I've also completed Hypnobabies Academy's online Hypnobirthing course. My interests besides birthwork include architecture and design, enjoying western Massachusetts and the San Francisco Bay Area's beautiful natural landscapes, and quality time with people and animals I love. Authenticity flows through my birthwork and enhances my capacity to understand and connect with people. I provide embodied, mindful, compassionate, knowledgeable accompaniment and witness for families of all kinds, including solo birthing people and those with existing support from a partner and birth team. Hello everyone! my name is Amanda, & I have been working in childcare for over 5 years. I obtained my associate degree in early childhood education in 2021 and my doula certifications through the International Doula Institute in 2023. I have worked in various environments including an in-home daycare, a childcare center, and the homes of personal nanny clients. I chose to pursue doula work because of my innate drive to support others and provide the needed assistance to empower families in their abilities. I am beginning to create and grow my doula business and I look forward to connecting with families around my community! I have a calm and reserved personality type which allows space for everyone to be seen and heard.
