Hiring Natalie was one of the best decisions we made during my pregnancy! During our prenatal visits we received so much information, reassurance and tips on how my husband could physically support me during early labor. This was my second baby; my first birth experience was traumatic. Fortunately, this second experience was healing and gifted me a redemptive birth. She gave emotional support during late pregnancy to help keep me in right head space and the physical support was essential on birth day. If you wish for a low intervention experience, a doula is essential.

I am the founder of MotheRetreat, a doula agency serving South Florida from Miami to Boca Raton and Tampa Bay. Our birth doulas, postpartum doulas and overnight newborn care specialists are certified, insured and background-checked, and each one went through our own evaluation before meeting a family. You work with one coordinated plan: a primary doula, a vetted backup arranged in advance and a coordinator who keeps the schedule steady if your baby comes early or a shift has to move. Services: birth doula support (prenatal visits, continuous labor support, a postpartum visit), daytime postpartum doula care, overnight newborn care, and private childbirth and newborn care classes at home or online in South Florida. I am a CAPPA-certified birth doula and childbirth educator, a certified postpartum doula (Doula Link) and a breastfeeding counselor (AHEC); I speak English and Russian. MotheRetreat care is eligible for reimbursement through Carrot and Maven employer benefits, and we prepare every invoice and form for you. We hold a 4.9 rating on Google from 190+ families.

I cannot recommend Inara Arauz enough! From the moment she became part of our journey, she brought so much warmth, compassion, and reassurance during both my birth and postpartum experience. As my birth doula, Inara was incredibly supportive, knowledgeable, and calming. She helped me feel informed, empowered, and cared for every step of the way. Her presence made such a meaningful difference during one of the most important moments of my life. As my postpartum doula, Inara continued to go above and beyond. She was so sweet, kind, and unbelievably patient with my baby girl. Watching the love and gentle care she showed my daughter gave me so much peace of mind and allowed me to rest knowing she was in the very best hands. She also offered encouragement, guidance, and support when I needed it most as a new mom. I also want to give a special thank you to Laila, who cared for us as my postpartum doula on several nights. She was equally kind, compassionate, and attentive, and I always felt confident leaving my baby girl in her care. Her calm presence and genuine love for babies made those nights so much easier for our family. Both Inara and Laila have hearts of gold, and I am forever grateful for everything they did for our family. If you’re looking for a birth or postpartum doula who is experienced, caring, and truly passionate about what they do, I wholeheartedly recommend them. They made such a positive impact on our lives, and we will always cherish the support they gave us during this special time.

I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better person to be by my side throughout my pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey. From the beginning, she made me feel comfortable, supported, and heard. It never felt like she was just doing her job. I could tell she genuinely cared about me, my baby, and making sure I had the experience I wanted. One thing I really appreciated was how easy she was to talk to. I never felt judged or uncomfortable asking questions or expressing how I felt. She was always reassuring, patient, and there when I needed her. Having that kind of support, especially during labor and delivery, meant more to me than she probably realizes. Bringing Xavier into the world is something I’ll never forget, and I’m so grateful she got to be part of such a special moment in my life. Even after giving birth, she continued to check in and make sure we were doing okay, which really meant a lot to me. I would recommend her a thousand times over. Every mom deserves to have someone in their corner who truly cares, and that’s exactly what she was for me. I’m forever grateful! ❤️

As a first-time mom, I had so many worries from if I was doing things “right” to feeling nervous about being alone with my baby. Finding Alkin was truly an answered prayer. From the very first meeting, she made me feel seen, heard, and supported. She never took over or made me feel inadequate, but instead came alongside me with patience and encouragement, helping me build my confidence as a new mom. Whether it was guidance on newborn care, reassuring answers to my questions, or simply creating a calm space so I could rest, Alkin’s presence was invaluable. What makes her unique is the balance of being both a certified postpartum doula and a registered nurse, she brings not only warmth and understanding but also deep knowledge and professionalism. She tailored her support to fit my needs and respected my rhythms and values as a parent. She truly eased the transition into motherhood and gave me peace of mind during those overwhelming early weeks. I’m so grateful and would recommend her to any family/friends looking for both care and confidence on their parenting journey.

My name is Samantha Dorleus, and I’m from Miami, Florida. I’m the youngest of my older siblings, and growing up, I’ve always taken on the role of caretaker for my younger cousins. As my older sister and brother had children, it became second nature for me to help care for my nephews. When I found out I was pregnant, I knew I was ready for the journey ahead. Becoming a mother has been the most amazing experience of my life! Watching my daughter grow from a tiny baby in my belly to the beautiful little sunflower she is today has been truly incredible. Now that she’s 5 years old, I know I still have so much to learn as she continues to grow, but I’m beyond grateful to have her in my life. With my extensive experience caring for children since a young age, I’ve worked in after-school programs, summer camps, and preschools since 2015. Caring for children is something I’ve always loved and admired. I am now certified as a Doula and look forward to providing services to elevate and advocate for mothers, especially by offering postpartum/prenatal care. It’s my mission to support women as they navigate this beautiful but sometimes overwhelming journey of motherhood. I’m currently a full-time mom and, in my spare time, I enjoy cooking, crafting, working out, and finding new ways to support my daughter’s growth and development. I also love exploring new foods, with Caribbean cuisine being one of my favorites! I’m excited to offer my services and look forward to being of help to you all.

Hi everyone! My name is Grey Graham, and I am a Certified Postpartum and Birth Doula, as well as a Certified Breastfeeding Counselor. Currently, I service South Florida (primarily), but I am open to traveling to North Florida, as well as any neighboring states. In my honest opinion, I think children are a precious gem, they are Gods gift to us here on Earth. They're just so sweet and actually quite fun to be around, I believe that they are the future and we can learn more from them then we think. I also love to see people happy and enjoying the life we've been blessed with. I decided to become a doula become after constantly stumbling across people with fears/ bad stories about giving birth and having children. I saw that people were afraid of having an actual baby, anxious that they'd be abandoned in the delivery room, and nervous about how to take care of them after. I've heard moms break down thinking they're not doing enough and failing their infant. That's where I come in. My ideal practice is to give judgment free help families adapt to bringing their baby home, understand any concerns they have, and hopefully aid them into becoming able to enjoy this milestone of their life.

I can't explain how much having amber as my postpartum doula completely changed my postpartum experience (and my family's ). With my second child we decided to get a postpartum doula because after my first child I had a really difficult time. We now call her our angel. She anticipated what me and my family needed. Offering without imposing. Helping with anything we needed and more. Everyone in my family loves her and she became like part of our family. I can't recommend her enough. She's knowledgeable and kind. I trust her so much and I can't thank her enough.

Bryanne Eyma

Happy Pregnancy, Birth, and Postpartum Journey! My name is Bryanne Eyma and I'm a full spectrum community advocate with a focus in birth and postpartum care and wellness. I approach this work from a traditional African-centered perspective and value system that centers support rooted in evidence-based information and wholistic wellness practices. How can you and your family be and feel supported throughout this journey & smoothly transition into parenthood? How would you like to honor your transformation? How would you like to welcome in new life? I receive my education by sitting at the feet of, and training with, midwives across may different pathways of midwifery (such as CPM, TM, CNM, and LM). These wisdom holders carry over 10+ years of experience, and I have had the honor to travel globally from Ghana, West Africa, the Caribbean's, South Florida, and Georgia, USA, to immerse myself in learning the most optimal prenatal and postpartum care, as well as serving families, from them. The commonality within pregnancy and postpartum care however has been the centering of the mother's mental, emotional, and physical heath, the well-being of baby, and the communal nature of birth and postpartum itself. When choosing me as part of your care team, you are also choosing a team of three: two trained birth and postpartum care providers (myself included) and a certified Chef- because it takes a village. We will always conduct an initial meet in-person, if local, or virtually, if remote to see if we are the best team for you, or offer referrals if needed. The intention is, "how can we best give you what you need"? With deep gratitude and joy, thank you to the families I have worked with, will work with, and/or will be connected to. May all families have a team of space holders who affirm, advocate for, and trust the natural intelligence of pregnancy, the body, and the mother-baby symbiosis. May all mothers step in motherhood feeling respected, nurtured, and empowered!
