The cost of a night nanny in Keizer, OR can be influenced by several factors:

  • Experience and Qualifications

Nannies with extensive experience, certifications (e.g., newborn care specialist), or specific training often charge higher rates.

  • Number of Babies

Caring for twins or multiples typically costs more than caring for a single baby due to the increased workload.

  • Hours and Duration

Rates may vary depending on the number of hours per night, the total number of nights required, and whether the arrangement is short-term or long-term.

  • Duties and Responsibilities

Additional responsibilities, such as bottle preparation, light housekeeping, or sleep training, can increase the cost.

  • Time of Year

Demand during peak times, like the holiday season, may drive prices higher.

  • Agency Fees

Hiring through an agency often includes placement fees or additional charges for their services, adding to the overall cost.

  • Overnight Rates vs. Hourly Rates

Some nannies charge a flat overnight rate, while others charge hourly, which can influence costs depending on the length of the shift.

When considering hiring a night nanny in Keizer, OR, it's advisable to research and interview several night nannies to find one who aligns with your preferences, needs, and budget. During consultations, you can discuss their specific services and pricing structure to ensure you have a clear understanding of what is included and the associated costs. As a doula, clinical herbalist, and massage therapist, I walk alongside mothers with a presence that is both gentle and deeply grounded. I believe that healing thrives in environments of trust, tenderness, and nourishment, and I cultivate that space for every family I serve. The fourth trimester is a sacred window of transformation, and my role is to help you move through it with steadiness, warmth, and compassionate support. My philosophy is rooted in honoring your intuition and the ancient wisdom of the body. I offer a holistic blend of postpartum care, therapeutic touch, and plant-based remedies to help soothe the nervous system, reduce tension, and support your full-body healing. Whether preparing nourishing meals, providing bodywork, or simply holding space for your emotions, my intention is always the same: to help you feel seen, supported, and deeply resourced as you settle into life with your baby.

Jennifer was absolutely amazing! I cannot recommend her enough. She is an incredible chef, a knowledgeable herbalist, a skilled masseuse, and truly one of the kindest souls I’ve ever met. We feel so blessed to have found her and for everything she has brought into our lives. As a postpartum doula, she was unbelievably supportive. She helped with the baby, cooked nourishing meals for me, and did light household chores—relieving so much pressure during those early weeks. She meal-prepped any recipe I requested and offered thoughtful suggestions based on where I was in my postpartum journey.  Her herbal remedies were also a game changer. She created custom teas to support when I had low iron and low vitamin D, as well as one one to help with UTIs. Her tinctures are some of the best I’ve ever tasted—smooth rather than harsh. I especially loved the schisandra berry elixir, the lion’s mane elixir, and the cacao reishi elixir. I also used her seasonal oxymel for allergies. Her skincare products are equally amazing; her womb-warming oil and belly balm tallow both smelled incredible and made me feel so cared for. On top of all that, she is a fantastic masseuse. She even taught me a few massage techniques to help break down scar tissue from my emergency cesarean. If you’re looking for a kind, knowledgeable, and truly dedicated doula, Jennifer is your lady!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about our doula Rebecca. From the very beginning, she was attentive, compassionate, and genuinely invested in making our birth experience as positive and stress-free as possible. She was incredibly hands-on, always available to answer questions, provide reassurance, and offer practical guidance every step of the way. Her knowledge, professionalism, and calm presence gave us confidence during a time that could have felt overwhelming. Whether it was helping us prepare before labor, providing comfort measures during labor, or offering support postpartum, her dedication never wavered. What truly set her apart was how much she cared. She made us feel heard, respected, and supported throughout the entire journey. We are so grateful for her expertise, kindness, and unwavering commitment to our family. If you are looking for a doula who is attentive, knowledgeable, hands-on, and genuinely compassionate, we wholeheartedly recommend her without hesitation.

Now Booking for 2027! I believe everyone deserves a village. I also know that asking for help, especially during the transition to parenthood, is one of the bravest and most vulnerable things a person can do. My role as a postpartum doula is to come alongside families during this tender season, helping them identify their unique needs and supporting them as they grow into their new roles. One of the greatest gifts I can offer is helping families feel more rested, confident, and resourced. I approach each family with care and curiosity, always honoring their culture, beliefs, values, hopes, and goals. By centering your family’s identity, I can help support a home that truly reflects who you are. I have experience working with a wide range of families and circumstances, including addiction recovery, infants with special needs, and sleep support. No two families are the same, and I believe deeply that what works beautifully for one family may not work at all for another. As a postpartum doula, my primary goal is to meet families exactly where they are. By getting to know you and your needs, I can offer thoughtful, individualized support that helps establish a balanced and nurturing home. I try to be a non-judgmental, compassionate presence and someone who accepts you as you are and supports you as you become the parents you hope to be. I aim to be your biggest cheerleader, offering reassurance, practical help, and guidance along the way. At this time, I provide overnight postpartum care exclusively. ⸻ About Me As a mother to a vivacious pre-teen, I’ve experienced both the profound joys and the very real challenges of motherhood. While my kiddo and I are happy and healthy today, our early years were marked by unexpected hospital stays, long periods of solo parenting, and eventually the work of building a successful co-parenting relationship. These experiences shaped me deeply and ignited my passion for supporting families navigating recovery, mental health challenges, past trauma, limited support systems, and complex family dynamics. When I gave birth in 2013, I had no idea postpartum doula support even existed. I believed new parents were simply supposed to figure it out on their own, and if they struggled, it meant they were failing. I now know how UNTRUE and harmful that belief can be. My mission is to ensure families know that support is available, and that they were never meant to do this alone. Before becoming a postpartum doula, I spent more than 20 years working as a nanny and childcare provider and earned an associate degree in pre-education. Four years ago, a friend introduced me to postpartum doula work, a role I had never heard of, but instantly knew was meant for me. Within weeks, I began my training, and I’ve never looked back. I wake up every day feeling grateful to do work that is meaningful, supportive, and deeply aligned with who I am. As a lifelong night owl who spent years trying to fit into a morning-person world, I’ve finally found my calling providing overnight postpartum care during my natural “prime time” hours. Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, I’ve been happily married to my best friend and biggest cheerleader for over three years. Together, we’ve blended our family with my kiddo and his son. Now that our children are older, we share a passion for travel, curiosity, and fully experiencing the world around us. After years of letting life pass by, I now make a conscious effort to savor experiences (big and small) as they come. My friends and family often joke about my boundless energy and zest for life, and together with my husband and kids, we are always embracing what comes next.

We were very fortunate to work with Larah after the birth of our twins and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for postpartum support. Beyond expert overnight care of the babies, Larah brought genuine openness, warmth, curiosity, and compassion into our home helping us all to feel held through the tender newborn period. We all deserve a Larah in our lives. Worth every penny.

Hi, I’m Kim, and I’m so glad you’re here. I’m the owner of Birthing Days Doula Services and a certified birth and postpartum doula, childbirth educator, and sleep consultant serving families throughout the Portland metro area. For over eight years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting more than 250 families through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and those early days of parenthood. From hospital births and inductions to cesareans, VBACs, birth centers, and home births, I believe every family deserves to feel informed, supported, and never alone. My approach is evidence-based, compassionate, and completely judgment-free. Whether you're hoping for an unmedicated birth, planning an epidural, preparing for a cesarean, or simply wanting someone in your corner, I’m here to help you feel confident, empowered, and cared for every step of the way. Families often tell me that having me by their side feels like having both a knowledgeable guide and a trusted friend. I’ll cheer you on, help you navigate decisions, provide practical support, and remind you that you are capable of doing hard things. When I’m not supporting families, you’ll find me spending time with my husband of 25 years and our three children, reading, traveling, camping, or cheering on the Oregon Ducks. Pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to do it alone. If you're looking for support that is calming, encouraging, and personalized to your family, I would love the opportunity to walk alongside you during this incredible season of life.

Kim was so helpful- a calming and informative presence. This was so needed, especially when everything went haywire- she adapted to our needs as I went into labor a month early, and had to unexpectedly change hospitals. She was quite literally my only predictable factor in this experience. Her advocacy and communication skills were always on point, and she was so easy to talk to. I would highly recommend her services to anyone!

Hello! I’m Jordan, and I'm deeply passionate about nurturing families and caring for little ones. After spending more than a decade as a nanny, I discovered just how much I love showing up for families in whatever way they need, day by day. Being closely connected to many families and dear friends during their pregnancies, births, and postpartum journeys opened my eyes to just how transformative and intense the perinatal season can be. That experience sparked a desire in me to learn everything I could about supporting people during this sacred time, and it quickly became clear that becoming a doula was my calling. I went on to train as a fertility, birth, and postpartum doula, and found myself especially drawn to supporting families during the postpartum period. It's a time that often feels overlooked, despite being so crucial. I completed my postpartum doula certification and began my work, focusing on offering real, tangible support when families need it most. As a postpartum doula, I’m here to walk alongside new parents as they find their footing and build confidence in their own instincts. My approach is rooted in being a calm, grounding, and consistent presence during what can be an overwhelming transition. I tailor my support to meet each family's individual needs because no two postpartum journeys look the same. It’s incredibly important to me that the families I support feel safe, heard, and cared for, every step of the way. One of the biggest challenges I noticed early on was sleep, or more accurately, the serious lack of it. Wanting to better guide families through that hurdle, I became certified as an Infant and Family Sleep Specialist. Supporting families with sleep, including overnight care, has since become a core part of my work and something I care deeply about. As a queer person, I’m especially passionate about affirming and supporting families of all kinds. It’s a true honor to be welcomed into such a personal and powerful chapter in someone’s life, and I’m endlessly grateful for the opportunity to do this work. Please note: I have a the majority of my testimonials on google under Bun and Bundle

Having Jordan become part of our village during our first weeks with a newborn was one of the best decisions we've made as new parents. From the very first night, she brought a calm, steady presence into our home. Jordan was incredibly kind, endlessly patient, and completely unfazed by the chaos of newborn life and the messy, emotional reality of postpartum recovery. She was warm and gentle with our baby—someone we fully trusted to care for them while we got some much-needed rest. Jordan's flexibility with scheduling and willingness to adapt as our needs changed was something we didn’t realize we’d value so much until we were in it. Jordan also has that rare ability to show up with quiet confidence and deep compassion, without ever making it about her. She just makes things feel manageable—and in those early weeks, that’s everything. If you're on the fence, don’t be. Jordan is the kind of support every family deserves in the thick of those exhausting, beautiful first months.

If you’re reading this, you’re likely researching doulas for prenatal, labor, and postpartum support. You should absolutely consider Georgia Bonds-Abele. I can’t recommend her highly enough. As first-time parents, my husband and I knew we wanted support navigating the unknowns of pregnancy, labor, and birth. We met Georgia during my second trimester, and selected to work with her. What stood out most was her depth of knowledge and practical guidance provided in preparing for an unmedicated birth. I had hoped for an unmedicated hospital birth, and with her support I was able to achieve it! Even when we faced an unexpected gestational diabetes diagnosis and the decision to schedule an induction, Georgia helped us feel informed, validated and confident in our decisions. During our prenatal visits (plus many texts, calls, and shared Notes app lists), she was generous with her time and incredibly thorough. She also helped my husband feel prepared and confident in his role as a birth partner, helping him prepare to support me physically and emotionally during labor. From weeks 37–40 (and beyond if needed), Georgia was on call and fully available. When the time came, she joined us at the hospital for my induction and was a constant source of support through labor: with hands-on comfort techniques and tools, guidance, and strong advocacy. She has a calm and gentle presence, but she is also a powerful advocate and was truly impressive when communicating with both healthcare providers and family members during critical moments. From shaping my birth preferences to postpartum support (including holding my baby so I could take care of a few things around the house), Georgia was exceptional through every stage. I would absolutely work with her again for future births and wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, supportive, and empowering doula.
