Noa is THE BEST. My husband and I met her a couple of weeks postpartum when she appeared at our doorstep at 10p sharp as our overnight doula so we could sleep. Not only did Noa take excellent, loving care of our daughter and leave our house *spotless* in the morning (dishes, bottles, tidying, pump parts, laundry -- you name it, she did it), but she quickly became a wonderful friend and confidant. She brought joy, calm, and laughter into our house during a time that could be so emotionally fraught, and, boy, did we appreciate her for it. We had so much fun! What a far cry from my first postpartum experience, where we had no support and white-knuckled our way through. I know Noa is no longer doing overnight postpartum care, but I am confident that Noa brings the same energy, thoughtfulness, care, and diligence (and good humor) to labor. It's who she is. We actually first met Noa when she taught our labor class, and it was clear during the day-long course that she would be an amazing labor doula. Not only does Noa know her stuff, but she connects with moms and partners to empower them and help them accomplish the labor experience they want. If we were to have another baby, I would 1000% want Noa by my side during delivery.

Can’t recommend Alex and Noa at Woven Womb enough. Noa did our birth prep classes and Alex was our birth doula on the big day. I’m just so grateful to these ladies. We will 100% be reaching out to them for our next child! We had pre-natal home visits, birth classes, and social hangouts with other couples (my wife still talks with some of the other moms), plus birth plan prep. We really got a lot out of it and felt informed and prepared for baby’s arrival. When my wife went into labor at Scripps, Alex showed up big, helping manage pain, knowing exactly what to say, and also helping me become a better advocate for my wife. At one especially confusing moment at the hospital, she helped demystify what was happening and kept us focused on what mattered: a positive birth experience. If you’re looking for a birth doula in North County, we can’t recommend Alex and Woven Womb enough.

I had such a wonderful experience working with Noa at Woven Womb. As a first-time mom, I realized I felt pretty uninformed when it came to making decisions about my birth preferences. I knew I needed to have a birth plan ready, but wasn’t sure where to begin or what questions I should even be asking. I connected with Woven Womb virtually since I live outside of the San Diego area, and my hour-long conversation with Noa was exactly what I needed. She walked me through the birth process from start to finish, including the birth environment, pain management, the immediate postpartum period, and options for both mom and baby. I loved that she prepared me not only for what I might ideally hope for, but also for different scenarios that could come up during labor. She helped me understand my options and the considerations behind them without ever making me feel like there was a “right” choice. Noa is incredibly knowledgeable, but what stood out most was how warm, calm, and comforting she was. I never felt judged for asking questions or for having certain preferences. She provided thoughtful, evidence-informed guidance while remaining respectful of my decisions. Noa never pushed for something other than what I wanted. I left our conversation feeling so much more confident and prepared. I now have a birth plan I feel comfortable sharing with my doctors, along with daily breathwork practices to help me prepare for labor. I would absolutely recommend Woven Womb and Noa to anyone preparing for birth, or even someone who is trying to get pregnant and wants to feel more comfortable about the process. Even virtually, the support felt incredibly personal, and I’m so grateful I found them!
