Morgan Schauer

3 years of experience

Hi! I’m Morgan, a holistic doula based in Spring Hill, TN. With a passion for pregnancy, birth and postpartum support, I advocate for women to choose the path that resonates with them, blending traditional midwifery and free birth philosophies. Having personally experienced the enchantment of childbirth twice as a mother, I aspire to guide and empower other moms on their magical journey. At 25, a wife, and a mother of two boys (3 and 6 months), I bring a unique perspective to my practice. Balancing holistic approaches with an understanding of the essential role of western medical intervention, I ensure a supportive and diverse approach to each pregnancy. As a former hairstylist, I’ve transitioned my passion for nurturing to the realm of birth. Outside of doula work, you’ll find me indulging my Scorpio spirit, watercolor painting, enjoying music, and perhaps a bit too passionately savoring my coffee. Let’s embark on your birthing journey together, embracing the magic and empowerment it brings!

Morgan is such a kind, caring, beautiful soul, that will be an amazing support during the most important time of your life. She is intentional, proactive and attentive- she will surely be the best fit for all of your birthing needs. I have witnessed first hand how well Morgan reacts under pressure and I can say she is someone I would want in my corner while giving birth. As a mom, Morgan is experienced as she handles things with grace and has such a soothing presence. I think Morgan with Haven Birthing Co would be such a great choice as a doula for your birthing journey.

Jazlin Slater

Jazlin Slater

My journey into birth work began from a deep passion for supporting women through one of the most transformative seasons of their lives. Becoming a mother changed me in the best way possible, and having good support by my side made that experience even more meaningful. Through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, I learned firsthand how important it is for mothers to feel supported, informed, and deeply cared for. That experience ignited a passion in me to walk alongside other women and families during such a sacred and life-changing time. I believe birth is powerful, deeply personal, and instinctual. My philosophy is centered around offering compassionate, evidence-based support while honoring each family’s unique wishes and choices. I believe God intentionally designed birth with love and purpose. While every birth journey is unique, I believe women’s bodies were beautifully created for this process. My goal is to support mothers in feeling informed, empowered, and confident in the incredible strength and intuition God has given them. I believe every mother deserves to feel empowered, heard, and supported without judgment — whether that looks like an unmedicated birth, epidural, cesarean birth, breastfeeding support, or simply having someone by your side who makes you feel safe and cared for. My personal experiences with pregnancy, birth, and motherhood have shaped the way I support families. Motherhood has stretched me, softened me, and strengthened me in ways I never expected. It has deepened my empathy and helped me understand both the beauty and challenges that come with welcoming a baby and navigating postpartum life. I also openly share part of my story that has deeply shaped who I am today. I have a T-12 spinal cord injury. While this injury is part of my journey, it does not limit me from doing this work. If anything, it has empowered me to pursue it even more wholeheartedly. I am fully capable of offering hands-on support and care to the families I serve. While I do have a few small limitations, they are very minor, and I am always happy to have open conversations about them. More than anything, my injury has strengthened my resilience, compassion, and perspective on life. I truly believe God has used every part of my journey, both the beautiful and the difficult. It has molded me into the woman I am today. Through challenges, He has grown my faith, deepened my empathy, and given me a greater understanding of perseverance, grace, and the importance of support during vulnerable seasons of life. Those experiences are something I carry with me into every birth and postpartum space I enter. After moving to Tennessee, I felt deeply called to serve families within my community. My goal is to create a calm, supportive, and judgment-free space where parents feel confident, educated, and cared for throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. It is truly an honor to support families as they welcome their baibies and step into this new season of life.

Having Jazlin as my doula throughout pregnancy, labor, and postpartum was one of the biggest blessings during such a special season of our lives. From the very beginning, she made my husband and I feel incredibly supported, informed, and cared for every step of the way. She consistently checked in on me throughout my pregnancy, always making sure we felt prepared for what to expect before, during, and after labor and delivery. No question was ever too small — she was always just a phone call or text away, and her presence brought so much peace and reassurance during moments that could have otherwise felt overwhelming. She even took the time to do house visits with us to help prepare for labor and postpartum, which made such a difference in helping us feel confident and ready. You can truly tell she cares deeply about the families she serves and sees this work as more than just a job. One of the things I appreciated most was that she is a faith-based doula. As Christians, having someone who could not only support us physically and emotionally, but also spiritually, was incredibly important to us. She prayed with us, encouraged us, and created such a comforting and peaceful environment throughout the entire experience. I genuinely cannot recommend her enough. If you are looking for a doula who is compassionate, knowledgeable, intentional, supportive, and faith-centered, she is truly amazing. We are so grateful for her and will forever cherish the role she played in bringing our daughter into the world.

Emily has been an absolute blessing as our newborn’s night nurse and doula. Her tender, caring and reassuring nature gave us complete peace of mind during this special but exhausting time. Emily is incredibly accommodating, tailoring her care to meet both our baby’s and family’s needs, and her calming presence brought comfort to our entire household. Mrs. Jorie was such a big help to me during my postpartum aftercare after having my daughter. She made me feel supported and cared for during a time that can honestly feel overwhelming. She was patient, kind, and easy to talk to, which made a big difference for me. I appreciated her for being there for support and helping me through that transition after birth. If you need any help with your family - I'm your girl! I have over a decade of experience ranging from babysitting, full time nannying, household management, personal assisting, and pet care (dogs, cats, fish, chickens, horses, bunnies - you name it!) to errands, chores, transportation to/from activities, organization, cleaning, meal prep and more. I nannied and assisted HNW families in the Savannah GA area for 5 years during college. During this time I had a lot of early mornings and late nights caring for kiddos and pets, completing random jobs around the house and running lots of errands for my clients. After moving to Nashville 4 years ago, I continued caring for and assisting HNW families in Middle TN alongside my full time job. I was determined to grow my network of families like I did in Savannah and it worked! I've found myself doing kitchen and closet organization, caring for special needs animals and children, helping with potty training, sleep training, introduction to solids, breastfeeding and everything in between. In high school I also worked as a teacher at a Montessori-type day care and preschool in the Greater NYC area. While there I worked primarily with ages 1-2yrs and completed multiple trainings including: CPR, First Aid, Child Development, Baby Sign Language, and Behavior Management. Over the years I've worked events, birthday parties, summer camps, served in kid's ministry, led a middle school small group and served as a Young Life leader. And on top of it ALL I have the privilege of loving on my newborn nephew and helping my special needs father when I visit home & taking care of my dog, Theo, for almost a year now! I'm 27yrs old with 12 years of experience in family care & 4 years of experience in production management. I have a Bachelor's degree, safe transportation, and NEVER partake in smoking or recreational drugs of any kind. I've been described as organized, clean (maybe a little Type A), energetic, personable, and detail oriented. I can't wait to learn more about you and build a special bond with another amazing family!

Emily cared for our two children, ages 1 and 4, for four years while attending our local university, and during that time she became so much more than a babysitter — she became an important part of our family. From the very beginning, Emily demonstrated an incredible level of responsibility, patience, and attentiveness. We always felt completely confident leaving our children in her care, knowing they were safe, loved, and well cared for. Emily is capable, dependable, and incredibly thoughtful in every aspect of caregiving. She safely provided transportation for our children when needed, prepared meals, and even helped care for our pets. She handled every responsibility with maturity and attention to detail, making our busy family life run more smoothly. What truly sets Emily apart is the energy and warmth she brings into a home. She creates a fun, supportive, and safe environment while still maintaining structure and reliability. She brought so much joy to our children’s lives and gave us tremendous peace of mind as parents. Our children absolutely adore her, and the bond they formed with her is something we will always cherish. Emily’s kindness, reliability, and natural ability with children are truly exceptional. Any family would be incredibly fortunate to have her caring for their children. She will forever hold a special place in our hearts and remain a part of our family.

As a postpartum doula, I, Jana, am dedicated to helping new parents get much-needed restful nights while caring for their newborns. With genuine passion, I form meaningful connections and find joy in witnessing parents experience rejuvenating sleep, empowering them for the day ahead. My journey as a doula began after realizing my calling extended beyond the classroom, where I worked as an infant teacher for years. I provide emotional and physical support, tailoring my approach to each family. Operating in Franklin and nearby areas, my philosophy centers around nonjudgmental assistance, leaving families with a deep sense of worth and the belief that they can overcome challenges. By reducing stress, I enable mothers to prioritize self-care and bonding with their baby. Think of sleep as a valuable resource that needs to be replenished to help you function at your best. I am here to provide the assistance you need

I can’t say enough positive things about Jana. Both of my children adore her. She is passionate about children and it shows in the way she cares for them. She was my postpartum doula after the birth of my son and I can’t imagine having gone through that experience without her!!!! It’s incredibly important to get rest during that time but for me it was even more important to have peace of mind that whomever was taking care of my son at night was the best of the best! So grateful for Jana!
