As a first-time mom and someone who really does not function well without sleep, postpartum was probably what I was most nervous about... (especially after having a necessary C-section!) I interviewed a couple different postpartum care teams and found the Newborn Dream Team immediately made me feel at ease. The first few weeks after giving birth were honestly a lot. Between recovering from my C-section, figuring out life with a newborn, and not having family in town, I was much more anxious and overwhelmed than I expected to be. I cannot thank Danielle, Pamela and Abbey enough for being there for us during that time. They were so helpful in those early weeks, not only with the baby, but with helping us figure out what worked for our family. They answered all of my questions, gave me reassurance when I needed it, and helped me feel more relaxed and confident as a new mom without ever making me feel like I didn't know what I was doing. I was breastfeeding, and they were so supportive of that while also helping us introduce a bottle. They always let us lead with what we felt most comfortable with and never made us feel pressured to do things a certain way. And honestly, being able to get some much-needed sleep knowing our baby was safe and in such good hands was *priceless.* They also helped us establish a really great routine and healthy sleep habits, and our baby was sleeping through the night by five weeks! We will miss Danielle and Pamela SO much, but it makes me so happy knowing they're always in our corner. I truly cannot recommend Newborn Dream Team enough. They made those first few weeks so much easier and more enjoyable, and I am so grateful we found them. 🤍

I'm Taylor, your dedicated birth and postpartum doula. As a native of Dallas, my life's journey has been a blend of enriching experiences and fulfilling adventures, all of which have guided me to my true calling—supporting new families during the prenatal & postpartum period. Right after college, I embarked on a transformative adventure to Thailand. Living and teaching in this beautiful country was an eye-opening experience that profoundly shaped my worldview. It was here that I found my inspiration to live freely, purposefully, and in service to others. In my everyday life, I love juicing and cooking. When I’m not assisting families, you can find me hiking the trails around Dallas, reading or traveling. I also cherish going to the movies. Pregnancy and postpartum are crucial for both the baby and the parents. As your birth/postpartum doula, my goal is to provide unwavering support, compassionate care, and practical guidance. Drawing from my holistic experiences and nurturing spirit, I am here to ensure that this transition is as smooth and joyful as possible for you and your family. I look forward to working with you and supporting your family during this precious time. Together, we can create a nurturing environment where both you and your baby can thrive.

Taylor was such a light during my journey as a first time mom. Her kindness and care for others radiates out of her. I found in her a place of support as we discussed everything from breastfeeding to the return of my cycles. We also trusted her with the care of our sweet baby, whom she tenderly watched over. We are so grateful for Taylor!

First, as a sister and a friend, then as a mother myself, I have seen the medical system sew fear and doubt into women regarding their body's capability to achieve what it was intended to. The truth is, childbirth is both natural and miraculous. I believe that every woman has the right to decide what interventions she wants to use in childbirth without the use of fear, but instead through true informed consent. I continue learning daily how best to help each new mama, both through lived experiences and through research, and will gladly share my knowledge. I also believe that every woman should be supported through the most vulnerable and powerful moment of her life. In a system that pushes women away from their natural state, I am here to be that calming support and fierce advocate.

I am SO grateful to Barbara! She was a trusted guide and resource from the moment she joined my birth team. Barbara advocated for me throughout my hospital birth labor and I ended up with the best birth experience. Barbara's encouragement and her hands-on assistance during delivery gave me the birth experience I had truly prayed for. Barbara provided me and husband confidence and peace of mind throughout my pregnancy and during labor. Barbara literally held me up during the pushing phase! She provided security to me in her advocacy. Barbara empowered me throughout my pregnancy and birth. To have Barbara with you during your pregnancy and birth is truly a gift. I am forever grateful for Barbara. If I am blessed with another pregnancy, I will be asking Barbara to be my doula again. I am full of gratitude for everything Barbara did for me and my family.

I was so nervous about hiring a night nanny, especially with our 7 week old, but Monique immediately made me feel comfortable and gave me complete peace of mind that I could trust her with our baby. She is incredibly attentive and thorough, providing a detailed report of every feeding, pee, poop, and anything else that happened throughout the night, while also making sure our baby was comfortable, happy, and well cared for. LaDereka was and has continued to be our emotional and healthcare question support through pregnancy as a teacher (daddy boot camp), doula and newborn care specialist. She was key to helping us understand our options and what to expect when my pregnancy went from normal and healthy to a diagnosis of gestational hypertension with bed rest at 34 weeks. LaDereka helped us rewrite our birth preferences to accommodate an induction at 37 weeks and led us through the different interventions and natural options we could try before agreeing to an intervention. LaDereka remained by our side through out the labor process as a trusted guide and second opinion with which to weigh the nurse and doctor’s suggestions and feedback. It was great to be able to ask questions and understand the process even when our nurse was attending to other patients. Although we ended up delivering our happy and healthy baby girl via caesarean, I know we tried everything we could have for a natural birth. As our newborn care specialist LaDereka was there on night 1 to ease our transition from hospital to home. Dad is getting to sleep through the night and takes over when her shift ends in the morning and mom is enjoying 8+ hours of sleep each night (with pumping mixed in!). Not only has LaDereka’s care of our newborn allowed us to prioritize sleep and my recovery, she’s a wonderful resource for lactation and all things baby care.

I have hired Briawna as my postpartum doula. She did an amazing job. She is very sincere and helpful. ✨🙌 Very compassionate and empathetic person. ❤️🌷. She helped me in taking care of my baby. Best part is you dont have to say anything to her everytime. Just say her once and she will follow it everytime.

— Alex K., review of Briawna Pertile September 2026

It is my pleasure to recommend Janis Wilbert. She is a caring, dependable, and genuinely kind person who quickly became someone my family and I could fully trust when we needed support caring for our newborn twins. Janis cared for my twin babies, a boy and a girl, during their first few months of life. Those early weeks were both joyful and overwhelming, and her calm, steady presence made a meaningful difference in our home. She consistently reassured us that our babies were safe, loved, and well cared for. She provided valuable support with feeding routines, including alternating breastfeeding and pumping, and was especially helpful during challenges such as engorgement and nipple pain. She also helped me stay consistent with pumping and tracking output, always offering patient and encouraging support. Janis also helped establish healthy sleep routines for both babies, remaining attentive to their individual needs and rhythms. Her overnight and extended care allowed us to rest and recover, knowing our children were in capable and compassionate hands. What stood out most was the genuine care she showed. She treated our babies with warmth, gentleness, and affection, never as just part of a job. Her presence brought comfort and reassurance during a demanding time, and I always felt completely at ease leaving my children in her care. Janis became an important part of our family during those early months, and I am deeply grateful for her support. I highly recommend her to any family seeking someone who is trustworthy, responsible, compassionate, and truly devoted to the well-being of children.

— Kari L., review of Janis Wilbert September 2026

I cannot recommend Janis Wilbert highly enough. As a first-time mother, I had no idea how complicated, exhausting, and emotional breastfeeding could be. What I quickly learned was that feeding my newborn was essentially a full-time job, that I was not prepared for! Janis was an incredible source of support during those early months. Janis never made me feel pressured to feed my baby one particular way. Instead, she supported our combo-feeding plan of nursing, pumping, and formula and helped me find a routine that worked for both my baby and me. Her encouragement and reassurance made such a difference during a time when I often felt like I had no idea what I was doing. She also helped identify that my son had both a tongue tie and lip tie and recommended a trusted pediatric dentist for us to see. Having someone recognize those issues and help us know what steps to take next was incredibly valuable. Our son also struggled with reflux, which added another layer of stress to feeding. Janis taught us paced bottle feeding and provided guidance on positioning and soothing techniques to help with his reflux. She was also there to support us through the transition in feeding, including overnight care, which gave me the opportunity to get some much-needed rest and confidence. What I appreciated most about Janis was that she cared for the whole family—not just the baby. She brought knowledge, patience, reassurance, and calm to a time that felt anything but calm. She helped me feel less alone and much more confident as a new mother. I will always be grateful for the support Janis gave our family during those first precious—and very exhausting—weeks with our son. She was truly a lifesaver, and I would wholeheartedly recommend her to any new parent.
