Hi, I’m Priya, founder of Ashwariya Ayurveda and Maternal & Newborn Concierge™**. I am an Ayurvedic Practitioner and Nutritionist, Certified Birth Doula, Lactation Consultant, Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant, and Lamaze® Childbirth Educator. After a career in finance that included Goldman Sachs and fidessa, I stepped away to raise my three children. That chapter shaped my purpose: to be the person other parents can rely on to help them thrive in their careers and family lives. Since 1997, I have cared for more than 300 babies, including twins, premature infants, and NICU graduates. Each family has strengthened my commitment to care that supports both children and their parents. Your mental health is a priority in my care; I make space for honest conversations about exhaustion, overwhelm, identity, and the emotional adjustments of parenthood. Together, we create realistic feeding, sleep, and recovery plans that respect your needs and capacity. When additional support is needed, I help connect families with licensed mental health professionals. My personalized services include: - **Birth preparation and support:** Lamaze® education, Spinning Babies® and Body Ready Method® techniques, comfort measures, partner preparation, and advocacy for your preferences. - **Postpartum recovery:** Ayurvedic nourishment, belly binding, restorative bodywork, and attentive care during the fourth trimester. - **Lactation and feeding:** Weighted feeds, breastfeeding support, pumping and flange guidance, combination feeding, bottle selection, and return-to-work planning. - **Newborn and overnight care:** Experienced support that creates opportunities for rest, recovery, and confidence in caring for your baby. - **Pediatric sleep and development:** Gentle, individualized guidance from infancy through early childhood, including support for neurodivergent children. - **Family nutrition:** Nourishing meal plans tailored to your preferences, routines, and stage of life. The Best Support We Could Have Asked For! We had the immense blessing of working with Priya for both labor/delivery and postpartum care, and I can confidently say she was one of the greatest gifts of our entire journey into parenthood. As first-time parents, the transition can feel overwhelming, but her presence brought comfort, confidence, and so much peace into our home. From the very first moment, she was gentle, knowledgeable, and incredibly nurturing. Her care is rooted in deep Ayurvedic wisdom, and she combines it beautifully with modern newborn support. She went above and beyond in every way. ✨ Labor & Delivery Support Having her with me during labor and delivery made all the difference. She was calm, encouraging, and present through every contraction and every moment of uncertainty. Her guidance helped me stay mentally strong and physically supported. I truly don’t know how I would have done it without her. ✨ Newborn Care She cared for our baby with so much love — from Ayurvedic oil massages, creating gentle daily routines, helping with gas/colic relief, and supporting healthy sleep patterns. Every single thing was done so thoughtfully and respectfully. ✨ Postpartum Recovery For Me She didn’t just help with the baby — she took care of me as a mother: - Ayurvedic belly binding for core support - Warm oil massages - Herbal teas and foods that supported healing and milk production - Emotional and mental support on days I needed it most She made sure I rested, nourished my body, and felt seen and cared for — something every new mother deserves. ✨ Food & Meals Her freshly prepared Ayurvedic meals were amazing. Everything was warm, nourishing, and made to help my body recover and build strength. You can tell she puts her heart into every part of her work. ✨ Family Support She guided my husband, helped us understand newborn cues, and even shared tips that made our whole home more peaceful and soothing for the baby. Her knowledge is priceless. If you are considering Ayurvedic newborn care or postpartum support, don’t think twice. She is truly gifted at what she does. She combines expertise, intuition, and compassion in a way that is rare to find. We felt protected, encouraged, and cared for every single day. We absolutely love her and are so grateful for everything she brought into our lives. She will always be a special part of our birth and postpartum story. ❤️

Hi, I'm Taylor Clarke-Cameron, a birth and postpartum doula and childbirth educator based in New Jersey. Since launching my doula practice in December 2024, I've had the privilege of supporting 15 families and attending 13 births, and every single one has deepened my commitment to this work. Before stepping into birth work, I spent over a decade as a school administrator — advocating for individuals, navigating complex systems, and building trust with families during some of the most pivotal moments of their lives. That foundation shapes everything I do as a doula: I show up informed, steady, and fully in your corner. My mission is simple: every birthing person deserves to feel informed, empowered, and supported — no exceptions. I am proudly affirming of all families, including single parents, multicultural and multi-religious families, LGBTQIA+ families, parents with disabilities, parents who are neurodivergent, and those growing their families through adoption. My Approach Universal Support, Personal Touch Birth is universal—it's happened across cultures, centuries, and countless galaxies of human experience. Yet YOUR birth is uniquely yours, a wonder that deserves celebration and support tailored specifically to your needs. Whether you're a single parent writing your own heroic story, part of a multicultural or multi-religious family blending beautiful traditions, navigating parenthood in the LGBTQIA+ community, a differently-abled parent, a neurodivergent parent, or creating your family through adoption—I am here for YOU. Your journey matters, your choices are valid, and your experience deserves nothing less than stellar support.

Taylor was my birth doula, and I truly feel it was divine intervention that she came into my life—especially since my son was born on her birthday. From the very beginning, she was incredibly attentive, informative, and intentional in supporting both me and my husband. She created a detailed binder for us with guides on what to expect, postpartum care, exercises, and nutritious foods that were safe for both me and my baby. The information was so thorough that I never felt the need to search elsewhere. One moment that deeply stood out to me was when I shared that I wanted to play Surahs during my labor and delivery. At our next visit, Taylor had printed out different Surahs along with explanations of their purposes, making it easier for me to choose what I wanted to hear. That level of thoughtfulness meant so much to me. I also appreciated her honesty and professionalism. If she didn’t know something, she would say so—then either refer me to my midwives or research and follow up with me. During labor and delivery, she was calm, knowledgeable, and attentive. She impressed the medical staff, made me feel safe and advocated for, and ensured my husband felt supported and confident asking questions. Taylor made a huge impact on my first delivery, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better doula. Even now, she continues to send monthly emails with updates on my son’s development and what to expect as I heal. Taylor is amazing, and it’s clear she genuinely cares about what she does.

Hi, I’m Angela — a mother, grandmother, and postpartum doula based in New Jersey, proudly serving families throughout the NJ/NY/CT tristate area. I am deeply passionate about supporting families during the tender and transformative postpartum period, offering calm, compassionate care when it’s needed most. I have supported over 40 families and their newborns, some through birth, and several others through overnight postpartum care and newborn support, helping parents rest, recover, and confidently adjust to their new reality. While I also provide daytime care, my primary focus is overnight support for families who need specialized, hands-on assistance during the early weeks after birth. My passion for postpartum care grew from my own journey into motherhood, when I realized how essential it is for birthing parents to feel nurtured, supported, and truly seen after birth. What began as caring for family and friends naturally evolved into my calling as a postpartum doula. Later on, I expanded my work to support expectant mothers throughout pregnancy and birth, offering compassionate physical and emotional care. In addition to my doula work, I bring over 15 years of experience caring for children and teenagers, along with nearly two decades of volunteer service supporting parents, children, and teens in my community. I approach every family with warmth, respect, and a wholehearted commitment to helping you feel confident, supported, and cared for during this beautiful new chapter.

Being in postpartum has made a lot of things more difficult but Diane's help has made one of those hardest things so much more enjoyable and approachable. She was extremely non-judgmental, very attentive, and very observant. I thought all was lost and the meltdowns would be normal,,but after Diane's visit, both baby and I had a much easier time approaching breastfeeding.

I don’t know how I would have navigated my pregnancy and birth without Alexa. I wish I had found her earlier in my pregnancy but she showed up at just the right time! From my very first massage with Alexa, she made me feel seen, heard, and cared for. She took the time to understand my fears and hopes, and she held space for me in a way that made a world of difference. During pregnancy, her massages were moments where I could finally exhale, feel safe, and reconnect with my body. During labor, she was my anchor, reminding me that I was capable, and this was MY birth. Alexa was a source of warmth, reassurance, and love through our most vulnerable moments. She massaged my very swollen legs and feet all night into the morning, helped me find comfortable positions, and encouraged me every step of the way. But it was during my birth that her presence became something I will never forget. I did not have an easy delivery but Alexa brought comfort when I felt scared, strength when I felt overwhelmed, and a sense of calm that grounded me through every contraction and every wave of emotion that came after. Her massages helped me feel human again when pregnancy felt heavy, and her support during labor helped me tap into a strength I didn’t know existed inside me. Alexa's presence gave me the confidence I needed to endure such an intense experience. I’ll forever be thankful for her support. I also loved having her in our home for our postpartum visit and sharing my beautiful boy with her. For any first-time mom, Alexa is an absolute gift. She gave us more than support, she gave us peace. I’ll treasure her role in our story forever.??

Having Michelle as part of our birth process was one of the absolute best decisions we made. We really wanted someone who had a deep knowledge and could help prepare us yet also be emotionally / psychologically supportive - and she was incredible. Her calm yet empowering energy, her levelheaded acumen, her kind consideration and openness - she made all the difference not only in the delivery room but before and after as well! Michelle prepared us thoroughly regarding what to expect, provided us lots of 'tools' (i.e. resources, information, exercises, etc) to have in our toolbox, and when things were happening during labor she was a grounding presence able to help ask the right questions, make sure I was approaching things the way I wanted to, and we felt incredibly supported the whole time. She made the room a little oasis which I truly believe contributed to me relaxing and ultimately having a smooth delivery. She is the best - anyone would be lucky to have her on their team. <3

Our experience with Liz was truly wonderful! With Liz, you will feel safe, heard, & held through one of the most important moments of your life. When we initially spoke, it was probably 2 minutes into the conversation when we knew she was the right doula. The call ended, my husband & I looked at each other & immediately said, "I LOVED her." Liz laid out everything that we should expect, & did it in a way where we didn't feel judged. Others had tried to convince us that we had unresolved trauma, or had made mistakes in previous births. Liz's trust in us knowing what we needed was so reassuring. During the pregnancy, Liz is there if you need her, checking in to see how appts. went, & getting a feel for your mindset approaching birth. Liz was vital in my ability to remain calm as my due date came, then passed by 9 days! We discussd ways to help encourage labor, different scenarios as 42 weeks approached, & reassurances that my baby & body knew what they were doing. Being a 3rd time mom I really thought I knew it all, but when things went so much longer than we all expected, I was so grateful to have Liz's calm & confident presence. At OBC, Liz arrived exactly when I needed her. She easily fit into the flow of labor offering assistance to me, & guiding my husband to help through contractions. Liz understands when to step to the forefront, & also when to hang back. Her experience & presence in the birthing space made me feel more supported & calm than I had previously. My labor was fast, but I never felt like I lost control. Liz took stunning photos during birth, capturing all of the phases of labor, recovery, & beautiful shots of the baby. The photos will be cherished by our family for the rest of our lives! Liz doesn't disappear after you're done having the baby. She checks in during your recovery at home, & even comes to visit. We loved working with Liz!

DONA certified Birth doula, licensed massage therapist, personal trainer, Placenta Specialist and group fitness instructor, specializing in pre and post natal health and recovery. Hollie has had a love and passion for birth work for most of her adult life. After delivering her first baby 10 years ago, with the assistance of incredible doulas, she knew one day she would also become a doula. Hollie has been a massage therapist and personal trainer for nearly 20 years, working with pregnant and postpartum mothers, while raising her 3 boys. Once her youngest came to an age that she felt confident in moving into the birth worker world, she jumped in! Hollie has a deep passion for the amazing and magical experience of birth. She believes that every one who chooses to conceive, deserves the full support during this incredible time in their life.

Recent review

I honestly cannot thank Hollie enough for everything that she did to make my first pregnancy and birthing experience EXACTLY what I wanted them to be. I knew I wanted to work with a doula even before trying to get pregnant, because the statistics on medical care during childbirth for Black women in the US are shameful, and I wanted someone to be present during my birth who saw me as a person, and not just a patient. I reached out to Hollie towards the end of my third trimester, assuming the most I would get is some advice on how to finish out my last few weeks of pregnancy because it was so late, but from the first phone call, Hollie was genuinely interested in me and the family that my husband and I wanted to build and how we wanted to build it. She immediately made me feel safe. Hollie provided me constant support and advice whenever I needed it, no matter the time of the day. I always felt comfortable to reach out to her and never felt like a burden. Hollie was there for the birth of my baby girl and she set such a peaceful and encouraging atmosphere for me in the delivery room. She interacted really well with the hospital staff and made me and my husband feel equipped and knowledgeable enough to advocate for ourselves during my labor. Hollie had a great balance during my pregnancy and delivery of checking in without being overbearing or causing me to worry. And one of her superpowers is that she did a great job of giving information objectively without telling us what to do or making us feel pressured to choose one option over another. She was so incredibly supportive of all of our decisions. In the end, Hollie definitely set expectations well, and then exceeded those expectations. I never thought I'd be so comfortable during childbirth, and that is all thanks to Hollie. I couldn't have asked for a more kind, compassionate, attentive and knowledgeable doula than Hollie. Even now that my daughter is here, Hollie still checks in and I am able to ask her anything. If I have the opportunity to have Hollie present at all future births, I will do so in a heartbeat. I recommend Hollie to every pregnant woman I know and I truly hope they listen. Hollie is the absolute best.
