Hello there! My name is Sharon Jensen-Cody, and I'm thrilled to connect with you here. In my world, I share my life with my wonderful husband and our 2 kids who fill our days with joy and surprises. My journey into the world of birth-work stems from a deep-rooted passion for pregnancy and childbirth that took hold of me at a young age. The pivotal moment came when I witnessed my sister giving birth when I was just 17. The duality of the experience, both challenging and profoundly beautiful, left an indelible mark on me. My mission as a DONA trained Birth Doula is rooted in empowering women to shape their birth experiences according to their desires. I am dedicated to championing maternal-fetal health and providing unwavering support to women as they embark on one of life's most incredible journeys. I am here to walk alongside you, offering mental, emotional, and physical guidance to make your birth journey a truly empowering and memorable one. I am also a certified pediatric sleep consultant, passionate about teaching families how to gain restorative sleep with their little ones. I look forward to the privilege of being a part of your birth story and helping you navigate this extraordinary time in your life.

Working with Sharon was one of the most reassuring parts of our entire birth experience. From the very beginning, her communication style put us at ease. She paid close attention to the details of our birth plan and made sure our preferences were understood and respected throughout the process. One thing we especially appreciated was her flexibility around when to join us at the hospital. She checked in often, helped us navigate the early stages from afar, and arrived right when we entered active labor. From that moment on, her presence made a noticeable difference. She helped lower our stress, and we trusted her implicitly in how she advocated for us with the nursing staff. Her strong rapport with the team at Woodland Hills Kaiser Permanente made everything feel that much smoother. Sharon’s depth of experience came through in every interaction. She was calm when we needed calm, confident when we needed guidance, and always focused on making sure we felt supported. We’re incredibly grateful for her and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to any family looking for a doula who is both highly skilled and genuinely compassionate. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend.

After feeling dismissed and intimidated into making decisions against my better judgment during my first birth, I knew I wanted a different experience the second time and specifically sought out advocacy--hiring Britt as my doula was one of the best decisions I made. From the beginning, she was incredibly relatable and easy to talk to, taking the time to truly understand my preferences, concerns, and goals. Her background as a former high-risk RN, combined with her doula training, gave me so much confidence. She explained things clearly, helped me make informed decisions, and always made sure I felt heard and respected. No matter what questions or worries I had, she met them with patience and reassurance. Even though my birth didn't go as planned and ended in an unplanned C-section, Britt's support never wavered. She was a steady, calming presence throughout and helped me feel empowered and cared for every step of the way. I'm so grateful for her support and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly supportive doula. During such a vulnerable time where appointments can feel impersonal and too "routine", it was such a blessing to feel/know that someone really genuinely cared about me, my pregnancy and by baby!

Hi there! 🤍 Thank you so much for visiting my profile! I’d love to share a little about myself, what led me to birth work, and how I hope to support you and your family through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. As a doula, my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and free to make the choices that are right for you and your family. I believe birth is deeply personal, and there is no single “right” way to experience it. Whether you’re planning an unmedicated birth, considering pain management options, preparing for a cesarean, or still figuring out what feels right for you, you deserve compassionate, judgment-free support every step of the way. I’m here to offer evidence-based information, gentle education, encouragement, and hands-on support while helping you feel confident in your own voice and decisions. My role isn’t to tell you how your birth should look, but to help you feel informed, respected, and cared for throughout the process. I am trained through DONA International and have additional training in childbirth education and breastfeeding support. I’m passionate about helping families feel prepared not only for birth, but also for the transition into parenthood and those tender early postpartum days. Whether you need help navigating your options, reassurance during an overwhelming moment, support with feeding, or simply someone in your corner, I want you to feel that you don’t have to navigate this season alone. My journey into birth work began with my own experience becoming a mother. After the birth of my first daughter, I realized just how unprepared I had felt for labor and delivery. Looking back, I often felt like things were happening to me rather than feeling empowered to make informed decisions based on evidence, my preferences, and my maternal instincts. During my second pregnancy, I knew I wanted a different experience. I immersed myself in research, explored evidence-based birth practices, and became intentional about the kind of experience I wanted for myself and my baby. That journey changed the way I viewed birth and opened my eyes to how much of a difference feeling informed, heard, and supported can make. I knew I wanted to help other families experience that same sense of confidence and empowerment. I would love to connect with you! Whether you know exactly what kind of support you’re looking for or are just beginning to explore your options, you are welcome here. I’d love to learn more about you, your hopes for this season, and how I can best support you and your family. I look forward to meeting you and being part of your journey! 🤍

As a first-time dad, I wasn’t totally sure what a doula did—I just knew I wanted my wife to feel supported during labor. What I didn’t expect was how much I would benefit from having her there, too. From the moment we hired Janée, she made both of us feel informed, confident, and ready. She took the time to educate us on the stages of labor, comfort techniques, and what to expect in the hospital. By the time my wife went into labor, I actually felt prepared instead of overwhelmed. During the birth, she was absolutely incredible. She supported my wife emotionally and physically, but she also guided me on how to support her better—whether it was suggesting positions, showing me how to apply counter-pressure, or reassuring me when things got intense. I never once felt useless or in the way. Instead, I felt like an active part of the process, which meant everything to me. She created a calm, encouraging atmosphere the entire time. Anytime we had questions, she explained things clearly and helped us feel comfortable with the decisions we were making. Her presence took so much stress off both of us, allowing me to focus on my wife and stay grounded. Looking back, hiring Janée was one of the best decisions we made. She didn’t just support my wife—she empowered me as a husband and new father. If you’re on the fence, especially as a dad, take it from me: a good doula is worth every bit of it. She made our birth experience something we’ll be grateful for forever.

Hello, I’m Kathy, and I’m honored to walk alongside families as they journey into parenthood. Becoming a mother is one of the most beautiful and life-changing experiences a woman can go through. It can also be overwhelming, emotional, and filled with uncertainty. I believe no mother should have to navigate that journey feeling alone. As a Birth and Postpartum Doula, my heart is in supporting mothers and families through the many transitions that come with pregnancy, birth, and bringing a new baby home. I am here to listen, encourage, reassure, and provide a calm and caring presence when you need it most. My educational background in Psychology, with an emphasis in Family and Marriage Therapy, has deepened my understanding of the emotional and relational changes that can occur during this important season of life. The arrival of a baby changes more than a family’s daily routine—it can change how we see ourselves, how we connect with our partners, and how we navigate our new roles as parents. I bring this understanding into my doula work by creating a safe, compassionate space where mothers and families can feel heard, supported, and understood. During pregnancy and birth, I support you in preparing for the experience you envision while respecting that birth can sometimes take an unexpected path. Whether your birth plan changes or unfolds exactly as you hoped, you deserve to feel informed, respected, and supported. After your baby arrives, my role is to help you find your rhythm as a new family. I provide practical and emotional support as you recover, learn your baby, navigate feeding and newborn care, adjust to new routines, and experience the many emotions that come with motherhood. I believe that caring for the mother is an essential part of caring for the family. My philosophy is simple: I don't believe in telling you how to be a mother. I believe in meeting you where you are, listening to what you need, and walking beside you as you discover your own way. There is no perfect birth, no perfect mother, and no single path into parenthood. There is only "your" journey—and I would be honored to be part of it. My goal is to help you feel seen, heard, supported, and confident as you move from pregnancy to birth and into the beautiful, sometimes messy, and deeply transformative journey of motherhood. You care for so many already. Let me help care for you.l.

Luz was truly the best doula I could have asked for. She supported me every step of the way throughout my pregnancy and was an incredible source of comfort, guidance, and knowledge. Her support during labor made all the difference. I genuinely believe that without her, I would not have had the smooth birth experience that I did. Her care didn't stop after delivery. During postpartum, she helped care for both my baby and me, allowing me to get the rest and recovery I needed. She even helped with everyday tasks like baby laundry and dishes, which was such a blessing during those early weeks. Luz is kind, respectful, compassionate, and incredibly knowledgeable. Even though I had previous pregnancies, she taught me so much that I never knew before. Her dedication and support exceeded every expectation. I cannot recommend her enough, she is simply the best!

Hi! I’m Rechelle, a trained postpartum doula and newborn care specialist based in Long Beach, CA. Growing up in Victorville, an underserved community with limited access to OB/GYNs and specialized care, shaped my passion for maternal health and advocacy. My journey into postpartum support began with an internship at Black Infant Health, where I saw firsthand the impact of culturally relevant care, especially for Black families facing higher risks and poor health outcomes. I trained with the DNT Network, a program that prepares doulas to provide high-quality, evidence-based postpartum and newborn care, because I value relationship-centered, accurate, and accessible care for every family. My background in public health, combined with personal experience supporting my brother who has special needs, has shown me the gaps families face and inspired my mission to close them. As a doula, my philosophy is simple: every family deserves compassionate, personalized support. I work closely with families to provide postpartum care in ways that are grounded, practical, and nurturing. Whether it’s feeding, soothing, sleep, light household tasks, or emotional support, my focus is on practical care that makes your nights easier. My mission is to reduce maternal health disparities while honoring the unique needs of each family I serve.

Hello, I’m Laurie. Natural Childbirth is my Passion!!! Women are far more powerful then they know!!! I am a mom of 4. After having one natural but unpleasant birth. And one Pitocin assisted birth, (which I don't recommend), I decided to try the Bradley method. I now have two Bradley babies. Both were born without any medical interventions or drugs, thanks to the Bradley method. I loved being in control of my labor and having my husband there, supporting me. My classes teach you How to work with your body, not against it. And help your partner to know how to support your laboring needs. So you can work together to get that precious bundle of joy out quicker and with less pain!!!👉YES, it’s possible! 😊 I became a Bradley instructor because I truly believe it works, I know first hand. I truly wouldn't birth any other way. I also love being able to meet all those cute babies. It's such an honor to make an impact in people's lives. By the end of class my students have become my friends and I wouldn't have it any other way. The Bradley method emphasizes that birth is a natural process: mothers are encouraged to trust their body and focus on diet and exercise throughout pregnancy to keep them low risk. It teaches couples to manage labor through relaxation, deep breathing and the support of a partner or labor coach. Bradley Method® classes teach families how to have natural births, by being their our doulas. The techniques are simple, effective, and based on information about how the human body works during labor.

Hi, I’m Yoli! 🤍👶 I’m a certified doula, an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse, and the proud **founder and owner of Vida Birth Support . Vida is a Latina-owned business based in Riverside County, California, proudly serving families throughout the Inland Empire and surrounding communities. As a bilingual provider, I am passionate about offering compassionate, culturally sensitive care in both English and Spanish, ensuring that every woman feels understood, respected, and genuinely supported—without language barriers. With years of hands-on experience in Labor & Delivery and Emergency Care, I have witnessed both the incredible beauty of childbirth and the challenges women face when navigating the healthcare system. Throughout my nursing career, I have cared for women during some of their most vulnerable and empowering moments. I have also witnessed too many mothers enter the delivery room feeling overwhelmed, unprepared, unheard, or uncertain about their choices. I knew I wanted to be part of changing that experience. That passion is what inspired me to create Vida Birth Support.💗 My vision was to build something that goes beyond traditional birth support—a place where education, advocacy, compassion, and empowerment come together to help women take an active role in their birth experience. At Vida, our mission is simple yet powerful: **To empower women through education, advocacy, and personalized support so they can approach childbirth feeling confident, informed, respected, and supported.** ✨ **Education Is Empowerment** We offer comprehensive childbirth education classes designed to help expectant mothers and their families understand the incredible changes happening throughout pregnancy, labor, and delivery. Our classes focus on understanding the stages of labor, pain management options, medical interventions, recognizing potential complications, understanding patient rights, and learning how to communicate effectively with the healthcare team. I believe that when a woman understands her body, her options, and her rights, she becomes better equipped to make informed decisions for herself and her baby. ✨ **Compassionate Doula Support** In addition to education, Vida provides personalized birth and postpartum doula services centered on emotional reassurance, physical comfort, encouragement, and continuous support. Our goal is to create an environment where mothers feel safe, respected, and empowered throughout their journey. Whether you're preparing for your first birth or welcoming another little blessing, our team is here to walk beside you, provide guidance, and help ensure your voice is heard. ✨ **A Mission Close to My Heart** As a Latina woman, a mother, and a nurse, this work is deeply personal to me. I understand the importance of having someone by your side who not only understands the medical aspects of childbirth but also recognizes the emotional, cultural, and personal significance of bringing a new life into the world. I am especially passionate about helping bridge the gaps in maternal healthcare and advocating for women who may feel overlooked, intimidated, or unheard. My goal is to build a community where every mother, regardless of her background, language, or circumstances, has access to education, compassionate support, and the confidence to advocate for herself. At Vida, I believe: 🤍 Every mama deserves to feel heard. 🤍 Every woman deserves to understand her choices. 🤍 Every birth deserves dignity and respect. 🤍 Every family deserves compassionate, culturally sensitive care. 🤍 And every mother deserves to enter her birth experience feeling prepared, powerful, and supported.
