Hi there friend, I’m Amanda - a birth doula who finds deep joy in walking alongside mamas during labor and birth. I believe this work is sacred, God- given and I feel called to support women with calm, care, and prayerful presence. It’s an honor to hold space during such a powerful and beautiful time in your life.

We are so grateful to have had Amanda as our birth doula. From our very first meeting, we felt an immediate connection—she is incredibly kind, grounded, and easy to talk to. Her presence throughout our pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey brought us both comfort and confidence. Amanda’s approach beautifully integrated the spiritual side of birth, which deeply aligned with our own values. She was a calm, knowledgeable guide every step of the way—always approachable and full of wisdom. During labor, she helped me stay focused with her gentle reminders to breathe and shift my mindset. Her words of encouragement during contractions—reminding me that I was making progress and doing well—kept me going when I needed it most. One of the best things Amanda did for us was helping my husband feel confident in how he could support me. She gave him the tools and encouragement to really be there for me in ways that mattered, which made the whole experience feel like a true team effort. And when our baby surprised us by arriving three weeks early, Amanda showed up right away and was totally present, which brought us so much comfort and peace of mind. Our prenatal visits helped us build a strong connection with her, and I can honestly say Amanda is someone who makes you feel safe and seen no matter the situation. She calmed my fears about a natural birth and longer labor, and I truly believe my birth experience was as positive and empowering as it was because of her. If you're looking for a doula who is compassionate, deeply in tune, and wholly supportive, Amanda is the one. We cannot recommend her enough.

Whitney Holmquist

Hello everyone, My name is Whitney Holmquist, and I am an Infant Sleep Coach and founder of The Mama Sleep Coach. I’m based in Arizona and work with families nationwide. My passion for infant sleep coaching grew from my own journey with sleepless nights. The relief of finally bringing rest back into our home was truly life changing, and it inspired me to help other parents find that same peace. Through gentle, personalized guidance, I focus on understanding each baby’s unique needs and creating a plan that helps families reach calm, consistent days and 10–12 hour stretches of sleep at night.

Recent review

When we first reached out to Whitney, we were completely exhausted — running on fumes, anxious, and struggling as new parents with a baby who woke up every hour. We were overwhelmed and desperate for sleep, but more than that, we wanted to do what was best for our baby. From the very first conversation, Whitney came in with warmth, understanding, and expertise that immediately gave us hope. Within the first week of working with her, we started seeing incredible progress. By the end of the month, our baby was sleeping through the night — something we honestly didn’t think was possible. Whitney didn’t just give us a plan; she gave us the tools and confidence to support our baby’s sleep in a way that felt right for us. What truly sets Whitney apart is how deeply passionate and dedicated she is. She’s not just checking boxes — she genuinely cares about helping families reach their goals. Because she’s a mom of three herself, she approaches every situation with empathy, kindness, and real-life understanding. We always felt heard, supported, and guided every step of the way. Our plan was completely customized to our baby’s needs and our family’s comfort level. Whitney recognizes that every baby and family dynamic is different, and she builds a plan that truly fits — no cookie-cutter approach. Working with Whitney didn’t just change our baby’s sleep — it changed our entire family’s quality of life. We’re more rested, less anxious, and finally able to enjoy parenthood without the constant fog of exhaustion. We can’t recommend her enough to any parent who’s struggling with sleep. She is truly the best at what she does.

Hi, I'm Janelle Moore, labor and postpartum doula serving families east and west valley. I entered the world of birthwork early 2023 as a loved one of mine stepped into her motherhood journey. She entered strong, encouraged, prepared, and yet looking for support, a listening ear, advocacy, and someone to lean on in that process. Something inside her knew what I think every mom knows, that every couple deserves support, every couple deserves an advocate, and every couple deserves evidence based education surrounding their options and each decision that they may anticipate to make for their birth and little one in labor and delivery. In supporting her that day a new passion sparked inside me to see every mom supported, held, strengthened and empowered as they shine bringing life into the world. That spark has grown day by day since. I am passionate about evidence based education leading up to birth that will empower parents to make fully informed decisions as are best for their family. I am passionate about supporting first-time parents as they embark on a new journey, and I am passionate that birth should be a beautifully empowering experience in which mom is supported through and through, never alone, discovering in each moment the depth of strength that she's carried all along. If you've landed on this page and would like to learn more please don't hesitate to reach out. I look forward to an opportunity to meet you, to chat and to hear more of your heart for your birth, little one, and/or postpartum journey.

My husband and I were so glad to have had Janelle's support and guidance through the birth of our daughter. Janelle is very knowledgeable and kind and helped provide us with the information we needed to be able to feel confident in the birth plan we created. Additionally, she has such a kind voice that I knew would be a comfort through labor. My labor started in the evening and we had Janelle meet us at the hospital where she stayed with us all night through my un-medicated birth. We would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a doula, and we hope to use her services again in the future!

Before Delores became a certified doula, she helped me when my baby was born in a hotel room. I called Delores at about 2 o'clock in the morning. She came to my rescue and helped me with my delivery. I'm sure that experience played a role in her becoming a doula. When we went to the hospital, they were astonished. Delores has always been a women's woman who truly cares for women. Girl power. Delores is amazing! When she asked me to give her a review, I was more than glad to do it.

My name is Gosia (Gosha). I’m an independent Slavic traditional ‘grandmother” midwife – to be with a woman and for women. I developed and matured with other sisters and women into where I am today. My road was long and winding, but it brought me a gift of enormous experience as a woman, mother, and Midwife. I transformed from a CNM hospital midwife to a CPM midwife to finally be reborn as an independent midwife who is with a woman and connects intuitively, energetically, and spiritually with the surrounding world. I had the privilege of transforming on the Old and New Continent; I am deeply connected with my intuition, love, and women’s power to serve other women fully.

I am Certified and able to accept CARROT CLIENTS! I am a Postpartum Doula and INA Credentialed Newborn Care Specialist, specializing in Postpartum Nutrition and Perinatal Mental Health. I have over ten years of experience serving families in a direct, private setting. I provide non-judgmental emotional and physical support and evidence-based information and education, with a whole-family care approach. I have created a team of Newborn Care Specialists, Birth Doula’s, Postpartum Doula's, and CNA's that have expertise in infant development, breastfeeding, mental health, and postpartum nutrition. Collectively, we are able to provide whole-family support through the transformative postpartum period.

Recent review

When we hired Bryn on as a newborn care specialist, we had interviewed many other potential candidates. Many other candidates seemed more interested in how they thought things should be rather than working with us and incorporating our perspectives or preferences. Bryn was open, helpful and ready to offer advice as well as research things that we had questions on. Her top priority was always our daughter's health and wellbeing. She helped us transition from bassinet to crib perfectly. She was able to get us on a sleep schedule with the baby and adapt when a situation presented itself. We could say many more wonderful things, but I will end this by saying that she was an amazing help to our family. Our daughter is doing so well, even as we went into the 4 month sleep regression. I have no doubts that it is because of the foundation that was laid down in those first 3 months.

About Me Hi, I’m Alyssa, and I founded Sonoran Sunrise Newborn Care in 2024 to help families thrive in the weeks after their baby is born. I have been working with children in their homes since 2016, including those with complex behavioral and medical needs, and since 2022 I’ve specialized in caring for infants and toddlers. In 2024 I completed trainings with Newborn Care Solutions and Newborn IQ, and I’m also proud to hold advanced certification from the US Nanny Institute, earned in 2021. I’m continually expanding my education and experience so that I can provide the best care possible. My focus is on coaching parents in newborn care and helping babies establish healthy sleep. I am there to help guide parents and help them feel confident, as well as to support them through overnights so that they can be well-rested.

Recent review

Alyssa came into my life when I was suffering from severe PPA/PPD. My infant daughter had an incredibly hard first few months of life -- from tongue ties, to reflux, a formula shortage and eventually a feeding aversion. Alyssa was always so patient and gentle with her, on top of being a comforting presence to me as well. She was extremely resourceful and educated in guiding me to make informed decisions about my daughter's health and care. Alyssa is nurturing, soft and extremely detail-oriented. My daughter required quite a bit of specific care, including oral exercises, various medications, etc. She was always diligent and handled my daughter with as much love/delicacy as I would. I truly believe that she not only cared for my daughter, but me as well. As a FTM, I was extremely anxious and uninformed. She never made me feel judged and would go above and beyond if I ever had any specific requests or questions. I extended with Alyssa as much as I possibly could, but unfortunately have to move out of state. Any family who has the opportunity to work with her is insurmountably lucky.

I have spent over 25 years as an infant care RN, mostly in the NICU and am certified as a Low Risk Maternal-Infant care nurse. After some soul-searching about my true career passion, I have discovered that I am the most enthusiastic about helping mamas with breastfeeding. Breastfeeding is often depicted as a simple method of feeding your newborn. It is a natural process, but may not go smoothly at first. It is completely normal to have challenges in the beginning, but with the right kind of support those challenges can be overcome. It’s my goal to be just that right support!

Recent review

I can easily say I would have quit breastfeeding without Jeane's support! She helped me troubleshoot several issues we were having which led to a more comfortable latch and better transfer of milk! We were pros in no time. I can't say enough good things about her! She was professional, knowledgeable, and kind.

Hi Parent or Parents! I am so happy to introduce myself. My name is Tara, Lynn Townes and I have over 30 years of experience in working with newborns infants, and children. I am impassioned by providing quality care as a certified (NCS) newborn care specialist. Coupled with my extensive experience, I hold a masters’ degree in human development and a bachelors in child development. I am also a certified professional life coach with a forte in parent education regarding newborn care, and parenting as a whole. I also have extensive knowledge in developmental delays, and can scope them out very early on as I worked as a developmental therapist for many years. Moreover, I believe care for any human begins in the womb and once a child is born, they most certainly should be given every opportunity to be healthy, happy and loved . My philosophy is the whole child, which includes parental input and coaching . Parental input even for new parents is Paramount.. Lastly, I believe fostering activities that invoke supporting all stages and areas of development is something that begins immediately! ❤️😊
