Jaimie is an amazing partner to have on your childbirth journey! It had been several years since our last child was born, so we reached out to her to help us get up to speed and educate us on what to expect. We were amazed by how much we didn’t know the first time around, and her guidance was incredibly helpful. From answering our many questions to helping us prepare ahead of time, Jaimie made sure we felt informed, confident, and ready every step of the way. She helped us think through important details in advance, which made the entire experience so much smoother. When it came time for the birth, Jaimie was an incredible source of support and encouragement throughout the entire process. I am so grateful she was part of our journey and birth experience. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate, and supportive doula, I can’t recommend Jaimie enough. She is truly incredible!

Hiring Kristen as our doula was the best thing I did for my pregnancy and birth. She made herself available throughout the final few months of my pregnancy via countless texts and phone calls prepared to answer all the wild questions I had about any symptoms or feelings. When I finally went into labor, none of us knew I’d be in it for a whopping 60 hours before my son was in my arms. I could go on and on about all the things she did to help get my son in an optimal position (there were many) but at the end of the day, she was just there for me. There for me when I thought I’d be having an unmedicated birth center birth. There for me when we had to have a c-section instead. And there for me after while I processed it all. She is amazing and I’d hire her again and again and again.

Briauna Donnelly

Hi, I'm Briauna! Birth doula, prenatal yoga instructor, energy worker, and mother. My role is not to tell you how to birth or who you should become. My role is to walk beside you, helping you cultivate trust in yourself, deepen your connection with your baby, and feel supported as you navigate the transition into motherhood. Moms rarely need more information. They need space. Space to slow down, to connect with themselves, to strengthen their relationship with their baby, and to feel seen, heard, and held. When a mother feels supported emotionally, physically, and mentally, she is better able to access her intuition, make decisions aligned with her values, and move through birth and motherhood with greater confidence and ease. This is why my approach centers on the connection between mind, body, and baby. Because when all three are nurtured together, the experience of becoming a mother can feel less overwhelming and more empowering.

As a mommy with a bad 1st birth emergency c-section experience, Briauna was a wonderful blessing this second time around! Her attention to detail, expertise and sympathy made me feel safe and fearless. When it was time to welcome my baby into this world, I had all the confidence and support that I believe every mommy needs and deserves! I can’t stress enough how much I enjoyed having her around in a very beautiful yet vulnerable time in my life.

Service: Labor and Birth Doula Context: Father, 2nd Child, 1st at-home birth Despite our preparations, our first birth taught us that we can always know, prepare, and expect more. We met Julie in our doula interviews early in our preparations, and with our first home-birth, we knew we needed someone with the knowledge to build our trust, the confidence to direct when needed, and the serenity to alleviate our anxieties. Julie brought every one of those to the table, and more! During our first birth, I couldn't help but feel like a third-wheel, understanding key parts of the birth, but serving mostly as an observer, with the occasional comforting words. In preparation for our 2nd, Julie offered both live Q&As, and preparatory, informative, and engaging classes, which helped prepare not only my wife, but myself in both what to expect and how to engage with each part of the birth. Rather than only observing, or waiting for direction, I became an active participant, predicting and understanding my wife's needs, while also being able to adapt as needed. As labor's frequently do, ours started late in the night, and with a quick call, Julie assessed the situation and determined to come over to help, even in the early stages. As a doula, she helped guide us into active labor, recognizing when we hit hurdles, and confidently and calmly discussed alternative positions and practices. Serving not only as doula, she frequently provided updates that would help our midwife determine how far along we were, and stayed by Laura's side through delivery! In the interest of time, I'll end with an appreciation of Julie's ability to frequently bridge the gap when all the participants became a little too single-minded; Julie would swoop in, suggesting breaks, and even cooking up some delicious meals! Even afterwards, Julie visited and brought a smorgasbord of home-cooked foods, taking the weight off of running a household, and letting my wife, my children, and myself, take time to simply be with each other. Thank you so much, Julie, for not only being what my wife needed, but helping me to be the same! P.S. For the Mother's perspective, Laura's review should post soon!

I entered into the childbirth field for two main reasons. First, I want to empower women through the natural methods of childbirth. I remember the feelings of strength and control that I encountered when I had my three children at home in the presence of midwives. Now, I want to pass this on to other expectant mothers. With my first pregnancy, I was alone and thought about placing my baby with adoptive parents. Then one day, along comes the most incredible woman who ended up changing my life. She was a midwife who said that she would take me on as a client for the fee of $50 (for supplies). Little did I know that she had hoped that a home birth would convince me to keep my baby. Well, her plan was a success and she has given me a gift I have yet to repay. My second reason for getting into the birthing field was because I want to eradicate the general public’s misconceptions about pregnancy and the birthing process. A woman’s pregnant uterus should not be treated as a tumorous growth to be controlled by medicine, but rather a natural event that women have been participating for many years before doctors. In most cases, birth can be accomplished safely and satisfactorily without intervention, such as drugs and surgery. The need for patience must be practiced in the presence of a laboring woman. I believe that each labor and birth is a unique and miraculous experience. I also believe that there is more than one good way to have a baby and that parents should have the proper tools available for effective informed consent and informed refusal. **Bringing Peace, Serenity, & Calm from Preconception Through Pregnancy, Birth & Recovery** Hi, I’m Crystal, a holistic doula, perinatal massage therapist, educator, and guide supporting individuals and families through fertility, pregnancy, birth, and recovery. With over a decade of experience, I offer whole-person care that helps you feel calm, informed, deeply cared for, and confident in the choices you make along the way. I believe these experiences are about more than reaching the next milestone. Whether you're preparing for pregnancy, navigating fertility or infertility, growing your family, preparing for birth, or recovering from pregnancy, your body, mind, and emotional well-being deserve thoughtful support through the transition. My approach brings together bodywork, education, doula care, and personalized guidance to meet you where you are. Some clients come to me for physical relief or support preparing their bodies for what's ahead. Others need help sorting through information, understanding their options, preparing for birth or parenthood, or simply having a calm, knowledgeable person beside them while plans change. There isn't one "right" way to move through fertility, pregnancy, birth, or recovery. My role isn't to fit you into a philosophy or tell you what you should choose. It's to help you understand your options, honor your values, care for your body, and create more peace in whatever season you're navigating. *Because peace of mind comes from understanding your options, not being told what to do.*

Crystal was our doula for both of our children. I could not have made it through two unmedicated labors without her. She was an advocate, a guiding voice, a gentle hand, and knew exactly when to interject humor and empathy when they were needed most.

I’m beyond grateful for Kayli’s presence during the birth of our twin boys. Though this was my third pregnancy, Kayli renewed my sense of empowerment and knowledge about birth. She didn’t just bring experience but she brought a deep understanding of birth as part of God’s design. This encouraged me to trust my body’s ability and make choices rooted in faith. And by God’s grace, I was able to deliver our twins vaginally + unmedicated.  When doctors' demands created a sense of urgency around birth of our boys, Kayli coached me beforehand, giving me the confidence to pause, reflect and make intentional decisions.  During labor, Kayli and my husband worked in tandem for hours ensuring I was never without support. This constant teamwork and extra set of hands (!!) helped me through the toughest moments. Given the risks of twin deliveries, I was prepared for an OR birth. When we entered that bright, sterile room, fear took over. But in the brief moments between the births, Kayli ensured the doctors allowed me to hold my baby before he was taken away, offering me the strength to deliver our second just 14 minutes later. Her intuition in that moment was unforgettable.  Following births, when I faced mild hemorrhaging and my husband was with the babies in the NICU, Kayli stayed by my side during the overwhelming medical attention, she remained calm, and a steady source of comfort. What truly sets Kayli apart is her deep heart of service, empathy, and respect for mom and baby. She doesn’t just support the birth, she offers care through every step of the journey into motherhood. Her compassion shines in every interaction. If you’re seeking a doula, Kayli is the perfect choice. I’m forever grateful for her role in bringing our babies into the world and confident that she will offer the same extraordinary support to every family fortunate enough to have her by their side.

I'm Hannah, a birth and postpartum doula serving families across Northern Colorado. I've supported families through pregnancy, birth, and the weeks after, most of them in hospitals and birth centers. More than half had high-risk conditions like severe preeclampsia. My approach is evidence-based and grounded in informed consent. I give you real information, not a personal agenda, so you can make decisions that feel right for you. I work alongside your doctor or midwife, never in place of them. Now I also offer daytime postpartum support in your home: feeding help, recovery check-ins, newborn care, and time for you to rest, shower, and eat. I don't offer overnights. I accept Health First Colorado (Medicaid), CHP+, and TriWest, plus HSA and FSA. Cost should never be the reason you go without support.

I just wanted to take a big thank you and recommend my birthing doula to anyone who needs that extra support during their pregnancy! Hannah Hosey is so sweet and really cares about you and your birthing experience. She consistently checked on me the couple of months I had her. She was there to answer any question I had and literally would respond the second I needed advice about my pregnancy. And I went into a VERY fast labor where I checked into the hospital and had my baby girl within a 40 minutes of being there and she arrived there literally in like 20 minutes. She made a very intense situation for me a lot calmer. Her energy is just so caring and great! I’m happy I have met her! 🫶♥️

My name is Carisa Niemyer and I work as a doula and doula trainer in Colorado SpringsI found my way into doula work through the birth of my first child. My story didn't go exactly how I wanted and my baby had her own story of how she wanted to be born, as these babes often do. But after my delivery I felt so empowered and supported and loved my story. Much of the reason this was true was because of the support of a doula. That experience led me into the world of birth work and I have now been a doula for 18 years, working in both birth and postpartum, as well as training new doulas at Birthingway College of Midwifery in Portland OR as well as in my own training organization here in Colorado Springs. I am passionate about supporting families in whatever their birth choices are, and believe non-judgemental, continuous support thought a families journey can make all the difference! I have worked with a lot of families over the years and each story has been unique and beautiful. I have experience is both high risk and low risk pregnancies. Hospital births as well as home births. I also have experience with twins and triplets, both in birth and postpartum work. My hope is that each family I work with feels empowered and supported in whatever choices they make as they boldly enter this new season of life!

When I tell my birth story, I always end up singing Carissa's praises! She was there for us as we prepped for the birth of our first son and was by my side throughout labor and delivery. She was so encouraging and grounding and kept me going throughout an extremely exhausting labor process. My homebirth didn't go as expected, and I ended up pushing for over 3 hours at home before I transferred to the hospital and eventually ended up getting a c-section due to really tricky positioning. Carissa was by my side from 7 am to about 1 am the next day when my son finally arrived. At home, Carissa encouraged me, helped me try every position imaginable to encourage my baby to come down, and helped my husband know how to best support and love me. When we transferred, Carissa was by my side the whole time, explaining things to me and helping us make choices for each next step. When we finally went in for our C-section, I was able to pick one other person to be there, aside from my husband, and Carissa was the obvious choice (even over my sister and my midwife, both whom I adore, of course!). Carissa also took the most amazing photos with one of our phones during the surgery and I'm so thankful to have those memories! She was there for me in recovery and helped my son latch for the first time and continued to be a support to me in postpartum. I tell ALL of my friends who are having babies to hire Carissa, and of course, it was a no-brainer that she would be by my side as I deliver my second baby in a matter of weeks! If you're looking for a doula, look no further!
