I have had a servant heart ever since I could remember, around age 9 is when I really took care of a baby by myself, for the first time. I have been a professional nanny since I was 22 years old but I have been taking care of children for about 28 years now. My career path has been eclectic—spanning universities, hospitality, medical offices, and finance—but in every role, I found myself drawn to supporting others, keeping things organized, and creating calm in the middle of complexity. I hold a bachelor’s degree in science with a minor in anthropology, and I’ve always been fascinated by the ways we care for one another. Before we became pregnant again, I was researching what we had missed and awoke a passion for childbirth and maternal care that has only deepened over the years. After our three kids were born, I became a Childbirth Educator in 2017 and a Birth Doula in 2018. I also delivered two babies as a gestational surrogate in 2019 and 2021.
