Night Nannies & Night Nurses Near Me in Elmira, ON

Hi, I’m Patice, a full-spectrum doula serving Toronto and the GTA. Nine years of supporting individuals and families has taught me every person comes into pregnancy, birth, and postpartum with their own story, priorities, and idea of what support should look like. That’s why I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to doula care. My role is to understand what matters most to you and adapt my support as your needs and preferences evolve. Whether we’re talking through options during a prenatal visit, adjusting to unexpected changes in plans, finding ways to make labour more comfortable, or simply making space for a pause in the middle of it all, my goal is always the same: to help you feel informed, respected, and confident in the decisions you’re making. Good support isn’t about taking over. Support can be active in quiet ways. Sometimes it looks like breaking down options when things feel uncertain, so you can decide what feels right for you. Sometimes it looks like stepping back so you can focus on what your body and instincts are telling you. And sometimes it is simply making the space feel steady enough that you can pause and decide what comes next. The right support doesn’t draw attention to itself. It helps you feel more capable of navigating what is in front of you. Clients often describe me as calm, practical, and easy to talk to.

I am a Certified Birth Doula whose work is deeply rooted in compassion, strength, and connection. A mother of three, a Certified Hypnobirthing Childbirth Educator, Lamaze Childbirth Educator (certifying), postpartum doula, placenta encapsulation specialist and Social Service Worker, I bring a steady, nurturing presence to every family I support. Whether advocating fiercely for your needs, holding space with tenderness, or wrapping you in one of my famously comforting hugs, I am committed to being a steady, grounding presence as you welcome new life. Hello! My name is Katie :) As a birth and postpartum doula, I am passionate about honouring the birth and postpartum experience; by helping families feel supported, informed and heard throughout the process. Having experienced three beautiful births at home, I have a deep respect for the physical, emotional and immensely personal journey of bringing a baby into the world. My personal experience has lead me here - pursuing a career in birth work that is rooted in compassion, respect and empowerment for ALL families regardless of structure, identity or birth preferences. When I’m not working with families, you’ll usually find me at home in Grimsby, Ontario with my partner, our three kids, and two dogs - embracing the beautiful chaos of family life. I love practicing yoga, kitchen dance parties and you can usually spot me in the stands as that overly enthusiastic mom cheering way too loudly at my kids’ sports games.

Hello my name is Trina and I am a Registered Nurse and have 21 years experience in postpartum nursing. In the last 4 years I have transitioned to helping families by supporting them at home. I am a birth worker since 2012, I have provided a variety of services in a variety of settings around the world. I am located in Toronto, Canada, but I am available to travel for minimum one month commitments. I have worked in Macau & Hong Kong, Manila, Nairobi, Vancouver, and Guadalajara, and have a global perspective on birth physiology and traditions. I provide trauma-informed, and culturally safe care, be it education, lactation support, birth and postpartum doula services, or midwifery care. I’m available as a midwife only where a license isn’t required. My approach is very collaborative—rather than “save” you from unsafe practitioners, I prefer to work with you comprehensively in the prenatal period to be sure you have the environment you need for a peaceful and satisfying (physiologic, if possible) birth. My years and depth of experience and knowledge sets me apart from most locally-focused doulas, so I tend to work well with expats and globe-trotters like myself. My happy place is home in Ontario in the near North, at the cottage that has been a part of my family’s experience for 100+ years. I love all animals but especially dogs, and I ADORE drinking coffee and discussing big ideas.

Hi, I’m Emma, your local birth bestie and birth aficionado! I’m a DONA trained doula based out of Toronto, ON looking to support families throughout their birth journey. My goal is to provide amazing care to each client, tailored to their specific needs. Ever since I was young, I have been passionate about supporting families. Inspired by my childhood dreams of being a early childhood educator, an OBGYN and later a midwife, I have always felt a strong pull towards family care and birth work. In my community, I started by becoming the favourite neighborhood babysitter, then in University I became a loving part time nanny, then moved on to work as a manager of a children’s swim school for several years. Alongside my passion for birth support, I have a deep appreciation for art and creativity. I spent three years working at an art gallery and went on to get my Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree in Painting. Even then, my dream of caring for families never left me, with my passions leading me to run impromptu prenatal education sessions during lunch breaks at work. In May of 2024 I made the exciting decision to take a step back from my art career and focus full time on becoming a doula. Now, I am dedicated to being the best “birth bestie” I can be for my clients by proving them with compassionate care, encouragement, and unwavering support every step of the way.
