Hello, Everyone, I’m Netta, founder/CEO of Doula Dynasty. I’m a newborn care specialist, certified birth and postpartum doula, certified breastfeeding and childbirth educator, and a veteran homeschool mommy of five. I’ve spent over 30 years supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, bringing both professional expertise and lived experience to every family I serve. I hold a Master’s in Healthcare Informatics and certifications including CNA, Infant/Child CPR, AED, First Aid, Newborn Care Specialist, Birth and Postpartum Doula, and Breastfeeding Educator. I’m passionate about creating a holistic, calm, and enjoyable birth experience, tailored to each family’s unique needs. I believe that when the environment is relaxing and supportive, birth can be empowering, memorable, and even joyful. Outside of doula work, I love to meditate, write, read, spend time with my family, and sip green tea. I have a lifelong love of the beach and seafood boils, which keeps me grounded and connected to my roots. Doula Dynasty is about empowerment, connection, and generational impact. I provide compassionate, holistic, evidence-based care in a nurturing environment, honoring your choices and helping families feel confident, seen, and celebrated. My goal is to leave families not only with a positive birth and postpartum experience but also with a renewed sense of strength, resilience, and joy.

We worked with Netta and Doula Dynasty for four months for overnights from the day we brought our second daughter home from the hospital. From that first night, Netta was incredible. Very caring, responsible, professional and safe with our daughter and also supportive of me postpartum. She is positive, loving and knows exactly what to do to help your baby sleep so that you can get some rest. She’s also helped us during the day too and is a lovely person. Highly recommend!

Hey, I’m Kaleish, a public health practitioner, doctoral student (in public health) and a certified full-spectrum (birth and postpartum) doula. I currently hold certifications in providing NICU doula support as well as High Risk doula support. I am currently in training to be a certified community lactation educator. Think of me as your perinatal support person. I support women and birthing people of color who are feeling dismissed, unsure, or overwhelmed during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I started this work because I realized how many women of color are navigating pregnancy without the support, guidance, or advocacy they deserve. It deeply concerns me how often Black and Brown women have their concerns dismissed by medical providers—sometimes resulting in traumatic and avoidable birth experiences. Now, I help women and birthing people of color move from feeling unheard and unsure to feeling informed, supported, and empowered to advocate for themselves and their birth preferences. If you’re a woman or birthing person of color feeling dismissed, unsure, or overwhelmed—you’re in the right place. This journey is yours. I’m simply here to hold space, answer your questions, and make sure you feel safe, seen, and supported every step of the way. Random Facts: I've supported births at Katz Women's Hospital at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, Hungtinton Hospital, NewYork-Presbyterian Alexandra Cohen Hospital for Women and Newborns and NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. I am a lefty/ left handed. I don't have a sense of direction even with a map, however, I will find my way to support you. I was born in the Caribbean and spent most of my childhood and some of my teenage years living there. I love me some 80s and 90s black sitcoms. Book Your Free Consultation: Book Now via https://calendly.com/kaysgentlehands/30min?back=1&month=2026-07

Kaleish was a phenomenal doula for me during my journey into motherhood. She provided my husband and I with excellent information and resources during my pregnancy and postpartum. She is also amazing with newborns and has such a calming, kind, and enlightening energy that really made me feel safe and cared for during labor. I absolutely recommend her! She is also gave us great techniques of how to advocate for ourselves in the hospital. Thank you Kaleish!

Hi my name is Curbeth Tappin founder of Embrace a New Love postpartum services. I am a postpartum doula with 13 years of experience, providing exceptional care to families during the perinatal period. My journey into this field was inspired by my upbringing in a household with a mother who was a midwife, where I witnessed the miracle of birth and recognized the need for more support for both the birthing parent and baby during the postpartum period. As a postpartum doula, I offer comprehensive support to new mothers, including lactation assistance and daily infant care such as feeding and bathing. When working overnight, I ensures the baby's sleep environment is safe and maintains a detailed journal of sleep and feeding patterns. Trained by DONA International, I am well-equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to provide excellent care to both newborns and parents. My passion for postpartum care shines through in my dedication to helping families navigate this transformative time with comfort and confidence.

Curbeth Tappin helped my family. Curbeth was the postpartum doula for my sister a few years before I got pregnant with my 4th child. My sister recommended that I hire her because of how much she helped her with her daughter. Curbeth came into my home after my son’s birth and had the nursery completely organized. She assisted me to acclimate the older children with the new baby. She allowed me to rest while she took care of my son. Although I had 3 other children this time breastfeeding was a bit of a struggle. Curbeth provided lactation support as well as emotional support, which I needed to get through that difficult period. She stayed and worked with my family for 3 month. A couple months later i found out I was pregnant with my 5th and last child. Curbeth returned and provided the same amazing support she provided the first time. Having 2 child under 2 years old was a very difficult, but Curbeth made this so much easier. Her patients and loving nature made her feel like part of the family. I know that any family she works for will receive the best support ever.

Debbie was incredible support during the first few weeks of caring for our newborn daughter as I recovered from delivery and we adjusted to parenthood as first-time parents. Her top priority was always our daughter’s care, handling everything related to her needs, including diaper changes, laundry, and organizing her belongings. Debbie is kind, patient, respectful, and extremely professional. She made us feel comfortable and confident while teaching us essential newborn care skills, from diapering and feeding to bathing and soothing. Beyond hands-on care, she helped us stay organized, offered thoughtful product recommendations, and shared valuable tips for the future. Her knowledge, calm demeanor, and supportive approach made a meaningful difference during such a sensitive and important time in our lives.

My journey into birth work began at 21, when I supported my mother through her pregnancy and cesarean birth. Years later, I had the honor of supporting my sister through the births of my nieces. These experiences, along with my own three empowering and pleasurable births, sparked a deep calling to support other women and families through the transformative experience of birth. My perspective on birth shifted profoundly through the Orgasmic Birth Practitioner Program and Debra Pascali-Bonaro’s film, Orgasmic Birth: The Best Kept Secret.
