As I have studied and learned more, I have made changes to my life and the way I do things. I became a Bradley teacher and started Doula Training and continued to expand my education shortly after. It fit nicely with my husband's Bowen Therapy, so we decided to work together helping others with all the things we struggled with and needed help with as parents. Hello! I’m Gabrielle and I am a birth and postpartum doula. I was born and raised in a small town near Los Angeles, California and moved to Texas to open the first few In N Out Burgers in San Antonio. I met my husband and moved back to California to be more close to my family, but missed Texas- so we are back again! I have a husband, 2 kids, dogs, cats, and chickens. We are very active with our local shelter and almost always have a foster animal, or 3. For 2 years we lived in an RV traveling to 12 states, and we would love to see more. I homeschool my children, and in my free time I love to travel, explore nature, listen to music, and catch up on TV. I have a bachelor’s degree and I am currently going to school to become a Registered Nurse. After my second child, I realized how important it is to have a village. I believe if I had a postpartum doula, my fourth trimester would have been completely different. There are so many women that don’t have a good support system, even though everyone deserves one. Being able to help my family members and friends who were postpartum has been such a rewarding experience; it led me to seek out formal training in doula work so I could make a career out of helping people. I am a planner and love doing research. Even though birth is very unpredictable, I love being able to inform parents of their options, advocate for them, and be the calm in the storm. I have experience in creating birth plans, different positions to help labor progress, postpartum planning, newborn care, and breastfeeding.

We provide all you need to comfortably bring your baby into the world. The birth center midwives provide all of your prenatal care appointments, help you during labor and birth, and continue care for six weeks for you and baby. When you come to the birth center in labor, the deep soaking tubs help you relax. You can also choose to labor on one of the birthing stools, in a yoga sling, or on one of our exercise balls. Each birth suite has color changing lights, smart tvs, smart speakers, and oil diffusers to create a calm birth environment.

My youngest two children, are almost 24-months apart but are often mistaken as twins due to my middle child’s short stature and complex medical needs. As an educator, medical momma, and life-long learner I have made it my mission to be a resource in the community for those who need love and support. Hiking, Cooking/Baking and Creating art in various forms and helping others are my love languages! My greatest glimmer (sparkles for joy) are Plants! My name is Allie Contreras. I am an army Brat, I was born in Germany and raised in the south and El Paso, TX. I have been a certified Doula since 2022. I am married to my best friend, he is my person, and truly understands and supports our family. We have two amazing kids Evelyn (9) and Logan (6). They are my reason for being and keep me going in life. My hobbies are going to the gym and listening to podcasts and books. I also started Midwifery school May 2023! I love women's health and learning all that I can about it! I started my journey with birth work in 2007 after watching the Business of Being Born. After two unmedicated births, one home birth myself, my love of birth continued to grow. My midwife and doula showed me what it was to truly mother and mother myself. I overcame Postpartum Anxiety, and looked into what a Doula was and what role they played in the birth team. When my father died in October 2021, I realized how much we truly need to cherish life and to follow our passions. I had been a Cosmetologist and Esthetician for 10 years and finally took the leap into birth work! It has been joyous and eye opening. I truly feel called to this work. I feel happiest serving others, and I am very passionate about serving LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC families. I want to emotionally support, because I was not given that. I am also a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist and I’m studying for my board certification as a lactation consultant. I have a husband, 3 kids, one cat (who we named Albus Dumbledore because of his white beard), and an Aussiedoodle named Zoey. If I’m not working or hanging out with my family, you’ll find me listening to podcasts and audiobooks, practicing pottery, watching reality TV, or doing yoga. I'm a mom of 4 & Nana of 1, married to my soulmate for almost 24 years. Proud to be an Air Force veteran, I was Active duty when my first was born. Her birth was eye opening... and the reason I sought out different options for my second birth. My second was the first of 3 redeeming and beautiful home births, and that experience is what ignited my passion for birth. I wanted to be a midwife for several years but that wasn't in the cards. It was years later, shortly after making the move to pursue photography, that I found my passion in birth photography. From there, my desire to support and encourage birthing families only grew, and I sought out certification as a doula. Obviously I love being there when a sweet little soul makes its debut. It's more than that though! As a birth worker, I have the honor and privilege of witnessing transformations. That realization that they are able, that they are doing it, that they are about to meet their long awaited babies... that they CAN do hard things. That moment is worth the sleepless nights, sore muscles, and changed plans. That moment of empowerment and transformation brings a tear to my eyes. It never gets old. Hello! My name is Serena, and I am a labor doula, placenta encapsulator, and postpartum doula! I have 3 dogs and 2 cats, and if I’m not working I'm usually with them watching TV. My all time favorite shows are Doctor Who and New Girl, though I’m sure you’d have a hard time finding a show I haven’t seen! I also enjoy reading, hiking, playing games, and spending time with my family. My first step into the doula world was becoming a Postpartum doula. This felt very natural to me, as I have been working in childcare for what feels like my whole life! I started off babysitting for my siblings and my parent’s friends when I was younger, became a teacher in the infant room of a daycare at 18, and a postpartum doula at 21. I decided to step into this field because I love helping families adjust to having a new little one! Supporting labor and delivery was a natural transition as I began working as a doula and stepping more and more into the birthing world. Labor and delivery is truly one of the most beautiful and fascinating events I’ve had the honor of witnessing, and I knew instantly that this is exactly what I was meant to do. That’s such a hard question to answer! For postpartum work, I’d have to say it’s the moments when something finally clicks into place. There's always some trial and error with each baby since they each have their own preferences and personalities, but I love the moments when you figure out how they like to be burped, the quickest way to get them sleeping, which formula works for them, and everything in between! I know it's not possible for me to fix every problem that arises, but it always such a relief when I can help with one. Adjusting to this new chapter of your life can be such a chaotic time, and I truly believe it takes a village! For birth work, my favorite part is seeing birthing people reach deep inside themselves and finding strength they never knew they had. The absolute relief and joy I can see on their face as they hold their little one in their arms for the first time always brings tears to my eyes.

As a former Air Force spouse, I have traveled and lived in some of the most beautiful places in the United States. My family and I moved to San Antonio in 2019. I enjoy spending my free time with my 3 wonderful kiddos, big fur baby goldendoodle, and husband. I love to read, hike, travel, and bake. As a former military spouse, I realized the resources and support available to those families were limited. I gave birth to my first baby far away from my friends/family in a new place. I suffered from PPD/PPA and a few years later as a part of my healing, I decided to look into how I could help others like me. I switched my career field and became a doula -- immediately I knew I was doing the work that healed my soul and would help so many others.
