Momo Bass

Hello everyone, my name is Momo Bass and I am a certified birth doula as well as a trained postpartum doula that serves the greater Los Angeles and Pasadena area. Aside from doing this rewarding work for a while, I am also a mama myself, to three amazing kiddos! When I'm not cheering on my kids at soccer practice, you'll likely find me tending to my ever-growing houseplant collection, or tending to myself at the gym. But my true passion lies in supporting families embarking on their incredible birthing journey. Motherhood is what threw me into the thralls of what it means to bring life into this world. It's this firsthand knowledge, coupled with my relentless curiosity about the miracle of birth and the transition into becoming a parent, that led me to become a birth and postpartum doula. Bringing my kiddos earth side became my superpower, and it’s become my mission to ignite that same fire in the families I work with. I believe that starts with finding judgment-free informational and emotional support, and I believe it starts when parents take back control of how their labor & postpartum experience goes by making informed decisions on what’s best for yourself and your growing family. “Everyone wants to hold the baby, but who will hold the mother/parents?” As a birth and postpartum doula, I will!

I had the pleasure of working alongside Monique as my co-doula, and I can confidently say she is an exceptional professional. Momo brings warmth, compassion, and unwavering dedication to every family she supports. Her calm demeanor and intuitive ability to anticipate the needs of both birthing parents and their partners make her a reliable and invaluable presence during such an important time. Working with Momo, I’ve seen firsthand how her knowledge, experience, and genuine care create a safe and empowering space for her clients. She has a natural gift for fostering connection and ensuring her clients feel heard, supported, and respected throughout their journey. Any family would be incredibly lucky to have Momo by their side. She’s not just a doula but a true advocate and companion for the families she serves. Warmly, Maia S

Hello There! My name is Aly Gonzalez and I identify as she/her. I'm a mother to a sweet four year old boy named Luke and married a former Marine for almost 7 years! My Journey in Newborn care started way before I had my son, began back in 2018. I was introduced to an amazing family who needed the extra help overnight and I took up the opportunity as I knew I was more than cable of helping out the family in this new season. The family really opened up my eyes to an amazing opportunity of being able to help families with new babies. I was fascinated and took a leap of faith to start my own business as a New Born Care Specialist. I got certified and never looked back. Had my baby boy three years later and dove back into my business, as an ever better NCS because I now had a better and deeper understanding what it was like to come from the hospital with a new baby. I fell in love deeper with my job and got certified as a Postpartum Doula, furthering my education in the postpartum world. I'm now a newborn care specialist, postpartum doula, and a breastfeeding specialist. I'm Constantly continuing my education in newborn and postpartum care. I've worked with singles, multiples, and babies with special needs. I offer personalized care for every single one of my families depending on their wants and unique needs. I'm here to help support you emotionally, physically, offer lactation support, education, resources and empowerment. I truly love my job and being part of my clients postpartum journey, please don't hesitate to reach out!

Alejandra was an absolute godsend during my postpartum journey. Her calm, nurturing presence made those overwhelming early weeks feel manageable and even beautiful. She supported my daughter, helped with the baby duties, and reminded me to care for myself — all with kindness and expertise. I truly don’t know how I would’ve done it without her. My daughter’s sleep schedule now is amazing and I know it was from her doula support. Highly, highly recommend!

Hi, I’m Charlotte! I’m a birth doula and maternal health advocate based in Los Angeles. The word “doula” comes from the In Greek word, δούλα which means “woman who serves” and I live this wholeheartedly. My doula approach is deeply attuned to you. This is your experience. As a 200hr trained yoga teacher, I weave in movement, breath work, and mindfulness, while staying rooted in evidence-based care. I’m research obsessed! I studied at Brown University for college and I am passionate about education and maternal health advocacy. I remain closely engaged with current research and continue my education through ongoing trainings and workshops. I am committed to showing up for my LA community. Alongside my doula practice, I serve as a Client Coordinator at Joy in Birthing Foundation, helping connect under-resourced families with doula support across Los Angeles. I offer pro bono care through organizations like Harvest Home and within the foster care system. Outside of birth work, you can find me with a coffee in hand in Silver Lake, in a yoga or barre class, knitting, or hiking in Griffith Park. I wake up everyday feeling deeply grateful to be a doula and serving the women and people around me in such a transformative time in their lives. I have the deepest appreciation and respect for each person I support. It would be an honor to support you and your family wherever you’re at in the journey. I want to hear about your biggest wishes and dreams for your birth and postpartum experience — it can all be creative, imaginative, and beautiful. Let’s connect!

Charlotte was kind, thoughtful, responsive, hands-on when I needed her, and extremely patient and flexible—beyond expectations. Before I gave birth, in the months leading up to my labor, Charlotte came to my home a few times to get to know me, my home, and my birth preferences. Since it was my first pregnancy, she had many thoughts and suggestions for how to prepare and I found her all around competent and thoughtful. Fast forward to my birth experience. I was in labor for three days, and during all three days, she was there for me exactly how I needed her. For the first day, I labored at home and she was available by phone and text until I decided I wanted her in-person support. Once I asked for her to be by my side, she stayed with me for close to 36 hours starting at home and continuing through the time I was at a birth center. After the second day passed, I made a non-emergent transfer to the hospital due to fatigue and dehydration. During this time, we communicated well and I allowed her to go home and take a nap while I got an epidural and took a nap as well. Crazily enough, she was on call for another birth and even wound up attending another birth while I was in the hospital waiting to dilate enough to push. As this happened we stayed in communication and I felt supported enough by her and my midwives over the phone that I didn’t need a backup doula. On the third day, the stars aligned and she wrapped up at her other birth not long before I was ready to push. She rushed to my hospital, and was not only by my side, but encouraged me exactly how I needed and held one leg while a nurse held my other one as I bore down and pushed my little girl out. TLDR; Charlotte is communicative, capable, sympathetic, and experienced. She was an excellent choice as a birth support person and if you are considering her to be your doula, let this be my letter of recommendation.

Birth & Postpartum Doula I have been supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum since long before I had the language for it formally serving as a doula since 2021, but showing up for birthing people in my community for years before that. Aysha SHOWED UP for me! I’m honestly not sure how my birth would have gone without her support! We laughed. We walked. We squatted. We twerked. I cried. She held me. Reminded me that i was capable. Postpartum was rough this go round and she was there, prepping meals, cleaning, teaching my toddler essential life skills, making sure she saw me drinking my water and taking my vitamins. She feels like a best friend I’ve known for many years. I’m so grateful and i can’t say it enough💗

My experience with Jade as my doula has been amazing, and I’m so grateful to have had her be a part of my journey into motherhood. Before giving birth, Jade took the time to educate me on what to expect during labor and delivery and taught me about newborn care. As a first time mom, this was really helpful and made me feel more prepared for what was ahead. When it was time to give birth, Jade was truly amazing. She didn’t hesitate to take initiative in the labor room, and whatever I needed, she was right there. Whether it was a cold cloth, my lip gloss, a fan, or water, she was always attentive and making sure I was as comfortable as possible. She was right alongside my partner, helping hold my legs while coaching and encouraging me throughout the entire process. Having someone so attentive and helpful during such an intense and vulnerable moment in my life meant so much to me. She also recorded and captured my birth experience, which is something I will always be grateful for. Being able to look back on those memories and see the moment I brought my son into the world is truly priceless. Her support didn’t stop after I had my son. Her postpartum visits have been great, and I really appreciate the care and support she continues to give me as I adjust to being a new mom. She has also provided thoughtful gifts for both my postpartum recovery and my baby, which I truly appreciate. Those gestures mean a lot and show how thoughtful and caring she is toward both moms and their little ones. I would definitely recommend Jade to other moms, especially first time moms. She has been there for me before, during, and after birth, and I’m truly thankful to have had her by my side during such a special time in my life. She made me feel cared for and supported, and I couldn’t have asked for a better person to be part of my birth experience. ??

Nikki is an absolute rockstar! Nikki helped us for about 3 months. I noticed a positive difference with Rogan every single day after Nikki had spent the night. He was calm and super happy, and stuck to his schedule the next day! Nikki always came on time (or early) and stayed until she was sure he was settled. I was originally extremely nervous to have someone help us sleep train Rogan. Nikki's obvious care and love eased every worry, and I actually slept through the night. I can't say enough good things!!

Welcome! My name is Rose, and I'm a certified birth doula. I will accompany you in your pregnancy, labor and postpartum journey. I provide assistance during pregnancy and labor by giving parents the necessary information they need to make informed decisions about their care. I provide newborn assistance, information on childbirth education, breastfeeding, lactation and postpartum support. As a community doula I believe in healing the body. The reason many women do not heal during postpartum is because there are still many toxins trapped in their bodies that prevent them from healing. I work with mothers at whatever stage of emotional and physical support they need and provide them with the resources they need to feel empowered throughout this journey. I believe in holistic healing, ayurveda, essential oils, aromatherapy & yoga. I have lived in Taiwan and South Korea and have learned about traditional healing methods. My experience includes working with women from all walks of life and cultural backgrounds. This includes women who have experienced pregnancy loss, abortions, trauma and high-risk IVF procedures. I also speak Spanish and work with the Spanish speaking community. I hold a Master's Degree in Education and a Certified Birth Doula certification. I really enjoy teaching couples and enhancing their knowledge about pregnancy & labor. Unlike other doulas, I bring a strong background in healthcare working in acute hospitals in the nursing department. Although I am not a nurse, my background includes ER, ICU, medicine & surgery, mental health, rehabilitation, post rehab and sub-acute units. I am also trained as a medication technician which allows me to understand the different types of medications that are given to patients in hospitals. I've worked in a variety of hospital settings and have the necessary experience to deliver bedside nursing skills. I accept several forms of insurance across California. Contact me today!
