Patricia Colvin

Welcome to Nurture Doula Services holding space for your journey into parenthood. My name is Patricia, and I believe that birth is not just a physical event—it’s a sacred passage. As a doula and the heart behind Nurture Doula Services, I walk beside families during one of the most sensitive, powerful, and life-shaping moments: the creation of new life. Every birth is unique, every mother is different, and every family has its own rhythm. My role is to tune in, listen deeply, and support you in the way that you need most. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I tailor my care around your needs—whether that means offering grounding techniques during labor, emotional support for your partner, or simply being a calm, steady presence in the room. My philosophy is simple: when your mind feels safe and supported, your body can do what it was divinely designed to do. My goal is to empower your thoughts so your body can flow with strength, peace, and purpose. At Nurture Doula Services, we’re not just witnessing a birth—we’re helping nurture the legacy of love, resilience, and belonging you’re creating for your child. You don’t have to do this alone. I’m here to hold your hand, honor your choices, and walk with you—one breath, one wave, one beautiful moment at a time.

Patricia's service as a doula has far meet beyond my expectations. She was very attentive, knowledgeable, and supportive during my pregnancy. She stood by my side during childbirth ensuring that my needs are being met. I highly recommend Patricia for anyone seeking a doula.

Hi! My name is Staci and I have a strong passion for birth work, informed consent, evidence based care, and supporting you in getting the birth you hope for, no matter how that looks. As a certified birth and postpartum doula, childbirth educator, CLC, and placenta specialist, you can say I absolutely adore my work and all the families I support. I promise I am judgement free and come with over 12 years of doula experience! I am so honored you're here and I look forward to supporting you as you grow your family. I support families in all birthing locations in the greater Charlotte, LKN, and Catawba areas (40-50 miles from Cornelius, NC) and those who desire unmedicated births all the way to scheduled cesareans. My only intention for you is that you get the birth you desire. That you walk away from your experience empowered and glowing. I'm huge on continuity of care, so I also value showing up for my clients in their postpartum period as a doula, lactation consultant, and friend.

She’s amazing- Hire her! I never planned on having a doula as part of my birthing experience, but I am SO grateful I did. Staci educated and enlightened me along the way, which not only granted for an incredible pregnancy and birth, but postpartum season as well. Her gentle and comforting approach is worth its weight in gold. I know my journey would not have unfolded as it did without her expertise. Thank you, Staci, for such an unforgettable, positive experience. ❤️

I’m currently a ProDoula Certified Labor Doula (CD-L) + A Dona International Certified Doula (CD). I am also a Certified Fertility Doula (CFD), Reproductive Health Specialist (RHS), Postpartum Doula (PPD), Newborn Care Specialist (NCS), and Infant Feeding Specialist (IFS). I know it’s a mouthful but it was all totally worth it. I support unmedicated and medicated births and believe they are both outstandingly beautiful. I also specialize in working with LGBTQ+ families. I am obsessed with multiples as a result of my younger twin siblings, Claire and Cooper. Thankfully, my obsession has led me to experience some amazing twin and triplet births (vaginal and cesarean). I also fully support and love those who birth their babies from their bellies. I now offer planned cesarean support as well! I have been trained in a variety of comfort measure techniques including, rebozo, acupressure, massage, guided meditation, and aromatherapy. I am a certified Hypnobabies Hypno-Doula. Additionally, I have significant experience with clients using other forms of Hypnosis for birth. I have a fierce desire to help clients who struggle with walking a unique fertility path. As the first Fertility Doula in Charlotte, NC, I know just how much support surrounding fertility complications and infertility is needed in our community. I have recently started organizing a collective of doulas committed to offering support to families and individuals undergoing any fertility assistance. Fertility work has led me to find passion in also supporting families with surrogates and those going through surrogacy. Breastfeeding/Chestfeeding, pumping, supplementing, and formula feeding are all journeys that I’m in full support of and have significant experience with as well. Cultivating an environment where you can bond with your baby, no matter how you feed them, is one of my favorite things to curate for clients. I’ve always loved supporting people - the deeply and passionately really truly type of love. There is nothing that has ever compared to feeling like I’m living my purpose. Being a doula isn’t what I am meant to do. Being a doula is what I was born to do.
