Hi! I was born and raised in Peekskill, NY, and currently split my time between Westchester County and New Jersey. I’m a bi-racial birth worker, massage therapist and reiki practitioner ☺️ I’ve been a NYS licensed massage therapist for the past 7 years, and that work has helped me lay the foundation to how I like to approach my work as a birth worker. My background in child development birth - 3 naturally evolved into newborn as well as postpartum care. I've managed diverse households, from single-child homes to twins, building a fluid foundation in routine and safety. I am currently sharpening my skills by completing my Birth Doula coursework with DONA and obtained my Newborn Care Specialist Certification as well as Postpartum. I’m Victoria, a DONA International certified postpartum doula and lactation specialist dedicated to helping new parents find calm and confidence in their postpartum journey. Through NewEra Doula, I provide compassionate care, newborn guidance, and feeding support to ease the transition into parenthood. My mission is to nurture and empower families with the knowledge, reassurance, and hands-on support they need to thrive during this transformative time.

The doula meets with the birthing person and their support person to discuss their prenatal needs, birthing preferences, and birthing environment choices - home birth; birthing center; or hospital. The doula also providers referrals to the appropriate medical personnel (primary care, OBGYN, Midwife, specialists, CLC (certified lactation counselor, IBCLC ( International Board Certified Lactation Consultant), etc) when it is determined that any issue(s) are out of the scope of practice of the doula. The doula facilitates communication between the birthing person and the medical team, helping to ensure that the birthing person's preferences and concerns are heard and understood
