My name is Fable Rodgers-Kurilenko and i've been a practicing Postpartum Doula(and occasional Birth Doula) for nearly two years after a long history with Nannying and being a Daycare teacher. I became a Doula because I longed to become more connected to families and mothers but within the Daycare setting due to conflicts of interest, was un able to do so. I had been interested in doula work since my early teens. My mother even bought me birth books in high school! That's when I left the daycare setting (returning to nannying for a time while I was in school) and got my doula certification.
