When I first started in the business of helping people I worked as an alcohol and drug counselor at a residential treatment facility. I worked with and guided people from very diverse backgrounds. That work has directly applied to my ability to effectively communicate with and support others. After my time as a counselor I co-founded and currently co-own a personal training business that specializes in training folks who are pregnant and postpartum. When I gave birth to my children I was able to do 6 of them unmedicated and all were delivered vaginally with no significant damage to my lady parts. All a testament to good education, faith, and great, knowledgeable caregivers. I would love to work with clients who are seeking this kind of birth. However, my passion and calling is to help parents to have the birth they are desiring, and to support them in their journey no matter the method; whether vaginal, unmedicated, epidural, C-section(planned or emergency), hospital, birth center, or at home.
