Jenny Palomo

13 years of experience

Hello! My name is Jenny Palomo, and I am a compassionate, dependable, and family-oriented caregiver with several years of experience supporting children and families. As a mother of five children, I bring not only professional caregiving experience but also extensive hands-on personal experience caring for children through every stage of development. My journey as a mother has taught me patience, flexibility, empathy, and the importance of creating a safe and nurturing environment where children and families can thrive. I have experience working closely with children of different ages and developmental needs, including children with autism and ADHD. Through my caregiving and professional experiences, I have developed strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a calm, supportive approach to helping families navigate their daily routines and challenges. I am bilingual in English and Spanish, allowing me to effectively communicate with and support a diverse range of families. My philosophy is to meet families where they are, offering compassionate, respectful, and nonjudgmental support. I believe every parent deserves encouragement, understanding, and reliable care during both the joyful and challenging seasons of parenthood. My goal is to help families feel supported, confident, and cared for while providing dependable assistance tailored to their unique needs.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Jenny was such a blessing to our family. She helped care for my two youngest children from the time they were newborns and was also involved in caring for my oldest child since the toddler years. Throughout the years, she has always been patient, loving, and dependable. One thing that always stood out was how naturally she taught and guided the children. She took the time to help them learn, encouraged them with kindness, and always remained patient and understanding. My children loved being around her and felt safe and comfortable in her care. She consistently went above and beyond for our family and was always willing to help whenever needed. I would highly recommend Jenny to any family looking for someone trustworthy, nurturing, patient, and genuinely caring.

We truly cannot put into words what Rosalie meant to our family during those early newborn weeks. She came into our lives at a time that felt overwhelming, emotional, and exhausting, and somehow brought a sense of calm, confidence, and steadiness that we didn’t know we needed so deeply. From the very beginning, we trusted her completely. The way she cared for our baby was so gentle, intuitive, and full of love, it felt like he was safe with someone who truly saw him. She didn’t just help us get through the nights, she helped us become parents. She guided us through feeding challenges, soothed him through the hardest moments, and taught us how to better understand and care for him. Her presence made everything feel more manageable. We were counting down the minutes until she would come. She was also incredibly intuitive when it came to me. She could sense when I was feeling overwhelmed or unsure and always met me with reassurance and guidance. Whether it was encouraging me to call the pediatrician when something didn’t feel right or simply reminding me to trust myself, she supported me in a way that went far beyond just caring for our baby. Saying goodbye to her was incredibly hard. We genuinely had to brace ourselves for it that entire week. There is something so special, and honestly emotional, about watching someone love and care for your baby the way Rosalie did. It’s not something you forget. We are forever grateful for her. She made one of the most vulnerable seasons of our lives feel supported, safe, and even beautiful in moments. Any family would be beyond lucky to have her, and we will always hold her in such a special place in our hearts.

Laci Mattson

Laci Mattson

My journey to becoming a mother was not easy. I had two very different and difficult births that taught me a lot about myself and the challenges of childbirth. My first birth was a long and exhausting labor that ended in an emergency cesarean. I felt scared, helpless, and disappointed that I couldn’t have the natural birth I wanted. My second birth was a planned cesarian, I felt unprepared, anxious, and overwhelmed by the intensity of the experience and felt guilty for not trying to deliver naturally. Both of my births left me feeling traumatized and in need of healing. These experiences made me realize that there is a gap in the traditional healthcare system when it comes to supporting mothers during birth. I felt that I didn’t get enough information, education, or emotional support from my providers, and that I had to advocate for myself and my baby. I decided to become a doula to fill that gap and to help other mothers have a better birth experience. As a doula, I offer personalized and continuous support to mothers before, during, and after birth. I help them prepare for their birth, cope with their pain, communicate with their providers, and celebrate their achievements. I want every mother to feel empowered, respected, and joyful during their birth.

Doula Laci is an amazing doula for all birthing people regardless of birth plan! Many other doulas I’ve met have pushed an exclusively “natural” birth plan but that doesn’t work for all bodies or families. Laci is amazing, understanding of multiple birth experiences and needs, and a deeply empathetic individual. You couldn’t find a better doula for your birth.

🌟 Hi, I'm Jessica, Your Family Wellness Guide! 🌟 My journey as a family coach is deeply rooted in my own experiences and beliefs. Having faced the devastating impact of suicide, including the loss of my dear friend Viktoria when she was just 13, I understand firsthand the importance of fostering resilience, understanding, and meaningful connections within families. Growing up, I struggled with depression and adversity. These challenges have shaped my perspective and fueled my passion for supporting families in their own journeys. I know from personal experience the critical role that support, empathy, and effective communication play in promoting mental health and well-being within families. My approach as a family coach is guided by empathy and authenticity. I provide a safe and supportive space for families to explore their challenges, celebrate their strengths, and unlock their full potential. I understand that every family is unique, and I take a collaborative and individualized approach to coaching, tailoring my guidance to meet the specific needs and goals of each family. Rather than offering quick fixes or one-size-fits-all solutions, I empower families with the tools, insights, and strategies they need to cultivate lasting change from within. By fostering self-awareness, resilience, and effective communication skills, I equip families with the resources to navigate challenges with confidence and grace. I truly don’t even know where to begin because words don’t feel adequate to describe what Nicole has meant to our family. From the very beginning of my pregnancy through labor, birth, and now postpartum, she has been there every step of the way. She checked in on me constantly, always making sure I was okay physically and emotionally. She wasn’t just someone I hired—she became family. At no point did our relationship ever feel like a business transaction. It felt deeply personal, genuine, and full of love and care. I honestly don’t know how she’s able to be so available, but somehow she’s always just one text or phone call away. No matter what came up, she always had a resource, solution, or piece of guidance. Whether it was prenatal exercises (which actually helped turn my baby from a malposition less than 2 weeks before delivery!), postpartum questions, breastfeeding support, emotional encouragement, or simply someone to talk to, she always knew exactly what I needed. She also helped me through so many stressful life events that weren’t even pregnancy-related. She offered wisdom through interpersonal situations, helped me process emotions, and was a steady source of support during one of the biggest seasons of my life. She truly says, “You’ve got me for life,” and after experiencing her care firsthand, I believe she means every word. Nicole has such a special gift for empowering moms. She created a birth plan that respected every one of my personal wishes. During my high-risk pregnancy, she helped me advocate for myself and even advocated alongside me in the hospital. She never pressured me into making any decisions, never made me feel judged, and always presented information in a way that helped me make confident, informed choices about my own care. Her knowledge of the Kaiser system was invaluable. She was incredibly professional while also being warm and personable. She communicated seamlessly with the nurses and doctors, knew how to navigate the hospital environment, and helped make what could have been an overwhelming experience feel manageable. Everything up to that point had shown me she was an exceptional doula, but watching her during labor showed me why she was born to do this work. Labor itself is where Nicole became absolutely priceless. My contractions started around 3:00 in the morning, and from that moment on, Nicole was right there with me—even before we left for the hospital. We stayed in constant communication by phone and text while she timed my contractions through an app, talked me through each wave, answered my questions, and helped me determine when it was finally time to head to Kaiser. We arrived at the hospital around 7:00 AM, and she arrived just minutes later, ready to jump in and support us. When my contractions became incredibly intense, I genuinely don’t know how I would have gotten through the pain—or honestly, the entire labor experience—without her. While I was crying through contractions, she remained calm and grounded. She adjusted the lighting to create a peaceful environment, coached my breathing, used comfort techniques to help manage my pain, and stayed completely focused on helping me cope until I was finally able to receive my epidural. She also communicated my needs to the hospital staff and helped advocate for quicker pain relief when I needed it most. Having someone so calm and compassionate by my side made all the difference. In the middle of one of the hardest days of my life, she became my calm. From that point on, she stayed with us the entire day and didn’t leave until nearly 11:00 PM, after I had finally been transferred to my postpartum room—and only after making sure I was already scheduled with a lactation consultant. That’s the level of care she provides. She doesn’t just show up for the birth; she walks with you through every step until she knows you’re truly taken care of. Everything she recommended throughout my pregnancy helped prepare me for labor. Her advice was practical, evidence-based, and incredibly reassuring. I truly felt like I could trust her. All I had to do was listen, and she helped make the entire process go as smoothly as possible. Even now, she continues to support me through postpartum with the same compassion, encouragement, and availability she’s shown from the beginning. I genuinely feel like I’ve gained a close friend and another member of our family. Nicole has the right heart for this work. Not everyone can be a doula, but this is absolutely her calling. She has a rare gift for caring for women and families during one of the most vulnerable seasons of their lives, and it shows in everything she does. She is incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, professional, and selfless. I could honestly go on and on. If you’re wondering whether hiring a doula is worth it, let me tell you this: you don’t know what you need from a doula—but Nicole does. She anticipates needs you didn’t even know you had, and once you’ve experienced that kind of support, you’ll wonder how anyone ever gives birth without one. I fully plan to continue using her services even after my insurance-covered visits are over because her care is simply priceless. There are very few investments you’ll make during pregnancy that have this kind of impact, and I can say without hesitation that she is worth every penny. I believe God brought Nicole into our lives for a reason, and I will always be grateful that He did. You will not regret choosing Nicole.
