I am Drea Kelly, the founder of River Wild Doula Services, and I am so happy you're here! I'd love to share a bit of my story in hopes of someday hearing some of yours. ​ It has been my joy and privilege to partner with families as a doula for the past 18 years, serving them as they make some of the biggest transitions in life. I have always known I was called to this work... to hold space in the sacred, in-between places where we are transformed by the rivers running wild through us. It is such an honor to be invited onto this holy ground. ​ I believe parents have innate wisdom and intuition that can and should be trusted as they navigate the myriad of decisions in the childbearing year and beyond. As your doula I am here to be your guide and coach through those decisions, while providing the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual support you need along the way. I started River Wild with the prayer that families would be able to access the kind of care that empowered them to birth their way and raise their families with confidence. ​ I live in Cedar Park, Texas with my incredible husband who stays home with our three delicious kiddos full-time. Family hikes, cozy evenings and a good card game are just a few of our favorite things. I am great at what I do and tailor the experience to meet your needs. I am able to provide expert infant care while establishing safe and healthy sleep habits. I also offer guidance, education, emotional support, and general help filling the many needs that arise while adjusting to a newborn. There is no need too big or task too small for me to tackle or help you navigate. I entered this niche of child care due to my love for babies. My name is Meghan Boudreau - Doula and Placenta Encapsulation specialist with River Wild. I am so honored to be a part of this amazing community and am looking forward to serving you! ​ I live in Leander, TX with my amazing husband Colten, and our three wildly, wonderful children. On any given day, you will find our home full of giggles, singing, dance parties, coffee aromas, and home cooked meals - just the way we like it. If you ask my children what I do, they will tell you I “help mamas get the babies out”. Bless. ​ I was submerged into the birth world at a very young age, witnessing home births and having a deep relationship with our family midwife. Labor, placentas, and babies were very normalized topics in our house. I had the honor of witnessing and assisting at my own mother's home births, and thus, my passion and desire to serve expecting mamas was born! ​ I believe birth should always be navigated with women at the helm. I believe every woman has the freedom and maternal instinct to move, dance, laugh, cry, or roar as she finds her own unique path through labor. Hi! I'm Lacey Dowlearn! I am a Birth Boot Camp certified Childbirth Educator and Certified Birth Doula serving Round Rock families. My journey in birth work began in 2007 with the first pregancy in my group of friends. She had mentioned wanting a midwife and I started researching. I had caught the birth bug and was hooked! The idea of women helping women made my heart happy. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to be an apprentice midwife at several freestanding birth centers; labor support for homebirth, birth center and hospital clients in Round Rock and surrounding areas and have recently certified as a CBE and Doula with Birth Boot Camp. I've been married to my partner, Danny, since April 2008. He has supported me through this journey and is a great partner. I am a mom to two beautiful little girls, Annie and Jane. Both of my births took place in my home accompanied by a midwife, my very first midwifery preceptor. I breastfed both of my babies for 2 years, tandem for 6 months. That was such a wonderful and bonding experience. I want to provide the best care to each mother who trusts me with her birth experience, whether that be in hospital or at home. I believe that having a positive birth experience is the right of every woman. I will strive to help each mother and baby have a special delivery.

Amelia is a DONA trained birth doula (2019) from Minnesota. She holds a BA in Global Studies with emphasis on South American studies and Global Public Health. Birthwork found her when she was working on a research project about women giving birth in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria. Following her project, she immediately got trained as a birth doula and hit the ground running. She was a volunteer doula for the first part of her doula career while simultaneously working as a health educator in non-profit clinics in both Minneapolis and Austin. Amelia eventually adhered to her calling and shifted to working in birthwork full time. For Amelia, birth is a sacred and ceremonial part of life. She is passionate about advocating for families and following their lead as they go through this transformational experience. Amelia enjoys incorporating essential oils, movement, meditation, mantra, and light touches of humor into her work. Outside of birthwork you might find Amelia teaching yoga, travelling, hanging with her cats, or hiking with her partner.
