Provide night time feeding and diaper changing for a 3 weeks old baby
We are looking for an experienced overnight newborn care specialist to provide overnight care for our healthy newborn so parents can get restorative sleep. This position is focused entirely on nighttime newborn care and support. Requirements: • Extensive experience caring for newborns (professional experience preferred). • Certified Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) preferred, but not required. Candidates with extensive newborn experience will also be considered. • Current infant CPR and First Aid certification (required). • Excellent references and willingness to complete a background check. • Non-smoker. • Comfortable caring for breastfed infants. • Must practice and follow current AAP safe sleep guidelines at all times. • Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently overnight. Responsibilities include: • Providing all overnight newborn care, including diaper changes, soothing, burping, swaddling, and settling baby back to sleep. • Bringing baby to mom for breastfeeding (or offering a bottle if needed), then taking baby back afterward so parents can continue resting. • Washing and sterilizing bottles and pump parts, if applicable. • Light baby laundry and keeping baby-related items tidy as time allows. • Monitoring baby’s well-being overnight and communicating any concerns. We are looking for someone who is calm, knowledgeable, nurturing, dependable, and experienced with newborn care. Reliability, professionalism, and a safety-first approach are extremely important to us. Budget: Open to discussing rates based on qualifications and experience.
