The cost of a night nanny in Placentia, CA can be influenced by several factors:

  • Experience and Qualifications

Nannies with extensive experience, certifications (e.g., newborn care specialist), or specific training often charge higher rates.

  • Number of Babies

Caring for twins or multiples typically costs more than caring for a single baby due to the increased workload.

  • Hours and Duration

Rates may vary depending on the number of hours per night, the total number of nights required, and whether the arrangement is short-term or long-term.

  • Duties and Responsibilities

Additional responsibilities, such as bottle preparation, light housekeeping, or sleep training, can increase the cost.

  • Time of Year

Demand during peak times, like the holiday season, may drive prices higher.

  • Agency Fees

Hiring through an agency often includes placement fees or additional charges for their services, adding to the overall cost.

  • Overnight Rates vs. Hourly Rates

Some nannies charge a flat overnight rate, while others charge hourly, which can influence costs depending on the length of the shift.

When considering hiring a night nanny in Placentia, CA, it's advisable to research and interview several night nannies to find one who aligns with your preferences, needs, and budget. During consultations, you can discuss their specific services and pricing structure to ensure you have a clear understanding of what is included and the associated costs. This process will help you find a night nanny who meets your needs and fits within your budget.

First, I want to say, I never knew what a doula was or is. So I am writing this from the bottom of my heart to express my deepest gratitude for the incredible support, care, and guidance Nicole provided during my granddaughter's labor and delivery at the hospital. As a grandmother watching a loved one welcome a new baby, seeing her go through such an intense experience can bring a mix of worry and hope. My first time meeting or talking to Nicole was at the hospital. The moment she stepped into the room, she had a calming presence sbout her. When asked questions, she spoke with reassuring words, and expert gentle touch brought an immense sense of peace to our entire family. Nicole's anticipated her needs, advocated for her comfort, and held space for her with such profound grace, professionalism, and warmth. Nicole truly did a beautiful job, and watching her work was a blessing. Nicole helped make this momentous arrival a peaceful and empowering experience that we will always cherish. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your dedication, your compassionate heart, and the wonderful care you gave to my granddaughter. I’m a dedicated postpartum doula and proud mom of two boys, with a deep passion for supporting families during the early stages of parenthood. My journey working with children began in a Montessori setting, where I cared for little ones ranging from 6 weeks to 5 years old. That experience, along with years of babysitting, helped me develop a strong understanding of child development and a genuine love for nurturing young children. Before becoming a postpartum doula, I worked as an overnight nanny, supporting families through those tender and often exhausting newborn nights. It was during this time that I realized how meaningful it was to care not just for babies, but for parents as well. Wanting to provide more intentional, informed support, I pursued professional training to become a postpartum doula. Now, I’m honored to walk alongside families as they adjust to life with a new baby—offering compassionate care, practical guidance, and a calm, reassuring presence during this special transition.

Andrea is truly one of the most insightful doulas I could have asked for. She completely exceeded all of my expectations, from her knowledge and guidance with breastfeeding to how incredibly helpful she was throughout the night with my newborn. She also has such a warm, inviting energy that made me feel comfortable and supported from the start. I’m so grateful for her support and would absolutely book with her again!

It’s hard to put into words how grateful I am for Glo. As a first-time mom living far from much of my family, I was nervous about navigating the postpartum period, but after our very first night with Glo, I knew we had found someone incredibly special. Glo is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, reliable, gentle, and kind. She brought a sense of calm and confidence into our home during a time when everything felt new. She was always there to answer questions, talk through different approaches, and help us navigate each new stage with our daughter without ever making us feel like there was one “right” way to do things. She also went far beyond simply caring for our baby. Glo helped us set up systems that made our entire bottle prep, feeding, and sanitizing routine so much more efficient and organized. Whenever we needed additional support, she had an incredible network of trusted resources to direct us to, including a lactation consultant who ended up being invaluable to me. One of the things I appreciated most was how intentional she was about understanding our goals. Each week, she listened to what we wanted to work on—both in the immediate moment and more broadly with our daughter—and helped us turn those goals into clear, actionable plans. So many of the routines and systems she helped us establish have worked incredibly well for our family and given us confidence as new parents. More than anything, Glo gave me one of the greatest gifts I could have received as a new mother: confidence in my ability to be a mom. She never imposed her way of doing things; instead, she gave me the knowledge, support, and encouragement to trust my own instincts. She was endlessly supportive and brought such a gentle, reassuring presence into our home. When I look back on the time I became a mother, Glo will forever be a part of that memory. Her warmth, knowledge, patience, and support were more meaningful than I ever could have anticipated. Any family would be incredibly lucky to have her by their side, and I truly cannot recommend her enough.

Oh my God, I love Pearl! Every time I need to book an appointment, I look forward to seeing her. During my prenatal visits, she was always so supportive. Whenever I complained about back pain, she would give me a back rub that really helped. She also taught me breathing techniques and shared many helpful tips throughout my pregnancy. After my baby was born, Pearl continued to be an amazing support. She showed me how to bathe my baby and helped me feel more confident as a new mom. She would even watch my baby while I took a shower, ate a meal, or took care of personal things. I highly recommend Pearl to anyone looking for a caring, knowledgeable, and supportive doula. She truly goes above and beyond for her clients!

I honestly can't recommend Arielle enough!! She always made me feel like my birth was about me and what I wanted, never what anyone else thought it should look like. She took the time to explain my options and answer every question and gave me the confidence to advocate for myself that I really needed lol. There were a few times my doctors recommended things that I probably would have just gone along with because I didn't know I had other options or that it was okay to ask more questions. Having her there to be able to call and txt whenever made such a difference. She helped me understand my choices without ever telling me what to do, so every decision still felt like it was mine. Because of her I was able to have the quick unmedicated birth that my doctor said probably wasn't going to happen!! She always met me where I was, worked at my pace, and supported me every step of the way! I'm so grateful she was part of my birth my experience would have not been the same without her! She even provided support for my husband in the delivery room and told him to hold my leg which in the moment he did not want to do and now it's a highlight for him hes so grateful she was there too! Amazing personality you'll want to be best friends with her no problem!! She is an PHENOMENAL mama herself too!

I had such a wonderful experience working with Candice. From the very beginning, she was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. She answered every question I had with patience and made me feel completely comfortable during a time that can feel overwhelming for new moms. One of the things I appreciated most was that she came to my home. Being able to get help in my own environment made such a difference because she could see exactly how I was feeding, pumping, and positioning the baby in real life. It made the support feel much more practical and personalized. She was also extremely accessible and responsive. Whenever I had questions after our visit, she was available by text and always took the time to respond with thoughtful advice and reassurance. What I loved most was that she didn't just focus on me, she included my partner as well. She showed him helpful techniques and tips so he could support the process too, which made us feel like a team. We were struggling with latch/clicking sounds during feeding and thinking there was a possible tongue/lip tie and uncertain who to go to and how to go about getting it checked out. Candice gave us great recommendations for trusted specialists to follow up with. Having that guidance made navigating everything so much easier. I truly can't recommend her enough. Her kindness, knowledge, and ongoing support made a huge difference in our breastfeeding journey.

Hello and thank you for taking the time to look at my bio, my certifications are immense in incorporating everything that I’ve learned in my own life, though taking the time to be certified in newborn care specialist, sleep training and conditioning, lactating specialist, and Doula. On a more personal levelI love being outdoors, cooking and creating a safe and healthy environment through both creativity and knowledge. My life is also been deeply shaped by resilience. During Hurricane Katrina, while at a family reunion, my family suffered complete devastation losing eight homes. Despite this tragedy, I felt compelled to help. I was deputized by the Red Cross And remain in Louisiana for three months where I developed and lead a disaster assessment team specializing in logistics, a system still in use today. Strangely enough this experience is what first led me into caregiving a career where it is I have never felt more alive or purposeful. Were I do not hold a specific degree my education spans multiple international schools, including the American school in London, the American school in Hampstead. A suburb of London. I am one that’s practices, kindness, offers, love, guidance and embrace patience and tolerance, as mentioned above. I love teaching through art and making every day moments a learning experience. With young children, I narrate what I am doing, always asking permission and showing respect even with a newborn I will gently explain what it is. I am doing in every step. I believe communication and respect starts from the very beginning.
