My name is Mary Harder, and my passion is to serve families during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I have a deep commitment to creating positive birth experiences by empowering families through education, informed decision making, advocacy, and compassionate care. My journey as a birth worker began in 2017 where I attended the National College of Midwifery in Davao City, The Philippines. Working in a small birth centre, I was privileged to attend 100+ births in 2.5 years. My time there fully cemented my passion in caring for women and families through the most transformative time in life. In 2023, I gave birth to my first daughter. Experiencing my own birth further made me realize the profound impact that compassionate care and advocacy has on a birth experience. These experiences have equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of the physical, emotional, and informational needs of expecting parents. My commitment is to provide unwavering support through the childbirth journey. I honor and respect each family’s unique journey, supporting their choices and providing evidence based information to help them make informed decisions. I care deeply to create a safe and nurturing environment where families feel empowered, supported, and heard.
