Hello there! My name is Henriette Dyer, and I am the owner and founder of Wee Beginnings LLC, residing in Los Angeles, CA. With over 35 years of experience in childcare, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to supporting families. I specialize as a Newborn Care Specialist, Certified Postpartum Doula (not a birth doula), Certified Lactation Educator, Certified Sleep Coach, and Certified Infant Sleep Consultant. My background also includes extensive experience as an infant/toddler teacher, pre-kindergarten teacher, and parent & child play instructor, all dedicated to helping families raise healthy and happy children. In my role as a Newborn Care Specialist, my focus extends beyond simply helping parents achieve much-needed sleep. I also work to alleviate the stress and frustration often associated with caring for a newborn, positioning myself as a crucial part of your support team. Establishing a stable support system is incredibly vital during the postpartum period when the baby comes home. In my free time i enjoy travelling to new places, writing, cooking and hiking. I would be delighted to discuss how my services and experience can provide valuable support to your family or organization. Please feel free to reach out to schedule a time to connect. Best regards, Henriette Dyer

Henriette was a fantastic resource/night nurse for our second son. She worked with us for over a month and I trusted her completely. She was also great with our toddler. Highly recommend.

With years of experience as a midwife and birth professional, I support families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum with a holistic, grounded approach that honors both physiology and personal choice. Whether you are planning a home birth, hospital birth, birth center delivery, medicated or unmedicated experience, my role is to help you feel fully prepared — physically, emotionally, and mentally — for the birth you desire. My pregnancy bodywork sessions are designed to support optimal fetal positioning, pelvic balance, and nervous system regulation. When the body is aligned and tension patterns are released, babies can settle into ideal positions and labor often unfolds more smoothly. A regulated nervous system allows you to feel safer, more present, and more empowered — which can significantly impact both birth and postpartum recovery. In addition to hands-on bodywork, I offer comprehensive childbirth education that prepares you for the realities of labor, informed decision-making, partner support, and postpartum recovery. My goal is not to push a specific birth path, but to equip you with knowledge, confidence, and tools so you can navigate your experience feeling supported and in control. I bring both clinical insight and steady presence. I understand the nuances of hospital systems and home birth environments, and I help families advocate for themselves while staying connected to their intuition. Birth is a rite of passage — and preparation matters. When your body is balanced, your nervous system is regulated, and your mind is informed, you enter birth grounded and ready. It is an honor to walk alongside families as they prepare to welcome their babies and step into parenthood with confidence.

Hi, I’m Samantha! I’m a certified postpartum doula and newborn care specialist supporting families throughout Southern California. My approach is warm, hands-on, and education-focused. I’m there to care for your baby, of course, but just as importantly, to make sure you feel supported, rested, informed, and more confident in your own instincts as you settle into life with a newborn. I have experience supporting newborns, twins, first-time parents, and growing families, and I tailor my care to what each household actually needs. That may look like overnight newborn care, feeding and sleep support, detailed newborn logs, postpartum recovery support, helping partners feel more involved, or simply being the calm, knowledgeable person in the room when everything feels new. My goal is never to take over your family’s experience—it’s to make the transition smoother and leave you feeling more capable than when I arrived.

I truly can’t say enough good things about Sam. Those first weeks with newborn twins were intense, and she brought so much calm and structure into our home. She kept detailed notes every night on each baby’s feeds, diapers, sleep, and anything she noticed, and before pediatrician appointments she helped us organize what was actually worth mentioning or asking about. She cared for me and my husband in ways I honestly didn’t expect either. She did foot soaks, gave me massages, and would even comb and braid my hair when I was too exhausted to think about taking care of myself. She made sure he ate, got fresh air, and felt appreciated too. Those little things made us feel human again. One of my favorite things about her was how intentional she was with our older son. He was struggling with suddenly having two new babies in the house, and Sam never treated him like he was being difficult. She created little opportunities for him to bond with his brothers, gave him special jobs, and made him feel like he had a mission. You could actually see him becoming proud of his role as their big brother. I miss her all the time. We still have a photo of all of us with Sam on our refrigerator, and I think that says everything. She became such a special part of our family during a season we will never forget.

Welcome! My name is Rose, and I'm a certified birth doula. I will accompany you in your pregnancy, labor and postpartum journey. I provide assistance during pregnancy and labor by giving parents the necessary information they need to make informed decisions about their care. I provide newborn assistance, information on childbirth education, breastfeeding, lactation and postpartum support. As a community doula I believe in healing the body. The reason many women do not heal during postpartum is because there are still many toxins trapped in their bodies that prevent them from healing. I work with mothers at whatever stage of emotional and physical support they need and provide them with the resources they need to feel empowered throughout this journey. I believe in holistic healing, ayurveda, essential oils, aromatherapy & yoga. I have lived in Taiwan and South Korea and have learned about traditional healing methods. My experience includes working with women from all walks of life and cultural backgrounds. This includes women who have experienced pregnancy loss, abortions, trauma and high-risk IVF procedures. I also speak Spanish and work with the Spanish speaking community. I hold a Master's Degree in Education and a Certified Birth Doula certification. I really enjoy teaching couples and enhancing their knowledge about pregnancy & labor. Unlike other doulas, I bring a strong background in healthcare working in acute hospitals in the nursing department. Although I am not a nurse, my background includes ER, ICU, medicine & surgery, mental health, rehabilitation, post rehab and sub-acute units. I am also trained as a medication technician which allows me to understand the different types of medications that are given to patients in hospitals. I've worked in a variety of hospital settings and have the necessary experience to deliver bedside nursing skills. I accept several forms of insurance across California. Contact me today!

Annie is so great, thoughtful and resourceful! She is knowledgeable in her field and any question I had that she didn't have the answer to, she was willing to look into it! When it came time to deliver, she remained calm and helped me focus on my breathing. We got to the hospital when I was already 9 centimeters. Annie talked through the things the doctors were telling me and my husband. I could feel confident after that. Now that baby is home, Annie has kept up with us, always checking in, and willing to come visit. I also appreciate her personal training background. Once I'm cleared for exercise, I'm looking forward to Annie's assistance into getting back in shape. Thank you Annie for all that you are!

I believe with every conviction that mothers hold innate wisdom to birth their babies. , I honor your intuition through holistic care and embodied practice—supporting you through pregnancy, birth, and the sacred postpartum transition. As your Sister in Christ, I offer faith-based birth support for those wanting so. We approach your labor as an act of worship—leaning on prayer and rejoicing to reveal God's strength and love for you. I am a community-first birthworker, passionate about making holistic wellness, coaching, and education accessible to women in my community. My work blends embodied childbirth education and hands-on support across pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. As a Birthing From Within–trained mentor, I offer education that goes far beyond information—our work honors the inner journey, emotional landscape, and transformation that birth invites. Alongside this, I provide holistic, nurturing care including herbal remedies, gentle bodywork, mindful movement, breathwork, and food as medicine—supporting the body’s natural physiology while tending to the nervous system and spirit. My Philosophy: Honoring the MotherBaby Dyad I intimately understand and uphold the crucial MotherBaby bond and believe in family-oriented care that follows natural instincts. This belief shapes every facet of my postpartum support and education: Attachment Parenting: I educate and support families in honoring bonding practices such as exclusive breastfeeding, safe bed-sharing/co-sleeping, elimination communication, and babywearing. Holistic Recovery: I offer nourishing, restorative care in the first 40 days, drawing from my training as a Postpartum Practitioner mentored by Pilar Chandler, Doctor of Ayurveda for Women’s Health. Lactation Philosophy: The Power of Human Milk I am deeply committed to the evidence supporting human milk as the optimal standard for infant nutrition. While I support all feeding choices with heart, my philosophy is rooted in the conviction that exclusive breastfeeding provides unparalleled protection and nourishment. This is not just "good"; scientific consensus confirms that breast is best for both maternal and infant health outcomes.

I am a postpartum doula dedicated to supporting families as they welcome their newest little one. My passion for this work grew from a deep belief that parents deserve just as much care and nurturing as their babies. Whether you’re recovering from birth, navigating the early days of parenthood, or adjusting to life with a newly adopted baby, my goal is to create a calm, supportive environment where you feel rested, confident, and cared for. I offer a blend of emotional support, practical guidance, and hands-on help tailored to your family’s unique needs. As a mom of two young boys, I understand firsthand the joys and challenges that come with welcoming a baby. Those early days can be beautiful, exhausting, and everything in between — and it’s what inspired me to walk alongside other families during this precious season. It’s an honor to support parents as they grow their families, and I’d be honored to support yours.

I wasn’t sure what the balance of welcoming our second child would bring but I’m glad Kim was able to offer support through the adjustment. Kim provided much needed hands on help during the newborn phase and early postpartum period which helped me feel confident and better adjusted early on. She has a gentle and calm approach to supporting both mom and baby. I also appreciated her guidance and knowledge in navigating breastfeeding. I am grateful to Kim for her patience, support, and presence during this important transition for myself and my family.

After feeling dismissed and intimidated into making decisions against my better judgment during my first birth, I knew I wanted a different experience the second time and specifically sought out advocacy--hiring Britt as my doula was one of the best decisions I made. From the beginning, she was incredibly relatable and easy to talk to, taking the time to truly understand my preferences, concerns, and goals. Her background as a former high-risk RN, combined with her doula training, gave me so much confidence. She explained things clearly, helped me make informed decisions, and always made sure I felt heard and respected. No matter what questions or worries I had, she met them with patience and reassurance. Even though my birth didn't go as planned and ended in an unplanned C-section, Britt's support never wavered. She was a steady, calming presence throughout and helped me feel empowered and cared for every step of the way. I'm so grateful for her support and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly supportive doula. During such a vulnerable time where appointments can feel impersonal and too "routine", it was such a blessing to feel/know that someone really genuinely cared about me, my pregnancy and by baby!

Hi there! Thank you so much for visiting my site and for your interest in my services. I would love to give you a little info about me so you can better understand who I am and how I can help you along your journey in parenthood. My name is Janee and I live in Cypress with my husband, Jake and our 4 daughters. After the birth of my first daughter, I realized how underprepared I was for labor. I looked back on my experience unhappy with the things that were ‘done to me,’ rather than being able to make educated decisions based on evidence and my maternal instincts. During my second pregnancy, I knew I wanted to be more prepared and have a completely different birth experience. I did a lot of research on evidence-based practices and created an ideal vision for what I wanted this next birth to look like. After my dream birth, I immediately felt justified for wanting more for myself AND my baby. I had a newfound sense of empowerment as a mother. Ever since, I knew I wanted to be a part of this amazing birth community to help other families feel this same joy. My goal is to provide gentle education, encouragement, and support in whichever ways you need it, while tending to your family’s unique needs during this beautiful time in your life. I am a trained Doula through DONA International. I also have extensive training in childbirth education and breastfeeding support. I welcome all inquiries. Please use my Contact page to send me a message about what you’re looking for and how I can help you. I look forward to speaking with you!

As a first-time dad, I wasn’t totally sure what a doula did—I just knew I wanted my wife to feel supported during labor. What I didn’t expect was how much I would benefit from having her there, too. From the moment we hired Janée, she made both of us feel informed, confident, and ready. She took the time to educate us on the stages of labor, comfort techniques, and what to expect in the hospital. By the time my wife went into labor, I actually felt prepared instead of overwhelmed. During the birth, she was absolutely incredible. She supported my wife emotionally and physically, but she also guided me on how to support her better—whether it was suggesting positions, showing me how to apply counter-pressure, or reassuring me when things got intense. I never once felt useless or in the way. Instead, I felt like an active part of the process, which meant everything to me. She created a calm, encouraging atmosphere the entire time. Anytime we had questions, she explained things clearly and helped us feel comfortable with the decisions we were making. Her presence took so much stress off both of us, allowing me to focus on my wife and stay grounded. Looking back, hiring Janée was one of the best decisions we made. She didn’t just support my wife—she empowered me as a husband and new father. If you’re on the fence, especially as a dad, take it from me: a good doula is worth every bit of it. She made our birth experience something we’ll be grateful for forever.
