Since high school, I thought about becoming a midwife, however my life did not go in that direction. I met my husband, Dennis, in 2011. He was in the military, and we moved around often. After having kids of my own in 2020, I knew I wanted to be a birth worker. I, personally, had a hard time adjusting to becoming a mom and I would love to support anyone going through this journey. I did not have a doula for either of my births, but I could have used one. My first birth experience was fast and I thought I knew what to expect, I did not! It was a shock, and I needed someone who knew what was happening and what was a normal part of labor. I needed someone to tell me to relax and exhale. My second birth was also fast, but my breathing was under control and it made the biggest difference. I will be there with you through it all and we’ll exhale, together.

Now on to why you’re here! After the birth of our first child, I realized there were some big gaps in the childbirth classes that we took. Before we became pregnant again, I was researching what we had missed and awoke a passion for childbirth and maternal care that has only deepened over the years.
