Being a Doula has brought much fulfillment into Jennifer’s life. As a Birth Worker, she enjoys being able to be a source of comfort and guidance for families. Seventeen years ago, she decided to become a birth & postpartum doula after working closely for years with her own grandmother, who was a midwife. It gave her the confidence and strength to pursue birth work. Her role as a birth worker allows her to provide the support parents and babies need in order to ease the transition into the amazing life of parenthood.  She is bilingual (English/Spanish) and is currently learning ASL. Hello, I am Carmen Victoria, a local Doula in South Jersey. Originally from Havana, Cuba, but somewhere along the way ended up in Kingston, Jamaica. Over time, my education and family ended up in Florida. I came to Tallahassee and graduated twice from Florida A&M University, most recently with my Master of Public Health. My field of study and passion is Maternal and Infant Health. In 2022, I took a leap of faith and completed the Doula Workshop Training from Capital City Doula.
