Diane Nader Giresi

6 years of experience

Hi I'm Diane Nader Giresi, I'm a DONA Trained and Certified Postpartum Doula, a Certified Lactation Counselor and a Pre/Postnatal Fitness Trainer. I realized with the birth of my first child, that I had to include a wellness plan for my overall wellbeing. I believe we go through different journeys throughout our lives and with each journey, we face challenges. My goal as a postpartum doula, is to provide my clients with individualized non-judgmental support that encourages them on their journey as new parents. Continuing education is always at the forefront, so I can provide the most up to date evidence based research and resources. I attend many workshops and conferences on the ever changing protocols on tongue-tie and oral restrictions. I provide extensive lactation support if choosing to breastfeed. I help develop strategies for success, back to work plans, weaning, pumping, and flange fitting. In addition to newborn care, understanding cues, and newborn sleep patterns. Support looks different for each family. I listen to your needs and together we form a plan that serves your new family unit.

Recent review

Being in postpartum has made a lot of things more difficult but Diane's help has made one of those hardest things so much more enjoyable and approachable. She was extremely non-judgmental, very attentive, and very observant. I thought all was lost and the meltdowns would be normal,,but after Diane's visit, both baby and I had a much easier time approaching breastfeeding.

Hello! I’m Gabrielle. A little bit about me and what sets me apart: I am an Ayurvedic birth and postpartum doula, an Holistic Pregnancy and Birth Practitioner (HPBP), and I am in my final year of a Master of Science degree in Integrative Medicine and Ayurveda Health. And, aside from all of that, I have been a career nanny for over a decade with experience working with moms and postpartum. My knowledge of this ancient wisdom of Ayurveda allows me to bring a unique approach to your postpartum by focusing on nourishment, healing, rest, + bonding. My focus is to hold you so you can hold your baby. As we enter into this sacred journey together, know that my intention during every stage is done with the utmost reverence and respect for the art of bringing new life into the world, and I am merely a bystander in your new journey to motherhood. I am so looking forward to serving you.

I hired Gabrielle as a post partum doula, what started out as a 2 week session became 4 weeks and then 6 weeks! I just did NOT want her to leave!!! I cannot say enough good things about her. My baby came 2 weeks early and I was completely not prepared. She instantly eased all my tension of navigating life with a newborn with 2 other toddlers. Organized all the baby things as soon as I got home. I was really interested in her Ayurvedic training for healing and she did not dissapoint. From belly binding on day 3, to pelvic steaming, body work (she is second to NONE, I cried on her first day of restorative touch because I was so grateful), and ohhhh the food. She has magic in her hands. Anything she cooks tastes 10 times better than what you would expect, she had my whole house drooling. She would even see me getting anxious when my baby wouldn’t sleep or cooperate, and she calmly would take the baby from me and somehow everything was good in the world again. The Postpartum journey was so much better having Gabrielle by my side. You will NOT regret hiring her!!!

Elizabeth Cano

6 years of experience

Her passion for childbirth began in her birthing her four children within five years and learning the amazing power of the mind, soul, and body in physiologic birth and thereafter. Becoming a DONA trained Doula has given her the professional skills and resources to help other birthing people and their partner(s) awaken and tune into this power. As your Doula, she is honored to hold space for you and meet you where you are along your reproductive journey. She will provide emotional, informational, and physical support and hold your hand as you learn to advocate for your preferences in what is the most personal and sacred time in your life. By encouraging you to feel confident, fully supported, in control of your choices, and well equipped with the tools and comfort measures, her goal is to help you optimize any path your birth takes. She especially wants to do all she can to educate the community about the power of birth support, increase access to these evidence based services, and work with BBIPOC and trans and queer birthing people who often experience trauma and inequitable care along their gestational journey. As a Latinx Doula, she is a strong proponent of reclaiming and honoring the cultural roots of birthing communities and their traditional practices. Elizabeth is bilingual in Spanish.

Elizabeth supported me throughout my pregnancy, birth and postpartum. Throughout my pregnancy it was so helpful to have her just a text or phone call away if I had any questions, anxiety, or someone to vent to. As a first time mom, I had a lot of questions (e.g. "is XYZ normal??") and put a lot of pressure on myself to become educated on pregnancy and labor/birth. Elizabeth always provided empathetic and evidenced-based responses which helped me make informed decisions. It was a blessing that I didn't need to go down Google rabitholes. She proactively checked in on me, helped me prepare for doctor appointments, and supported me during any complications that arose during my pregnancy. She educated my husband and me on what to expect during labor, how he could support me, and how we could advocate for the care we wanted. She helped us develop a birth plan and stick to it. My labor and birth went better than I could have hoped for, and without her, I don't think that would have been the case. To anyone considering doula, I highly recommend working with Elizabeth!

Elyse Breit

As a birth doula based in central NJ, my practice is influenced by my experience as a massage therapist for over 30 years. I have broad understanding of the physical challenges facing pregnant and postpartum individuals. I’m certified as Body Ready Method™ professional to address body alignment issues during pregnancy, which can result in a more optimal labor and birth. I also teach an in-person Body Ready Birth™ workshop for birthers and their partners to practice labor positions that can ease the baby’s journey through the pelvis. I prepare my clients with tools to calm their nervous system and release their fears using Hypnobirthing meditations and breathing techniques. As an integral part of the birth team, I provide educational resources, in-person prenatal/postpartum visits and compassionate care during active labor and birth.

Elyse is worth every penny! We are incredibly grateful for her and truly believe she played a huge role in helping me achieve my VBAC. My husband has said many times that he wishes we had hired Elyse for our first birth because he believes we could have avoided my C-section. After experiencing labor with and without her support, we now understand just how valuable a knowledgeable and experienced doula can be. From the beginning, Elyse took the time to understand my goal of avoiding another C-section. When it became clear that my original OB would not allow my pregnancy to go beyond 40 weeks and 5 days or consider induction, she recommended a VBAC-friendly OB practice. We switched providers, scheduled an induction at 39 weeks and 5 days, and ultimately welcomed our daughter through a successful VBAC. The moment Elyse arrived at the hospital, we noticed a difference. We felt more supported and confident, and so many different labor techniques and position changes were used to help my labor progress—things that were never even attempted during my first birth. She helped us understand our options, kept me focused, and gave my husband the confidence to support me throughout labor. Elyse stayed with us for 24 hours, providing constant encouragement, comfort measures, music, and reassurance. Looking back, we truly believe her knowledge, calm presence, and unwavering support made all the difference. If you’re considering hiring a doula, I can’t recommend Elyse enough. Forget the self-rocking crib or the latest baby gadgets—Elyse was the single best investment we made for our children. Because of her support, I was able to avoid spending eight agonizing weeks recovering from major surgery, I was able to be fully present for both my toddler and my newborn from the very beginning. That is something you simply can’t put a price on.

Taylor Clarke-Cameron

Hi, I'm Taylor Clarke-Cameron, a birth and postpartum doula and childbirth educator based in New Jersey. Since launching my doula practice in December 2024, I've had the privilege of supporting 15 families and attending 13 births, and every single one has deepened my commitment to this work. Before stepping into birth work, I spent over a decade as a school administrator — advocating for individuals, navigating complex systems, and building trust with families during some of the most pivotal moments of their lives. That foundation shapes everything I do as a doula: I show up informed, steady, and fully in your corner. My mission is simple: every birthing person deserves to feel informed, empowered, and supported — no exceptions. I am proudly affirming of all families, including single parents, multicultural and multi-religious families, LGBTQIA+ families, parents with disabilities, parents who are neurodivergent, and those growing their families through adoption. My Approach Universal Support, Personal Touch Birth is universal—it's happened across cultures, centuries, and countless galaxies of human experience. Yet YOUR birth is uniquely yours, a wonder that deserves celebration and support tailored specifically to your needs. Whether you're a single parent writing your own heroic story, part of a multicultural or multi-religious family blending beautiful traditions, navigating parenthood in the LGBTQIA+ community, a differently-abled parent, a neurodivergent parent, or creating your family through adoption—I am here for YOU. Your journey matters, your choices are valid, and your experience deserves nothing less than stellar support.

Taylor was my birth doula, and I truly feel it was divine intervention that she came into my life—especially since my son was born on her birthday. From the very beginning, she was incredibly attentive, informative, and intentional in supporting both me and my husband. She created a detailed binder for us with guides on what to expect, postpartum care, exercises, and nutritious foods that were safe for both me and my baby. The information was so thorough that I never felt the need to search elsewhere. One moment that deeply stood out to me was when I shared that I wanted to play Surahs during my labor and delivery. At our next visit, Taylor had printed out different Surahs along with explanations of their purposes, making it easier for me to choose what I wanted to hear. That level of thoughtfulness meant so much to me. I also appreciated her honesty and professionalism. If she didn’t know something, she would say so—then either refer me to my midwives or research and follow up with me. During labor and delivery, she was calm, knowledgeable, and attentive. She impressed the medical staff, made me feel safe and advocated for, and ensured my husband felt supported and confident asking questions. Taylor made a huge impact on my first delivery, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better doula. Even now, she continues to send monthly emails with updates on my son’s development and what to expect as I heal. Taylor is amazing, and it’s clear she genuinely cares about what she does.

My doula instructor, Michelle Gabriel-Caldwell, was truly exceptional. From the very first class, she set the tone for an open and supportive learning environment that encouraged honesty, curiosity, and self-growth. Her teaching style was unlike any other instructor I’ve had—she didn’t just read from a textbook. Instead, she brought the curriculum to life by sharing real-world experiences, lessons learned, and genuine passion for birth work. It was evident that she lives what she teaches and cares deeply about preparing her students to succeed not just in theory, but in practice. What stood out most about Michelle was her honesty and transparency. She didn’t sugarcoat what it means to be a doula or the realities that come with supporting mothers, babies, and families. She was upfront about the emotional and physical challenges that can arise, as well as the deep sense of purpose this work can bring. Her authenticity made me feel empowered to embrace every part of this journey the beautiful moments and the hard ones too Each lesson built upon the last in a way that was practical and meaningful. She encouraged dialogue, welcomed questions, and valued every student’s perspective. Her patience, compassion, and professionalism inspired me to become a doula who leads with both skill and heart. She reminded us that being a doula is not only about assisting during labor and birth, but also about advocacy, education, and emotional support that uplifts the entire family. The PHEI Doula Training Program under her instruction exceeded all expectations. Michelle Gabriel-Caldwell has a gift for teaching that blends knowledge, passion, and purpose. Because of her guidance, I completed this training with confidence, clarity, and a deeper commitment to serving women and families in my community. I am grateful for her dedication to empowering future doulas and for helping me discover my calling in this meaningful work.

Before I went to Jade's childbirth class at Montclair BABY, I had never heard of a doula. Her class was holistic of all the options during labor and delivery, and my husband and I felt like Jade could be the perfect support person to ease my anxiety during pregnancy and labor. We were absolutely right. Jade offered continuous comfort and information for me throughout my pregnancy. She is extremely knowledgeable and thorough and gave advice for things I hadn't even considered. Being someone who has always been terrified of childbirth, Jade eased my anxiety leaps and bounds. We prepared for it beforehand, but once I went into labor, Jade supported us over the phone and at my home before we went to the hospital. My birth went from something that I used to fear, to something I now look back on with fond memories (I think that's a wild transformation) and I truly credit a lot of that to Jade. She was an advocate for me at the hospital, she rarely left my side except when I needed alone time with my husband, and she encouraged me. She worked cooperatively with the rest of the birth team. Dare I say birth was actually a little fun? I whole heartedly recommend Jade as a doula and would love to have her at my future births. There really aren't enough words to describe how grateful I am for her.

— Brittany B., review of Vennessa Beason August 2026

Throughout my entire pregnancy, I was super nervous and anxious because the thought of actually giving birth and delivering a child terrified me. A doula never really occurred to me as I never really knew what they were, until one of my coworkers who knew I was 5 months pregnant at the time brought up how she knew of a Doula. Destiny really explained to me what they do and the kinds of services a doula can provide, and it really interested me given through what I was going through during the time, . Working with her turned out to be one of the best decisions I made for me and my baby. From the very first meeting to our last, Destiny has been a pleasure to have as my doula and has made this process a lot lighter for me. She is a great person to talk to and ask any question to becuase she makes you feel comfortable and easy to talk to about any birth and post labor concerns. She provided a home cooked meal post labor and it was absolutely delicious ! But most importantly, she made every effort to ensure a safe space , and a memorable labor. when it was that time and I truly don't think it would've went the way it did had she not been my doula. Even after my son was born, she continued to check in on me, trying to just make sure I was adjusting well emotionally just as much as physically and that's how I know that she's someone who truly cares and has a love and passion to what she does. That meant so much to me because most people only focus on the baby and just forget about the mother lol, but she never forgot to remind me that the mom was just as important. More people would benefit from the services of a doula, especially her. If you're looking for someone who will treat you like family, I couldn't recommend her more. She is exactly the kind of person you want besides you during such a life changing experience.
