I have been so blessed to have jobs I have loved all my life - wife, mother, grandmother, registered nurse, pregnancy care center director, lactation consultant and certified postpartum doula. It is hard to believe it has been over 50 years since nursing school. Though I would never have thought so in nursing school, my focus has always been all things moms, babies and families. ​This journey has taken me from basic knowledge of how babies are born to a deep respect of the profound changes that take place within the childbearing family, because we are so fearfully and wonderfully made.

Being a Doula has brought much fulfillment into Jennifer’s life. As a Birth Worker, she enjoys being able to be a source of comfort and guidance for families. Seventeen years ago, she decided to become a birth & postpartum doula after working closely for years with her own grandmother, who was a midwife.
