I was trained through DONA International and am actively working towards birth and postpartum certification. I was certified as a lactation counselor by the ALPP after completing the Center for Breastfeeding course and passing the exam. My own experience becoming a mother ignited this calling in me, and it grew even stronger during my second pregnancy. This season can be transformative, overwhelming and beautiful all at once, and you do not have to go through it alone. As your doula, I will be a dedicated and compassionate support system, someone who not only respects you but also walks beside you like a trusted friend throughout your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey. I bring a calm presence, a good sense of humor, and a listening ear when you need it most. I am a hard worker who believes in your strength and am here to support you and your family every step of the way. When I am not supporting families, you can find me spending time with my amazing husband, children, family and friends, exercising, reading, meal prepping, hanging out with our chickens or gardening. I also happen to love spiders and have a new hobby that includes two jumping spiders and a tarantula - weird, maybe, but I love them and have always had a soft spot for exotic pets (and nature in general). I also have a Bachelors Degree in Interior Design from RIT, and spent the previous ~12 years working in the field until the birth of my second baby. I love seeing women empowered through this incredible experience and I would be honored to be a part of your team. I serve the Rochester, NY area hospitals and provide postpartum support to those within 25 minutes from my home in Hilton, NY. I truly look forward to working with you!

It began in 2003 when I became certified with DONA International. Since then, I’ve had the immense privilege of witnessing countless births, each one a unique and awe-inspiring miracle. Whether at home or in the hospital, I’ve been by families’ sides, offering support and encouragement every step of the way. But my passion for all things birth goes even deeper. In 2004, I became a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator, and in 2008, a Certified Lactation Educator and Counselor. And in 2007, I experienced the profound joy of giving birth to my own beautiful daughter, supported by two incredible doulas who showed me the true meaning of strength and compassion. I believe with all my heart that every woman—every birthing person—holds an incredible power within. Pregnancy and birth are normal, natural processes, and when we understand our innate abilities, we can embrace these experiences with confidence and joy. Over the years, I’ve been honored to support families through first, second, and third births; natural and medicated births; and those tender early postpartum days when breastfeeding journeys begin.
