Hi I'm Chris! I'm super passionate about all things birth. I'm a birth and postpartum doula and a lactation councelor. I have 4 grown children, I was a sign language interpreter many years ago, and worked in a local church for 20 years. I was incredibly nieve and uninformed when I had my children and it is my hearts desire to support moms through pregnancy and birth as well as those first few months after baby is born. I have no preconcieved notions as to how your birth should or should not go. I believe in supporting you in the way that fits you the best while informing you of all your options. I am excited to be following my passion and I look forward to sharing it with you.

Chris was my birth doula, and let me say I would not have had the confidence to do an unmedicated birth as a first time mom without her support, knowledge, and guidance. Chris is EXTREMELY passionate about what she does and it is evident upon any interaction with her. She provided me with many tools to use not only while in labor, but also for pregnancy, breastfeeding, and postpartum. She made herself available to answer any questions I had, even post birth. She is tremendously supportive to any and all decisions you as a mom-to-be. She will not try to persuade you into something else. She makes it very clear it is YOUR birth and she is there to fully support you! If you are considering using Chris as a doula…please don’t think twice!! She is an incredible person..the sweetest woman you will ever meet and extremely knowledgeable! Thank you Chris!!!!

Hi, I’m Monica! I’m a certified postpartum doula through Cornerstone Doula and Birthwork Trainings and the heart behind The Sacred Season Doula. I believe every postpartum journey deserves tenderness, flexibility and genuine care. As a mom of four, I understand how each experience can feel completely different. Some moments are joyful, some feel overwhelming, and often it is a mix of both. My intention is to meet you exactly where you are and offer support that feels calming, respectful and deeply human. I specialize in overnight postpartum support, creating a peaceful and steady presence while you rest and recover. Whether it is newborn care, feeding support, emotional grounding, or simply giving you the gift of uninterrupted sleep, my goal is to make your nights softer and your days lighter. The postpartum period is a sacred season and no one is meant to move through it alone. I am here to help you feel held, supported and cared for as you settle into life with your baby. I serve families across these South Jersey counties: Gloucester, Camden, Cumberland, Salem, and parts of Burlington and Atlantic counties.

We had the pleasure of having Monica as our postpartum doula after the birth of our second baby. Monica is sweet, caring, and hard working. She supported my feeding goals, whether I wanted her to bring me baby to breastfeed or wanted her to offer baby a bottle so I could get some extra sleep. In addition to helping to care for our newborn, she was a tremendous help with cleaning bottles and pump parts and folding laundry - all the tasks that helped us focus on baby and get some extra sleep. Monica was a big help to us during the postpartum period and we gladly recommend her!

Having Michelle as part of our birth process was one of the absolute best decisions we made. We really wanted someone who had a deep knowledge and could help prepare us yet also be emotionally / psychologically supportive - and she was incredible. Her calm yet empowering energy, her levelheaded acumen, her kind consideration and openness - she made all the difference not only in the delivery room but before and after as well! Michelle prepared us thoroughly regarding what to expect, provided us lots of 'tools' (i.e. resources, information, exercises, etc) to have in our toolbox, and when things were happening during labor she was a grounding presence able to help ask the right questions, make sure I was approaching things the way I wanted to, and we felt incredibly supported the whole time. She made the room a little oasis which I truly believe contributed to me relaxing and ultimately having a smooth delivery. She is the best - anyone would be lucky to have her on their team. <3

Our experience with Liz was truly wonderful! With Liz, you will feel safe, heard, & held through one of the most important moments of your life. When we initially spoke, it was probably 2 minutes into the conversation when we knew she was the right doula. The call ended, my husband & I looked at each other & immediately said, "I LOVED her." Liz laid out everything that we should expect, & did it in a way where we didn't feel judged. Others had tried to convince us that we had unresolved trauma, or had made mistakes in previous births. Liz's trust in us knowing what we needed was so reassuring. During the pregnancy, Liz is there if you need her, checking in to see how appts. went, & getting a feel for your mindset approaching birth. Liz was vital in my ability to remain calm as my due date came, then passed by 9 days! We discussed ways to help encourage labor, different scenarios as 42 weeks approached, & reassurances that my baby & body knew what they were doing. Being a 3rd time mom I really thought I knew it all, but when things went so much longer than we all expected, I was so grateful to have Liz's calm & confident presence. At OBC, Liz arrived exactly when I needed her. She easily fit into the flow of labor offering assistance to me, & guiding my husband to help through contractions. Liz understands when to step to the forefront, & also when to hang back. Her experience & presence in the birthing space made me feel more supported & calm than I had previously. My labor was fast, but I never felt like I lost control. Liz took stunning photos during birth, capturing all of the phases of labor, recovery, & beautiful shots of the baby. The photos will be cherished by our family for the rest of our lives! Liz doesn't disappear after you're done having the baby. She checks in during your recovery at home, & even comes to visit. We loved working with Liz!

My own experience gave me an even deeper understanding of what families may need during this transformative season and strengthened my commitment to providing thoughtful, compassionate care. I provide calm, nonjudgmental care tailored to each family’s unique needs. Whether supporting you during labor, helping you recover after birth, assisting with newborn care, feeding, soothing techniques, or simply offering reassurance during those first weeks, my goal is to help you feel safe, supported, and never alone. It is a privilege to walk alongside families as they welcome their babies with confidence and peace.

I can’t recommend Mony enough! She was my birth doula and supported me throughout my entire pregnancy. After my prenatal appointments, I often left with so many questions, and Mony was always there to answer them, reassure me, and help me understand everything better. On the day of my birth, Mony stayed by my side the entire time. She gave me so much emotional and physical support, and my husband was also very grateful to have her there with us. What meant the most to me was that even after my baby was born, Mony stayed with us until we were moved to the postpartum room. She helped me during those first moments with my newborn and made me feel more confident and supported. Having Mony by my side during such an important time in my life was truly special. I’m so grateful for all the care and support she gave me and my family. If you are looking for a doula who will truly care about you, listen to you, and support you throughout your birth, I highly recommend Mony. I’m so happy I had her by my side.

Being in postpartum has made a lot of things more difficult but Diane's help has made one of those hardest things so much more enjoyable and approachable. She was extremely non-judgmental, very attentive, and very observant. I thought all was lost and the meltdowns would be normal,,but after Diane's visit, both baby and I had a much easier time approaching breastfeeding.

I am so looking forward to serving you.

We had such a wonderful experience with Gabrielle as our night doula! She was incredibly kind, warm, and caring, and immediately made me feel completely comfortable knowing my newborn was in such good hands overnight. Having someone I trusted caring for my baby allowed me to actually sleep and recover, which was truly invaluable during those first few days. Gabrielle took such great care of our little one throughout the night—feeding her, changing her, soothing her, and making sure she was comfortable. She also kept a detailed tracker of all of her feedings, wet and dirty diapers, and everything that happened overnight, so I always knew exactly how the night went when I woke up. Most importantly, I always felt that my baby was safe, loved, and genuinely cared for with Gabrielle. She gave me so much peace of mind during such a special and vulnerable time, and I’m incredibly grateful we had her. I would absolutely recommend Gabrielle to any new mom looking for some extra support and much-needed rest!
