Hi Families! My name is Karla Aguilar, and I’m a Postpartum Doula, Newborn Care Specialist, proud mom to a sweet 9 year old and 1x Gestational surrogate. My passion has always been rooted in childcare, beginning my career as an early childhood educator with a certificate in Child Development and Early Childhood Education from Cerritos College. With years of experience in daycare centers, public schools, and private homes, my heart has always been drawn to newborn and postpartum care. Becoming a young mother and navigating postpartum with limited support opened my eyes to the gap in care during this beautiful yet vulnerable stage, inspiring me to provide the support I once needed myself. In 2026, my passion for family building led me to become a gestational surrogate, giving me the incredible opportunity to experience pregnancy, labor, and postpartum recovery for a second time. Having recently gone through postpartum myself, including pumping, Labor, OBYGN appointments I bring even more firsthand knowledge, understanding, and compassion to the families I support. I truly believe it takes a village to bring little ones into this world, and I’m honored to be part of yours, providing warm, nurturing, and professional care to your family.

I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Karla. She is an extraordinary person who consistently goes above and beyond, and the warmth, compassion, and genuine love she has shown our newborn son have meant the world to our family. As first-time parents, the idea of leaving our newborn in someone else’s care was understandably a little intimidating. But from the moment we interviewed Karla, she gave us absolutely no reason to hesitate. Her professionalism, experience, and incredibly warm personality immediately put us at ease. We felt safe and confident knowing our little guy was in such capable and loving hands. What makes Karla so special is that she doesn’t simply show up and do her job. She genuinely cares. She has surprised us time and time again with her thoughtfulness, her willingness to go above and beyond, and the attention she gives to every little detail. She always made sure we knew how our son was doing throughout the night, giving us tremendous peace of mind and allowing us to actually relax and get some much-needed rest. Her passion for what she does is apparent the moment she walks through your door. There is something incredibly special about welcoming someone into your home who treats your child with the same tenderness and affection you would. Karla has a way of making herself feel like an extension of your family, and I think that speaks volumes about the kind of person she is. I’ve never felt compelled to write a Google review until now. And the reason I’m writing this one is simple: I believe so strongly in the work Karla does, the care she provides, and her extraordinary ability to deliver on the trust that families place in her. When someone makes this meaningful a difference in your family’s life, it deserves to be recognized. I’ve already recommended her to one of my closest friends, and I would recommend her to absolutely anyone looking for exceptional newborn care. Having Karla in your home is truly a gift, especially during those early months when everything is so new and overwhelming. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found her, and we’re looking forward to continuing to work with her as our little guy grows over the coming months and years. She is simply wonderful, and any family would be lucky to have her.

Hi there! 🤍 Thank you so much for visiting my profile! I’d love to share a little about myself, what led me to birth work, and how I hope to support you and your family through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. As a doula, my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and free to make the choices that are right for you and your family. I believe birth is deeply personal, and there is no single “right” way to experience it. Whether you’re planning an unmedicated birth, considering pain management options, preparing for a cesarean, or still figuring out what feels right for you, you deserve compassionate, judgment-free support every step of the way. I’m here to offer evidence-based information, gentle education, encouragement, and hands-on support while helping you feel confident in your own voice and decisions. My role isn’t to tell you how your birth should look, but to help you feel informed, respected, and cared for throughout the process. I am trained through DONA International and have additional training in childbirth education and breastfeeding support. I’m passionate about helping families feel prepared not only for birth, but also for the transition into parenthood and those tender early postpartum days. Whether you need help navigating your options, reassurance during an overwhelming moment, support with feeding, or simply someone in your corner, I want you to feel that you don’t have to navigate this season alone. My journey into birth work began with my own experience becoming a mother. After the birth of my first daughter, I realized just how unprepared I had felt for labor and delivery. Looking back, I often felt like things were happening to me rather than feeling empowered to make informed decisions based on evidence, my preferences, and my maternal instincts. During my second pregnancy, I knew I wanted a different experience. I immersed myself in research, explored evidence-based birth practices, and became intentional about the kind of experience I wanted for myself and my baby. That journey changed the way I viewed birth and opened my eyes to how much of a difference feeling informed, heard, and supported can make. I knew I wanted to help other families experience that same sense of confidence and empowerment. I would love to connect with you! Whether you know exactly what kind of support you’re looking for or are just beginning to explore your options, you are welcome here. I’d love to learn more about you, your hopes for this season, and how I can best support you and your family. I look forward to meeting you and being part of your journey! 🤍

As a first-time dad, I wasn’t totally sure what a doula did—I just knew I wanted my wife to feel supported during labor. What I didn’t expect was how much I would benefit from having her there, too. From the moment we hired Janée, she made both of us feel informed, confident, and ready. She took the time to educate us on the stages of labor, comfort techniques, and what to expect in the hospital. By the time my wife went into labor, I actually felt prepared instead of overwhelmed. During the birth, she was absolutely incredible. She supported my wife emotionally and physically, but she also guided me on how to support her better—whether it was suggesting positions, showing me how to apply counter-pressure, or reassuring me when things got intense. I never once felt useless or in the way. Instead, I felt like an active part of the process, which meant everything to me. She created a calm, encouraging atmosphere the entire time. Anytime we had questions, she explained things clearly and helped us feel comfortable with the decisions we were making. Her presence took so much stress off both of us, allowing me to focus on my wife and stay grounded. Looking back, hiring Janée was one of the best decisions we made. She didn’t just support my wife—she empowered me as a husband and new father. If you’re on the fence, especially as a dad, take it from me: a good doula is worth every bit of it. She made our birth experience something we’ll be grateful for forever.

Hello, I’m Kathy, and I’m honored to walk alongside families as they journey into parenthood. Becoming a mother is one of the most beautiful and life-changing experiences a woman can go through. It can also be overwhelming, emotional, and filled with uncertainty. I believe no mother should have to navigate that journey feeling alone. As a Birth and Postpartum Doula, my heart is in supporting mothers and families through the many transitions that come with pregnancy, birth, and bringing a new baby home. I am here to listen, encourage, reassure, and provide a calm and caring presence when you need it most. My educational background in Psychology, with an emphasis in Family and Marriage Therapy, has deepened my understanding of the emotional and relational changes that can occur during this important season of life. The arrival of a baby changes more than a family’s daily routine—it can change how we see ourselves, how we connect with our partners, and how we navigate our new roles as parents. I bring this understanding into my doula work by creating a safe, compassionate space where mothers and families can feel heard, supported, and understood. During pregnancy and birth, I support you in preparing for the experience you envision while respecting that birth can sometimes take an unexpected path. Whether your birth plan changes or unfolds exactly as you hoped, you deserve to feel informed, respected, and supported. After your baby arrives, my role is to help you find your rhythm as a new family. I provide practical and emotional support as you recover, learn your baby, navigate feeding and newborn care, adjust to new routines, and experience the many emotions that come with motherhood. I believe that caring for the mother is an essential part of caring for the family. My philosophy is simple: I don't believe in telling you how to be a mother. I believe in meeting you where you are, listening to what you need, and walking beside you as you discover your own way. There is no perfect birth, no perfect mother, and no single path into parenthood. There is only "your" journey—and I would be honored to be part of it. My goal is to help you feel seen, heard, supported, and confident as you move from pregnancy to birth and into the beautiful, sometimes messy, and deeply transformative journey of motherhood. You care for so many already. Let me help care for you.l.

Oh my God, I love Pearl! Every time I need to book an appointment, I look forward to seeing her. During my prenatal visits, she was always so supportive. Whenever I complained about back pain, she would give me a back rub that really helped. She also taught me breathing techniques and shared many helpful tips throughout my pregnancy. After my baby was born, Pearl continued to be an amazing support. She showed me how to bathe my baby and helped me feel more confident as a new mom. She would even watch my baby while I took a shower, ate a meal, or took care of personal things. I highly recommend Pearl to anyone looking for a caring, knowledgeable, and supportive doula. She truly goes above and beyond for her clients!

Luz was truly the best doula I could have asked for. She supported me every step of the way throughout my pregnancy and was an incredible source of comfort, guidance, and knowledge. Her support during labor made all the difference. I genuinely believe that without her, I would not have had the smooth birth experience that I did. Her care didn't stop after delivery. During postpartum, she helped care for both my baby and me, allowing me to get the rest and recovery I needed. She even helped with everyday tasks like baby laundry and dishes, which was such a blessing during those early weeks. Luz is kind, respectful, compassionate, and incredibly knowledgeable. Even though I had previous pregnancies, she taught me so much that I never knew before. Her dedication and support exceeded every expectation. I cannot recommend her enough, she is simply the best!

Hi, I’m Yoli! 🤍👶 I’m a certified doula, an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse, and the proud **founder and owner of Vida Birth Support . Vida is a Latina-owned business based in Riverside County, California, proudly serving families throughout the Inland Empire and surrounding communities. As a bilingual provider, I am passionate about offering compassionate, culturally sensitive care in both English and Spanish, ensuring that every woman feels understood, respected, and genuinely supported—without language barriers. With years of hands-on experience in Labor & Delivery and Emergency Care, I have witnessed both the incredible beauty of childbirth and the challenges women face when navigating the healthcare system. Throughout my nursing career, I have cared for women during some of their most vulnerable and empowering moments. I have also witnessed too many mothers enter the delivery room feeling overwhelmed, unprepared, unheard, or uncertain about their choices. I knew I wanted to be part of changing that experience. That passion is what inspired me to create Vida Birth Support.💗 My vision was to build something that goes beyond traditional birth support—a place where education, advocacy, compassion, and empowerment come together to help women take an active role in their birth experience. At Vida, our mission is simple yet powerful: **To empower women through education, advocacy, and personalized support so they can approach childbirth feeling confident, informed, respected, and supported.** ✨ **Education Is Empowerment** We offer comprehensive childbirth education classes designed to help expectant mothers and their families understand the incredible changes happening throughout pregnancy, labor, and delivery. Our classes focus on understanding the stages of labor, pain management options, medical interventions, recognizing potential complications, understanding patient rights, and learning how to communicate effectively with the healthcare team. I believe that when a woman understands her body, her options, and her rights, she becomes better equipped to make informed decisions for herself and her baby. ✨ **Compassionate Doula Support** In addition to education, Vida provides personalized birth and postpartum doula services centered on emotional reassurance, physical comfort, encouragement, and continuous support. Our goal is to create an environment where mothers feel safe, respected, and empowered throughout their journey. Whether you're preparing for your first birth or welcoming another little blessing, our team is here to walk beside you, provide guidance, and help ensure your voice is heard. ✨ **A Mission Close to My Heart** As a Latina woman, a mother, and a nurse, this work is deeply personal to me. I understand the importance of having someone by your side who not only understands the medical aspects of childbirth but also recognizes the emotional, cultural, and personal significance of bringing a new life into the world. I am especially passionate about helping bridge the gaps in maternal healthcare and advocating for women who may feel overlooked, intimidated, or unheard. My goal is to build a community where every mother, regardless of her background, language, or circumstances, has access to education, compassionate support, and the confidence to advocate for herself. At Vida, I believe: 🤍 Every mama deserves to feel heard. 🤍 Every woman deserves to understand her choices. 🤍 Every birth deserves dignity and respect. 🤍 Every family deserves compassionate, culturally sensitive care. 🤍 And every mother deserves to enter her birth experience feeling prepared, powerful, and supported. Vida Birth Support is more than a business to me. It is my passion, my purpose, and my commitment to making a meaningful difference in maternal healthcare. I created Vida because I believe we can do better for our mothers, our babies, and our communities. And I am proud to be building something that reflects those values every single day. ✨ Vida Birth Support — Empowering Mothers. Honoring Birth. Hi! I’m Rechelle, a trained postpartum doula and newborn care specialist based in Long Beach, CA. Growing up in Victorville, an underserved community with limited access to OB/GYNs and specialized care, shaped my passion for maternal health and advocacy. My journey into postpartum support began with an internship at Black Infant Health, where I saw firsthand the impact of culturally relevant care, especially for Black families facing higher risks and poor health outcomes. I trained with the DNT Network, a program that prepares doulas to provide high-quality, evidence-based postpartum and newborn care, because I value relationship-centered, accurate, and accessible care for every family. My background in public health, combined with personal experience supporting my brother who has special needs, has shown me the gaps families face and inspired my mission to close them. As a doula, my philosophy is simple: every family deserves compassionate, personalized support. I work closely with families to provide postpartum care in ways that are grounded, practical, and nurturing. Whether it’s feeding, soothing, sleep, light household tasks, or emotional support, my focus is on practical care that makes your nights easier. My mission is to reduce maternal health disparities while honoring the unique needs of each family I serve.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Becky with Birth to Latch has been absolutely amazing. Our experience with her has brought us so much peace, confidence, and excitement as we prepare to welcome our first baby. Going into this pregnancy, we had no real guidance on what to expect during labor and birth. As a first-time father, I honestly wasn’t sure what my role would be or how I could best support my wife. After attending Becky’s Comfort Measures class, everything changed. I walked away with a clear understanding of my role as a husband and father during labor, along with practical tools and the confidence to be the support my wife deserves. What makes Becky so special is her warmth and kindness. She creates such a safe, welcoming environment that it genuinely feels like you’re learning from a trusted family member rather than someone you just met. She has a gift for making everyone feel comfortable, heard, and empowered. I especially appreciate that Becky doesn’t just focus on preparing moms she places just as much importance on educating and empowering the birth partner. That made a huge difference for us and strengthened our confidence as a team going into this life-changing experience. If you’re looking for a doula who is knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly invested in helping both parents feel prepared, I cannot recommend Becky and Birth to Latch enough. We are incredibly grateful to have her as part of our birth journey.

My doula approach encompasses physical, emotional, educational, and energetic support in a warm and loving space. My goal is to bring truly comprehensive, safe, healing, and whole-hearted doula care to all the beautiful families that I am blessed to interact with. I don't even know where to start. I am almost 3 weeks postpartum and have been heavily reflecting on my pregnancy, labor, and delivery as a first-time mom. I matched with Kalista when I was about 20 weeks pregnant. The kindness, support, and education provided by Kalista from day 1 has made the entire experience incredibly memorable. My plan was to have an unmedicated birth, but complications along the way forced an induction and an epidural. My body continued to struggle to dilate, which caused a very uncomfortable, prolonged labor. There were many moments of feeling very challenged and overwhelmed. Kalista stayed by my side in the hospital the entire time, as soon as I was admitted. Kalista provided ambient lighting, meditation music, electrolytes, stress tools (ball and labor comb), suggested positions to try during contractions, and massaged my legs during the most intense times. One of the most memorable things I will always remember during my labor and delivery was her soft, kind words of encouragement during painful moments and during my actual delivery. I honestly can say that I wouldn't have been able to overcome the challenges without her and my fiance by my side. I was hard on myself when the turn of events changed my birth plan. Kalista made my fiance and I feel comfortable and confident that we could overcome it all and still have a positive delivery. When I look back on everything, I can honestly say that I will miss the entire experience and parts of me wish that it wasn't over. If I ever have another baby, I hope that Kalista is available again to help me have another positive birth experience. We are so grateful for her!

I worked with Stephanie prenatally, during labor/delivery, and postpartum too. She was wonderful to work with, a great listener, guided me and my husband well through what we could expect with having our first child, supported me through my various anxieties, and really showed up for us during labor. She was a vital advocate for me while I was at the hospital. She is knowledgable about Spinning Babies (and has received their training), did a visualization exercise with my husband and I in thinking about the unknowns of parenthood and embracing all that was to come, and she was ready and prepared to support us when she came to the hospital. She supported me emotionally and physically through early labor and all the various interventions that became necessary because I was not dilating and my labor was not progressing. Loved working with Stephanie and would recommend her to anyone for support during the birth or new mom phase of life.
