Hi there! I'm a birth doula and Hypnobabies instructor serving clients throughout Salt Lake and Utah counties. I caught the birth bug during my first pregnancy in 2009, and decided after my second birth in 2013 that I wanted to become a doula. I'm passionate about bodily autonomy, informed consent, prenatal education, evidence-based practices, and maternal mental health. I love supporting families during the most memorable times of their lives. I'm told I have a calming presence, and I'm passionate about supporting partners as they support you.

Pregnancy, birth, and babies...I love it all! I see the birth process as a huge opportunity for growth and healing. This is an opportunity for the birthing person to communicate with their body and find their own intuitive & unique way of birthing. Massage during labor can be so helpful and amazing and I love capturing the sweet moments between a couple and meeting your baby! Being involved in birth work has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember! I graduated from Utah Valley University with a degree in Social work where I found joy in listening, and empowering people. Soon after graduating I gave birth to my first daughter and it reignited my passion for birth and desire to want all mamas to have a positive experience during childbirth. After the birth of my second child, I found myself struggling with postpartum depression. Even though I had a good support system, there were many factors at play that left me feeling depressed, anxious, and like I wasn't a good mom.  Thankfully, I was able to receive appropriate care and I was soon feeling better! I felt so incredibly loved and held as I did the work to recover. Because of the wonderful support I experienced from the birth and postpartum world, I decided to transition from my former career of 16 years as a veterinary technician. I am currently in the process of becoming certified as a postpartum doula through CAPPA and I am so excited to continue supporting the new families in my community!
