Couldn’t be more grateful for the support from Elizabeth & Amy! I hired them as my doula team and it was one of the best decisions I made for my pregnancy and birth experience. We had 2 prenatal visits and 1 postpartum visit, and they answered all of our questions without ever making us feel rushed. As a first-time mom who had an OB, I felt strongly pulled to hire them for extra support - and I’m so thankful I followed that instinct. Thanks to Elizabeth, I had an unmedicated birth. She believed in me when I needed it most and guided me through every contraction with so much calm and confidence. I delivered a healthy baby girl (6 lbs 9 oz), and I will always be grateful for the role she played in one of the most important days of my life. They offer 24/7 WhatsApp support - even months after birth - which made my partner and I feel supported and never alone during early parenthood. They are incredibly knowledgeable, warm, relatable, and genuinely wonderful people. Amy is also super tech-savvy, so everything felt organized and seamless from start to finish. I truly felt cared for as a new mom. I would highly, highly recommend them. The whole experience was amazing!

Chantell helped me tremendously after I gave birth to my son. I had a caesarean so I needed all the help I could get. She would help me with light cleaning, caring for him and attended appointments with us. She also provided me lots of emotional support as well, as I was a young first time mother and she was very patient and understanding with me. Overall she is very supportive and nurturing and I’m sure if you chose her, you would not be disappointed!

There are no words to describe the unbelievable value and knowledge that Emily brought through my entire pregnancy, birth and postpartum. I always knew I wanted to have a doula especially at birth, but I didn’t realize the important role Emily would play. She educates you throughout pregnancy and provides you with a range of resources. You learn about what is happening during your body at the time as well as birth itself and your choices during labour. My birth was not the way I had imagined it would go. But having the knowledge and being able to advocate for myself in what I wanted at the time allowed me to have an empowering birth no matter the outcome. Emily was the one who made sure we knew our choices every step of the way. I had never felt so prepared or confident for what I was predicting to be a HUGE challenge. Having a doula is literally like having a passionate best friend, who you can count on at any time and who is a constant wealth of knowledge! Emily especially, is a warm, positive, compassionate and unbelievably supportive human. She makes you feel comfortable in your most vulnerable moments. My husband really enjoyed working with her and the encouragement of labour techniques that they tag teamed during labour. He kept saying, “I couldn’t have done it without Emily”, as she was there the entire longggg labour. Another amazing benefit Emily has provided us with is that after birth she will answer any phone call or text with questions, which is so appreciated when you're sleep deprived and have no clue how to care for a new baby. She is especially knowledgeable with breastfeeding, helping our baby get the perfect latch! I hope we are able to conceive again one day and have Emily with us every step of the way! She truly is the positive light everyone should have during the most vulnerable times!

Hi there! My journey as a birth and postpartum doula began with a simple yet powerful realization: too many families face parenthood weighed down by fear, doubt, and isolation. My work is about helping you build confidence, trust your instincts, and embrace the beautiful, imperfect journey of parenthood with peace and strength. From the very first flutter of possibility through the tender, tiring, beautiful early days of parenthood, my team and I aim to be the bridge that helps families feel supported, informed, and empowered. My approach to birth blends practical knowledge with heartfelt care—nurturing nutrition, mindset preparation, and gentle body movement—so every family feels ready, capable, and never alone. When I'm not serving as a doula, you'll find me nose-deep in a book, wandering through nature, or soaking up time with my own family—the very thing that inspired this work in the first place.

Fiona was absolutely amazing! She prepared us so much for postpartum that we had minor issues. During my labour she was the reason I felt supported enough for my husband to deliver our baby, she also did prep with him beforehand and everyone was raving about how well he did! We had a beautiful experience, she made me feel so safe. I couldn’t have gotten through my labour so well without her. I had an absolutely beautiful stress free home birth with her. We will definitely be booking her for the next 😅☺️

As a mother of three, I understand firsthand the beauty and challenges that come with the postpartum journey. My work as a postpartum and birth doula is rooted in deep empathy and genuine care, qualities that have only been strengthened through my experience raising a special needs child. I bring calm, nonjudgmental support to families as they adjust to life with a newborn, offering both practical help and emotional reassurance. Over the past several years, I have supported families through both hospital and home births, navigating many different birth experiences and outcomes. I remain a steady advocate throughout, ensuring that families feel heard, respected, and empowered in every decision. My experience also includes childbirth education, lactation education, and newborn sleep support, helping parents feel prepared, confident, and informed from pregnancy through postpartum. My goal is always to nurture both baby and parents, creating a peaceful, supported environment where healing and bonding can truly thrive.

Victoria was my Doula for both my first and second babies, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Shannon Nickerson

Christian doula serving mothers in the GTA & beyond, throughout pregnancy, birth, & postpartum. Personalized birth support rooted in physiology, faith, & hope. As one of nine children, my love for children, pregnancy, and birth began early, inspired by my mother’s own birth stories. This passion led me to become a certified doula through GoMidwife and Intentional Birth, along with additional midwifery education and a year-long apprenticeship under a midwife in the US. Having supported over 70 women through pregnancy and birth, I am passionate about helping mothers understand physiologic birth, navigate their options, communicate confidently with their care providers, and make informed decisions. I believe God has intricately designed women’s bodies to birth and nurture their babies, while also recognizing that medical intervention is sometimes necessary. My goal is to equip and encourage women to approach birth with confidence, trust, and hope—and to feel empowered as they welcome their babies and enter motherhood.

She shared so much knowledge and went above and beyond in sharing resources and answering our questions. She helped us feel informed, prepared, and confident every step of the way. I don’t even know where to begin in describing how grateful I am for Petra and the incredible support she gave me, my husband, and our son born in April 2024. She was, in every sense of the word, the doula of our dreams. We call her our 'fairy godmother.' We were first-time parents who truly didn’t know what we were doing. Petra walked into our home with a calm, reassuring presence that immediately made us feel safe and supported. Petra never made us feel judged or inadequate — instead, she showed us step by step how to care for our newborn, starting with the first step into our house from the hospital, and my question of, "umm, so where do I put him?". From there, she patiently taught us all the practical skills (feeding, burping, bathing, diapering, soothing, etc.), as we had no idea what we were doing. All the books I read while pregnant did not prepare me for the real thing. Petra prepared us for the real thing. More than the “how-to,” Petra gave us peace of mind. She answered every question with kindness and expertise. She normalized our fears, reassured us when we second-guessed ourselves, and reminded us that we were doing a good job. She also cared for us as parents. She encouraged us to rest, to eat, and to breathe. Her presence lifted so much of the anxiety from those early days and gave us space to bond with our baby rather than drown in uncertainty. Petra was everything we hoped for in a doula: knowledgeable, nurturing, reliable, compassionate, and endlessly patient. She went above and beyond. I can say without exaggeration that she helped us survive and truly enjoy those first weeks as a new family. Suyin also contributed to the post-partum support of our family as my lactation consultant. You really just don't know how difficult breast feeding is until you try it! Suyin helped me with latch, positioning, and confidence. Her visits at our home were comfortable and stress-free, and she helped turned breast-feeding into something I could actually enjoy. I can’t recommend her enough!

Ciera supported our family with postpartum doula services 5 days a week for just over 4 months following the birth of our daughter, and what a difference she made. She is professional, dependable and quickly became well integrated within the household (our older children were always excited to see her!). She has such a way with babies, our daughter very quickly developed into a sound overnight sleeper. We were also grateful that she worked with us to ensure we could be reimbursed through Carrot insurance. I would recommend Ciera to any expecting parent who is looking for calm guidance, professional support and loving care for their newborns.
