My approach is simple: I meet you where you are. I take the time to understand you and your family's priorities for your birth, and I offer as much (or as little!) education as you'd like. Sending along resources and recommendations tailored to what you need, when you need it. Getting ready together I offer a birth planning session where we walk through what to expect in early labor, once you arrive at your place of birth, and the options available to you during admission, pushing, newborn care, and the third stage. Depending on your desires, I can help advocate when something isn't standard practice, and I'll be right there watching for your preferences on the big day.
