The cost of a night nanny in Zephyr, ON can be influenced by several factors:

  • Experience and Qualifications

Nannies with extensive experience, certifications (e.g., newborn care specialist), or specific training often charge higher rates.

  • Number of Babies

Caring for twins or multiples typically costs more than caring for a single baby due to the increased workload.

  • Hours and Duration

Rates may vary depending on the number of hours per night, the total number of nights required, and whether the arrangement is short-term or long-term.

  • Duties and Responsibilities

Additional responsibilities, such as bottle preparation, light housekeeping, or sleep training, can increase the cost.

  • Time of Year

Demand during peak times, like the holiday season, may drive prices higher.

  • Agency Fees

Hiring through an agency often includes placement fees or additional charges for their services, adding to the overall cost.

  • Overnight Rates vs. Hourly Rates

Some nannies charge a flat overnight rate, while others charge hourly, which can influence costs depending on the length of the shift.

When considering hiring a night nanny in Zephyr, ON, it's advisable to research and interview several night nannies to find one who aligns with your preferences, needs, and budget. During consultations, you can discuss their specific services and pricing structure to ensure you have a clear understanding of what is included and the associated costs. This process will help you find a night nanny who meets your needs and fits within your budget.

Hi, I’m Emma, your local birth bestie and birth aficionado! I’m a DONA trained doula based out of Toronto, ON looking to support families throughout their birth journey. My goal is to provide amazing care to each client, tailored to their specific needs. Ever since I was young, I have been passionate about supporting families. Inspired by my childhood dreams of being a early childhood educator, an OBGYN and later a midwife, I have always felt a strong pull towards family care and birth work. In my community, I started by becoming the favourite neighborhood babysitter, then in University I became a loving part time nanny, then moved on to work as a manager of a children’s swim school for several years. Alongside my passion for birth support, I have a deep appreciation for art and creativity. I spent three years working at an art gallery and went on to get my Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree in Painting. Even then, my dream of caring for families never left me, with my passions leading me to run impromptu prenatal education sessions during lunch breaks at work. In May of 2024 I made the exciting decision to take a step back from my art career and focus full time on becoming a doula. Now, I am dedicated to being the best “birth bestie” I can be for my clients by proving them with compassionate care, encouragement, and unwavering support every step of the way.

Words can’t fully express how grateful we are to have had Doris as our birth doula. From the very beginning, she brought such a calming, grounded, and nurturing energy into our journey. She took the time to truly get to know us—our fears, hopes, and birth preferences—and made us feel completely supported and empowered every step of the way. During labor, Doris was an absolute rock. She created a peaceful environment, gently guided me through each contraction, and helped my partner feel confident and involved. Her presence was intuitive and comforting—knowing just when to offer words of encouragement, grounding touch, or simply hold space. She honored our birth plan while remaining flexible and wise when things needed to shift. What stood out most was how she held space not just for the physical birth, but for the emotional and spiritual process too. Her care felt ancestral, like something deep and sacred was being honored. Postpartum, she checked in with such genuine care, offering wisdom, warmth, and reassurance when we needed it most. If you’re looking for a doula who is deeply attuned, knowledgeable, and truly walks beside you in love and respect—Doris is it. She made our birth experience not only beautiful, but transformational

Jen was our doula for the birth of our first child in April 2026. We had a wonderful experience with her throughout. She has a very relaxed, reassuring energy. Mama Bear is the perfect way to describe her vibe! Our first 2 meetings were great and she had information about everything we asked (and more!) She also sent follow up emails with lots of resources for us to look through after our initial sessions. In the final weeks leading up to the birth, she was very communicative and checked in frequently. She was very reassuring when I was having concerns and fears, and she really helped me to manage the anxiety I was feeling about childbirth. Jen also helped walk us through making an informed consent document (birth plan), but also supported us when we decided on something different in the moment while I was in labour. During early labour, she came to our home and helped support both my husband and I with various positions, counter pressure, pain management, and decision making. She accompanied us to the hospital, helped us settle in, and came back after I had rested for several hours. She arrived before the birth and was a strong advocate for me with the midwives and hospital staff, and it took a lot of pressure off of my husband (who was already doing so much to help). It was so helpful to have someone who was familiar with the birthing process and hospital by our side for support. Jen's postpartum visit was so lovely! Seeing her again in a relaxed way after such intensity was really special. She held the baby and gave us some tips and advice on what to expect in the coming weeks. I expect we will ask her for some extra post-partum visits once my husband is back at work. What an amazing woman to have involved with our baby's life. We are so lucky to have found her. We would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for doula support. Thank you, Jen!

Hi there, my name is Emily. I’m a certified postpartum doula, DONA-educated birth doula, and pre- and postnatal yoga instructor in Toronto, dedicated to helping mothers, mothers-to-be, and families find connection, calm, and confidence in their bodies and daily lives. I come to this work from a lifelong love of movement and a deep appreciation for the beauty and transformation of early motherhood. My role is to help you feel informed, cared for, and supported as you prepare to welcome your baby and adjust to life together. I’m Amanda :) I’m a Newborn Care Specialist and Postpartum Doula with 20 years of experience as a caregiver supporting families and caring for children from the newborn stage through early childhood (and beyond). I bring a warm, calm, and intuitive approach to helping babies—and parents—feel cared for, supported, and loved. I loved completing my training to become a Postpartum Doula and Newborn Care Specialist, deepening my skills in newborn sleep, feeding, recovery support, multiples care and gentle nighttime routines. Families often describe me as a “baby whisperer” and “real-life Mary Poppins.” I have a background in teaching, psychology, and Master Life Coaching, with studies in child development, attachment, trauma-informed care, and emotional regulation—all of which guide my responsive, heart-centered approach. I’m Infant/Child/Adult CPR certified and experienced in supporting healthy sleep routines, emotional attunement, and nurturing environments. My care style is gentle, playful, and grounded in child-centred connection. Whether I’m feeding, burping & soothing a newborn, playing with a toddler (helping soothe tantrums or find ease & connection in transitions), or helping parents find more play or rest in parenting, I bring compassion and genuine love for the work I do & the families I get to care for. When I’m not with little ones, I also support parents and children as a Play-Based Healer and Family Coach, helping families navigate big emotions, communication, and connection. If you’re looking for calm, caring daytime infant/postpartum care or nighttime support for your baby (or babies!), I’d love to be part of your family’s journey. 💜 Supporting families in these early days & being part of your family's care team is truly an honour. I look forward to getting to know you & your little one(s)! :)

I cannot recommend Isabel Nantaba enough as a birth and postpartum doula. From the moment we met her, she brought a sense of calm, confidence, and compassion that immediately put me at ease. During labor, Isabel provided unwavering support, intuitive guidance, and gentle encouragement, helping me feel empowered and informed every step of the way. Isabel’s approach is both professional and deeply caring. She truly listens, adapts to your needs, and creates a nurturing environment for you and your family. There are no words to describe the unbelievable value and knowledge that Emily brought through my entire pregnancy, birth and postpartum. I always knew I wanted to have a doula especially at birth, but I didn’t realize the important role Emily would play. She educates you throughout pregnancy and provides you with a range of resources. You learn about what is happening during your body at the time as well as birth itself and your choices during labour. My birth was not the way I had imagined it would go. But having the knowledge and being able to advocate for myself in what I wanted at the time allowed me to have an empowering birth no matter the outcome. Emily was the one who made sure we knew our choices every step of the way. I had never felt so prepared or confident for what I was predicting to be a HUGE challenge. Having a doula is literally like having a passionate best friend, who you can count on at any time and who is a constant wealth of knowledge! Emily especially, is a warm, positive, compassionate and unbelievably supportive human. She makes you feel comfortable in your most vulnerable moments. My husband really enjoyed working with her and the encouragement of labour techniques that they tag teamed during labour. He kept saying, “I couldn’t have done it without Emily”, as she was there the entire longggg labour. Another amazing benefit Emily has provided us with is that after birth she will answer any phone call or text with questions, which is so appreciated when you're sleep deprived and have no clue how to care for a new baby. She is especially knowledgeable with breastfeeding, helping our baby get the perfect latch! I hope we are able to conceive again one day and have Emily with us every step of the way! She truly is the positive light everyone should have during the most vulnerable times!

Schevon Sandy-Mitchell

As a mother of twin girls, she knows firsthand that parenting can be both beautiful and overwhelming. She also knows the difference it makes when people show up with practical support, encouragement, and care that lightens the load. Those experiences inspired her journey into postpartum work and continue to shape the way she serves families today. Schevon brings a calming presence, a listening ear, and a genuine love for caring for others. Whether she's preparing a nourishing meal influenced by her Trinidadian roots, tidying up while you rest, holding space for the emotions that often come with new parenthood, or simply reminding you that you're doing better than you think, her goal is always the same: to help you feel supported and seen. Grounded by faith, gratitude, and a deep belief in the power of community, Schevon approaches postpartum care with compassion and intention. For families who welcome it, she's happy to offer prayer or words of encouragement, but above all, she wants every parent to feel cared for, strengthened, and never alone. Her hope is that when she leaves your home, you've been able to take a deep breath, get some rest, enjoy a good meal, and feel just a little more like yourself again.

I will always recommend Shev to anyone looking for delicious, well-prepared meals. With Nourish, you are not simply being provided a meal, you are being cared for with intention and ease!

Hi there! My journey as a birth and postpartum doula began with a simple yet powerful realization: too many families face parenthood weighed down by fear, doubt, and isolation. My work is about helping you build confidence, trust your instincts, and embrace the beautiful, imperfect journey of parenthood with peace and strength. From the very first flutter of possibility through the tender, tiring, beautiful early days of parenthood, my team and I aim to be the bridge that helps families feel supported, informed, and empowered. My approach to birth blends practical knowledge with heartfelt care—nurturing nutrition, mindset preparation, and gentle body movement—so every family feels ready, capable, and never alone. When I'm not serving as a doula, you'll find me nose-deep in a book, wandering through nature, or soaking up time with my own family—the very thing that inspired this work in the first place.

Fiona was absolutely amazing! She prepared us so much for postpartum that we had minor issues. During my labour she was the reason I felt supported enough for my husband to deliver our baby, she also did prep with him beforehand and everyone was raving about how well he did! We had a beautiful experience, she made me feel so safe. I couldn’t have gotten through my labour so well without her. I had an absolutely beautiful stress free home birth with her. We will definitely be booking her for the next 😅☺️

Hi, I’m Tisa. I am a certified labour and Postpartum Doula and proud mom of six beautiful children. I consider myself to be a compassionate person who strives to help you and your family navigate this new exciting chapter of your lives. I strongly believe it is my mission to help you have not only a positive postpartum journey but to help better assist and equip you with all the right tools for success. My passion for birth work began 20 years ago after the birth of my eldest son. Due to a series of events that could have very well crippled me only made me stronger. I was very fortunate to find access to many great regional programs and I met someone who not only poured wisdom into me at a young age but believed I could do great things in this field of work. I will never let my birth trauma define me, rather it has shaped me into who I am today. I am dedicated to providing assistance, support and spreading the message that you are not alone. My role as your doula is to provide continuous emotional, physical, and informational support. I am committed to empowering you to make informed decisions. The Postpartum stage isn't a race, it's about picking up the little pieces we may lose along the way. When I am not attending a birth or working overnight postpartum shifts, you can most likely find me in the comfort of my home surrounded by my family. My house is filled with laughter, playful banter, persistent chirps from my Lovebirds and Conure, yapping can be heard from the family Pomeranian; Mochi. I enjoy worship nights held by my church, reading webtoons, soaking up k-dramas and building miniature wooden puzzles and book-nooks.
