It was through my own experience I learned that great care for baby begins with great care for mom. It was that truth that turned my initial spark of passion into a life changing journey. I was hooked. Being a doula has been the most rewarding and satisfying job of my life (besides being a mommy). My research, training, and extended experience has shaped the way I approach doula care: I support informed birth choices and empowerment. In simple terms, I believe all moms should have the support to birth and care for their baby, their way. No pressure and no judgment. I’ve worked with moms who know exactly what they want and need my help to achieve that. I love that! I’m on your team all the way. Other times moms need help figuring out what they want, and I love that too! It allows me to offer them all of the information, research and education I have stored up so they can have that “Aha!” moment when they finally discover which approach resonates with them.
