Full Spectrum Doula & childbirth educator, who feels my purpose is to help make your birth dreams come true! For as long as I can remember I wanted to be in the world of birthwork. My favorite show as a child was "A baby story", a show that followed pregnant people through their journey and birth experience, and by the time I was a teenager I knew I wanted to become a midwife. After getting accepted to college I was enrolled in the midwifery program for over a year and on the way to making my dreams come true. Then, when I was 19, I unexpectedly got pregnant and everything came to a temporary halt while I spent time focusing on raising my son as a single mother and working. The birth of my son was an incredibly traumatic experience unfortunately, but inspired within me a new spark and an even bigger drive to make a difference, so I could try to prevent negative outcomes for other birthing people. Fast forward around 9 years and the idea of becoming a doula came to me. I decided to take the leap, applied for a scholarship with Birthing Advocacy doula trainings, and was awarded a full scholarship for my essay on why I felt called to become a doula! The training affirmed everything I felt about my passion for this work... I finally felt aligned with my purpose and couldn't wait to get started! Recently, with my 2nd pregnancy and the birth of my daughter just this past September, I experienced something incredible...Now that I am a doula myself, I was able to see the beauty of knowledge, power and healing come full circle. I gave birth on my own terms, my body and my wishes were respected and held with care, and my soul was healed as my daughter was born and I was reborn. Experiencing pregnancy and birth through new perspective this time was cathartic, eye-opening and truly life changing for me. My combined holistic and practical approach to birth comes from both my training as a doula and my time training in midwifery, and ensures that my clients have the best experience possible tailored specifically to their needs and wants. I take pride in spending quality time with each client in prenatal visits, to hold space for their wishes, and to go over every detail of their vision, crafting a thorough birth plan together. My ultimate goal is to make sure you feel empowered, advocated for, supported, safe and nurtured. I will dedicate myself to you, and be the shoulder to lean on, the listening ear and the hand to hold, throughout our entire journey together ❤️

My name is Sandra Remy and I am a childbirth educator, doula, peer breastfeeding counselor, social worker, and proud mother of 4! I enjoy pulling from all of these roles and utilizing them to support my work with expectant mothers and their families. I believe that birth is a sacred process and should be treated as such. I also believe that having the birth experience that you desire takes preparation and intentional planning which is why I am a strong advocate for childbirth education. Having knowledge of the process of birth places you in a better position to advocate for yourself, baby, and family. It further develops your self-confidence and your confidence in your innate ability to give birth, and this is key to curating the birth experience you desire. If you are seeking someone who will: see you, hear you, respect your intellect and intuition, while also being compassionate, patient, and supportive of you as you prepare to birth you baby, then I encourage you to get in contact with me.

I am a mother to a 5 year old and have loved children since I was a child myself. I have always been someone who enjoys helping people. I started on the path towards nursing, earning my Associate’s degree in Fall of 2022. After mostly completing my degree in summer of 2022, I realized my personality wouldn't shine in nursing. I am more empathetic and personable, which lead me to becoming a doula. I started with birth doula in August and it opened my eyes to my passion for birthwork. Shortly after, I took the postpartum doula workshop. That led me to also taking infant CPR, and earning a certified lactation support counselor as well. I am looking forward to sitting for the Lamaze CBE exam Fall of 2023. I have worked with families both prior to these certifications and currently and I can’t wait to explore and learn more
