Hello! Are you looking for in home Childbirth Education or Postpartum weekend support? Thank you for looking at my profile. I'm excited to learn all about you and how best I can support you! I have worked as a Nanny for 17 years and I'm a mother to 4 of my own who are now adults. I work with a local postpartum doula agency but I am able to take clients that I meet on my own. Like you! I am registered on Trustline with a clean background, and CPR certified. I have completed 2 DONA workshops, Birth Doula and Postpartum Doula, but still working on my certification. I am a certified Childbirth Educator through Cornerstone Doula Training. The services I provide are: *Childbirth Education from a physiological standpoint and evidence based information. *Postpartum Doula support for overnights or daytime schedules. What that includes is a list created with you. Like many of us who have decided to become Doulas, I would like to provide the support and resources that I would have enjoyed. I have vivid postpartum memories of struggling to get through each day while absolutely sleep deprived and so stressed that I'm doing everything wrong. My goal is help you rest, feel nourished, and supported! I know that each parent and family are unique! My goal is to learn from you how can I support you. I'm not going to walk in assuming that I know how you feel or what your needs are. Every person is different! I feel each birthing and postpartum person deserves to feel heard, respected, and supported. My fees are on the lower end than those you find with Doulas and Childbirth Educators with experience specific to birth work. Thank you for reading! I look forward to working with you.

I live in OC with my three amazing children! If I’m not at a birth, you will find us at the beach surfing, playing, and enjoying the outdoors. I fell in love with all things birth when I became pregnant with my 1st child in 2008. As an avid reader and researcher, I made it my goal to learn everything I possibly could about the biology and physiology of birth, and how to have optimal health during and after pregnancy for both me and my baby. Like many first-time moms I have worked with, I had hesitations about giving birth to my 1st baby outside of a hospital setting. After all my research, classes, and conversations with midwives, I gained confidence in aiming for an unmedicated birthing experience. I found some lovely midwifes who had a midwifery ward in a hospital and gave birth to my 1st son unmedicated. Twenty-four hours of intense back labor from a posterior-positioned baby …but, I did it! My body actually did it! After birthing my first, statistically knowing it was the most challenging and longest labor, gave me confidence to choose home births for my second and third children. I had a successful home water birth with my second child and wanted to repeat that with my third. However, while laboring on the toilet with him, I suddenly dropped to my knees when he began to crown, and he became known as my bathroom floor “butter birth” baby :). Though I chose unmedicated births for myself, I do know it is not for everyone, which is more than OK! I quickly learned from my role as a doula that every woman’s body, medical history, and background are uniquely different. Many factors play into choosing the right birth for you. I am here to come alongside you, help you make an informed decision, and then support you every step of the way. I offer very personable and compassionate care. My approach is non-agenda-based, trauma-informed, and holistic-minded. No matter your history or past experiences, I am here to be a safe place for you. I will help educate, support, and advocate for you and your personal wishes. I look forward getting to know you and building a trusting relationship to where you feel 100% comfortable having me by your side for one of the biggest days of your life. 🙂 I am here for you! I love Perri! She was there for me last minute for my birth and i wouldn’t have made it without her. She took on almost everything and got me to understand the nurses and doctors. As a single mom i was overwhelmed, nervous, terrified, and more. With with all that, I’m glad she showed up last minute when she was called because i had literally no one that could be there and by the grace of god she showed up and so did my sons godmother. She doesn’t just stop at the hospital. Still, throughout my postpartum, she has still given me 110% support and is able to guide me into motherhood smoothly. She will forever be apart of our lives. I 100000/10 recommend her to any mothers in need of a supportive doula.

Oh my God, I love Pearl! Every time I need to book an appointment, I look forward to seeing her. During my prenatal visits, she was always so supportive. Whenever I complained about back pain, she would give me a back rub that really helped. She also taught me breathing techniques and shared many helpful tips throughout my pregnancy. After my baby was born, Pearl continued to be an amazing support. She showed me how to bathe my baby and helped me feel more confident as a new mom. She would even watch my baby while I took a shower, ate a meal, or took care of personal things. I highly recommend Pearl to anyone looking for a caring, knowledgeable, and supportive doula. She truly goes above and beyond for her clients!

A calling that has been nurtured for 32 years. I began my career with children as a teenage babysitter. I have been fascinated by child development since I was little more than a child myself. Arriving in the USA in 1991 from Barranquilla, Colombia I was immediately employed by Universal Studios Child Care Center. This experience offered a wide range of infants to care for and deepened my desire to advance in my calling as a childcare specialist. It was in my interactions with various parents that I soon realized how what came naturally to me was frightening to some. In a very short time, parents were asking me to provide services outside of the care center. I was helping with establishing baby sleep schedules, nighttime care and creating baby routines for families. In 1998 I had met my birthing doula trainer and mentor Carmen of Gyntle Touch Birth. At Carmen’s recommendation I also became a certified massage therapist from Touch Therapy Institute. Immediately I offered my time as a birthing and prenatal doula to help low-income unwed mothers. This was my way of giving back in gratitude of my being able to pursue my life’s purpose and obtain a vast amount of experience with a diverse group of mothers. Over the last 32 years I have worked with hundreds of families, from birthing babies, preparing hospital care routines and directives, setting up nursery supplies, prenatal doula, lactation coach, night care, postpartum care, pregnancy and baby massage. Along the way I married and was blessed to deliver my own two children, with my mentor Carmen presiding as my birthing doula. A not so well-kept secret is that my husband and I are gourmet chefs, an additional service many families are excited to have made available to them. I consider myself truly blessed in that I am able to share in the most important part of a family. Incredibly, many of the children I have had a hand in raising continue to contact me throughout their life. I have had the wonderfully good fortune to attend many, confirmations, bar & bat mitzvahs, graduations from elementary, Jr. High, High School, College and recently my first Graduate school ceremony. I respect privacy and discretion, am able to travel, provide meal preparation and offer household management services.

We found Diana through Doulas of OC. She served as our birth doula as well as a postpartum night doula... If we have a second baby, Diana will be on speed dial again. If you are able to use Diana you will not be disappointed.

Birth. Strength. Motherhood. I believe every woman deserves to feel strong, informed, and deeply connected to her body before, during, and after birth. My role is to help her build that foundation so she can move through motherhood with confidence, resilience, and trust in herself.

The first words I think of while describing my family's experience with Luna Bruno is "our angel on Earth". I was fortunate enough to meet Luna while she was training to become a Midwife at a birth center I was receiving care at for a few weeks. Life had some hiccups and I no longer had any prenatal care at all. I immediately knew that if I wasn't going to have a Dr./Midwife by my side, I 100% needed a woman who can help me connect with every bit of strength I had in me to get through what I was about to experience. Beginning to end Luna tailored not only to my husband and I's needs, but she also tailored her work style and ethic around who we are as people. She took thoughtful time understanding our mindsets, concerns, and lifestyle to translate them all into the care she provided throughout our journey. No matter who you are, if your goal is to channel your upmost STRENGTH pre/post natal, Luna is the woman to help empower you through it all. There was not one single moment where we felt unsupported, alone, unsure, or not advocated for properly. My favorite part about working with Luna was knowing that this is not just some job title for her, this is who she is, you can feel the passion for her work threaded into every part of her honest work. Both my husband and I (+my new little baby if he could type) would 1000% recommend Luna Bruno as your Doula.

As your doula, my role is to support you and your family in the way that best helps you feel calm, confident, and present throughout labor. That might look like hands-on support to help you labor more comfortably at home, guiding your partner in how to do the same, offering gentle coaching as you breathe through contractions, or even quietly capturing photos and keeping loved ones updated. Every birth is unique, and I’m flexible to your goals and desires—even if they shift as labor unfolds. While some people picture doulas as very “woo-woo” or mystical, my style is more grounded and pragmatic. I believe in giving you practical tools, evidence-based guidance, and steady encouragement so you can navigate the challenges of labor with clarity and confidence. I love preparing families by educating them about what to expect and how to respond intentionally, rather than react impulsively in the moment. My professional background is in leadership, mentorship, and professional development, and I bring that same skillset into my doula work—helping you tap into your own strength, stay relaxed, and move through labor as smoothly as your body allows. My ultimate goal is to help you experience the fastest, easiest birth your body is capable of, while holding space for you to feel calm, supported, and fully present in the process.

Having Alix as our doula was the best decision my husband and I made for our birth. I had a long and unexpected labor, and she was our rock through it all. She was knowledgeable, reliable, kind, and incredibly supportive. Alix helped us communicate with the medical staff during stressful moments, making us feel heard and confident in our decisions. She also knew exactly when to step in and when to give us the privacy we needed, which I appreciated so much. After delivery, she helped me with breastfeeding and continued to support us when we needed it most. I truly can't imagine our birth experience without her. I highly recommend Alix to anyone looking for a compassionate and amazing doula.

I cannot express how much Shaina helped me in my pregnancy and birth experience. This was my first time giving birth. For our initial virtual visit, she shared so much information on different types of stretches, movements, and hospital jargon that was very beneficial beforehand. I ended up being induced due to a medical reason, and I don't think I could have given birth without Shaina. She help me with contractions by using a tens machine, she used pressure points, massaged my shoulders while I was in pain, reminded me to relax and how to breathe. When you're in a high stress moment like birth, you forget all of the things you learned, ex. Breathing/moving, so it was helpful to have someone to remind you of the helpful tools! Most importantly, she was an amazing advocate. I consulted her when it came to making decisions during labor. She was so knowledgeable, she would often advocate on my behalf to the nurses to get me what I needed! She didn't take no for an answer! I was so grateful to have her be part of my birth experience, and I would highly recommend her to any woman who wants to feel supported in birth!

First, I want to say, I never knew what a doula was or is. So I am writing this from the bottom of my heart to express my deepest gratitude for the incredible support, care, and guidance Nicole provided during my granddaughter's labor and delivery at the hospital. As a grandmother watching a loved one welcome a new baby, seeing her go through such an intense experience can bring a mix of worry and hope. My first time meeting or talking to Nicole was at the hospital. The moment she stepped into the room, she had a calming presence sbout her. When asked questions, she spoke with reassuring words, and expert gentle touch brought an immense sense of peace to our entire family. Nicole's anticipated her needs, advocated for her comfort, and held space for her with such profound grace, professionalism, and warmth. Nicole truly did a beautiful job, and watching her work was a blessing. Nicole helped make this momentous arrival a peaceful and empowering experience that we will always cherish. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your dedication, your compassionate heart, and the wonderful care you gave to my granddaughter. Lolita

Noa is THE BEST. My husband and I met her a couple of weeks postpartum when she appeared at our doorstep at 10p sharp as our overnight doula so we could sleep. Not only did Noa take excellent, loving care of our daughter and leave our house *spotless* in the morning (dishes, bottles, tidying, pump parts, laundry -- you name it, she did it), but she quickly became a wonderful friend and confidant. She brought joy, calm, and laughter into our house during a time that could be so emotionally fraught, and, boy, did we appreciate her for it. We had so much fun! What a far cry from my first postpartum experience, where we had no support and white-knuckled our way through. I know Noa is no longer doing overnight postpartum care, but I am confident that Noa brings the same energy, thoughtfulness, care, and diligence (and good humor) to labor. It's who she is. We actually first met Noa when she taught our labor class, and it was clear during the day-long course that she would be an amazing labor doula. Not only does Noa know her stuff, but she connects with moms and partners to empower them and help them accomplish the labor experience they want. If we were to have another baby, I would 1000% want Noa by my side during delivery.
