Hi everyone, my name is Nancy and I am a Postpartum Doula, New Parent Educator, and Perinatal Mental Health Specialist. We have a team of providers at Anamav Postnatal Care who offer various services across the Greater Toronto Area (including Peel, York, Durham and Simcoe) as well as virtually. Our team includes postpartum doulas, lactation consultants, and sleep consultants and we also have strong referral networks with other types of providers. I started Anamav due to my own mental health challenges after having my first child, and now it is my absolute honour to support so many families during this significant time in their lives. I'm the founder of Pocket Doula and I support emerging birthworkers in radicalizing their practice through heart-centered mentorships, facilitations, and community organizing. My practice is housed under the decolonization of birthwork and transformative queer care. My deepest joys come from witnessing our communities thrive through community care, mutual aid, and abolition work.
