Omi-O Doula & Perinatal Care | Supporting You Through Every Stage of Birth Hi, I’m Fatihma Hudson, birth doula, childbirth educator, and founder of Omi-O Doula & Perinatal Care, serving families throughout Broward and Miami-Dade counties. My work is rooted in birth justice, informed decision-making, holistic care, and respectful maternity support. I help families understand their options, prepare for labor, communicate with their care team, and feel supported even when birth does not go exactly according to plan. I support hospital, birth center, and home births, including unmedicated birth, epidural birth, inductions, VBAC preparation, cesarean birth, postpartum recovery, and abortion and pregnancy-loss support. My experience includes training with the Southern Birth Justice Network, participation in doula and maternal-health initiatives connected with Jackson Memorial, and supporting families throughout South Florida through pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum. I’ve also created comprehensive birth-prep workbooks, prenatal education curricula, advocacy tools, and digital resources designed to make childbirth education more accessible and easier to understand. Through @omidoulacare, I also share practical birth education on labor, interventions, informed consent, provider communication, comfort measures, VBAC, postpartum recovery, and preparing for birth with confidence. My approach is warm, educational, culturally aware, and personalized. I’m not here to tell you what your birth should look like. I’m here to help you understand your choices, prepare for different possibilities, and feel more confident using your voice throughout your care. Let’s prepare for your birth together. 💜 📍 Broward + Miami-Dade, South Florida 📧 omidoulacare@gmail.com 📱 386-301-2567 📸 Instagram: @omidoulacare 🔗 Birth Prep, Free Resources + Consultations: https://stan.store/Omidoulacare

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ As a first-time mom, having Marisela’s support was incredibly helpful. She educated me on what to expect during birth, how to prepare, and provided information that helped me feel confident and ready for delivery. Thanks to her guidance, my birth experience was much smoother and far less overwhelming. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and supportive doula!

10 Stars out of 5! Alina was/is simply AMAZING!!!!! She is very caring with a sweet spirit yet stern when necessary. Alina was my doula (01/2025-05/2025) and she came with me to doctor appointments, was available 24/7 to answer and advise me as necessary. She wrote down a very detailed plan on how I wanted my delivery to go, however, quite a bit changed. Alina was there every step of the way, ensuring that I had everything I wanted and needed to be comfortable. She was my voice at the hospital when I had none. The staff tried to ignore my desires, she stood "our" ground and literally held me up. I've also signed a waiver to take home my placenta and the staff attempted to discard it, however Alina intervened and made sure my placenta was packaged correctly, so we can get it to the placenta encapsulation specialist. I literally can go on and on about her. Even during my postpartum care, Alina constantly checked in with me and gave me the support I didn't know I have needed. I would definitely recommend Alina's services to all.

I am the founder of MotheRetreat, a doula agency serving South Florida from Miami to Boca Raton and Tampa Bay. Our birth doulas, postpartum doulas and overnight newborn care specialists are certified, insured and background-checked, and each one went through our own evaluation before meeting a family. You work with one coordinated plan: a primary doula, a vetted backup arranged in advance and a coordinator who keeps the schedule steady if your baby comes early or a shift has to move. Services: birth doula support (prenatal visits, continuous labor support, a postpartum visit), daytime postpartum doula care, overnight newborn care, and private childbirth and newborn care classes at home or online in South Florida. I am a CAPPA-certified birth doula and childbirth educator, a certified postpartum doula (Doula Link) and a breastfeeding counselor (AHEC); I speak English and Russian. MotheRetreat care is eligible for reimbursement through Carrot and Maven employer benefits, and we prepare every invoice and form for you. We hold a 4.9 rating on Google from 190+ families.

I cannot recommend Inara Arauz enough! From the moment she became part of our journey, she brought so much warmth, compassion, and reassurance during both my birth and postpartum experience. As my birth doula, Inara was incredibly supportive, knowledgeable, and calming. She helped me feel informed, empowered, and cared for every step of the way. Her presence made such a meaningful difference during one of the most important moments of my life. As my postpartum doula, Inara continued to go above and beyond. She was so sweet, kind, and unbelievably patient with my baby girl. Watching the love and gentle care she showed my daughter gave me so much peace of mind and allowed me to rest knowing she was in the very best hands. She also offered encouragement, guidance, and support when I needed it most as a new mom. I also want to give a special thank you to Laila, who cared for us as my postpartum doula on several nights. She was equally kind, compassionate, and attentive, and I always felt confident leaving my baby girl in her care. Her calm presence and genuine love for babies made those nights so much easier for our family. Both Inara and Laila have hearts of gold, and I am forever grateful for everything they did for our family. If you’re looking for a birth or postpartum doula who is experienced, caring, and truly passionate about what they do, I wholeheartedly recommend them. They made such a positive impact on our lives, and we will always cherish the support they gave us during this special time.

Alejandra Latorre Popular: among the most-viewed doulas in Florida, last 60 days

I believe birth is a sacred, God-given gift—a natural, physiological process that reflects the original design of women and babies: women are capable of giving birth, and babies know how to be born. My name is Monica Alejandra Latorre, and I am deeply passionate about women’s wellness, birth, and motherhood. As a traditional, faith-based birth and postpartum doula, childbirth educator, newborn care specialist, and fertility awareness educator, I bring over nine years of experience walking alongside women and families through life’s most tender transitions. My vocation is to mother the mother: supporting women as they reconnect with their innate feminine wisdom, dignity, and God-given strength. I believe birth is a holy rite of passage, and it is a profound honor to serve women and their families in these sacred spaces. With deep reverence, I offer my presence, guidance, and resources so that each mother feels supported, informed, and confident as she moves through her unique journey. It is a privilege to be invited into a mother’s birth story, to hold space with tenderness, and to walk alongside her through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. My deepest hope is that every mother I serve finds her voice, trusts her intuition, and feels deeply connected to her body, her birth, and her baby.

Alejandra is fantastic! Extremely knowledgeable, kind, and warm. She was the perfect person to guide my husband and I during such an important and intimate chapter of our lives. Bilingual and didnt skip a beat. She knew the hospital, our OB, and got along great with the nurses - she was the perfect liaison for when we needed one. It was important for me to have someone of the Catholic faith guide me during such a life chaning moment and she was exactly what I was looking for. After interviewing over 15 Doulas, I knew Alejandra was the one the minute we finished our initial consultation. She exceeded our expectations and overdelivered. I most certainly will be using her services again for our next baby!

I can't explain how much having amber as my postpartum doula completely changed my postpartum experience (and my family's ). With my second child we decided to get a postpartum doula because after my first child I had a really difficult time. We now call her our angel. She anticipated what me and my family needed. Offering without imposing. Helping with anything we needed and more. Everyone in my family loves her and she became like part of our family. I can't recommend her enough. She's knowledgeable and kind. I trust her so much and I can't thank her enough.
