Hi all, my name is Debra Young and I am a Certified Birth and Postpatum Doula, Lactation Support located in South Lyon, MI. My career has been working with family and children. Coming from a background in Social Work and Clinical Therapy, I believe birth can be calm, peaceful and joyus, if we set the right atmosphere with positive and constructive plan. Nurturing Doula Care, LLC tries to create comfortable and non-judgmental environment for all parents seeking informational and emotional support. In my free time, I enjoy being creative, decorating, making centerpieces, cooking and enjoying family, my husband, children, grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
I have nothing but great things to say about Debra! I was her client during 2024, and had my son in November 2024. I never hired a doula with my oldest so the process was as new to me and I wasn't sure what to expect, but Debra met me where I was at and guided me through the process so it was effortless. She was always available either by text or call and always checked in on me and made sure that I had any information and support I may need! I'm not in contact with my mother so Debra, being and mother and grandmother herself brought the motherly vibes which looking back is something I personally preferred Vs having a doula around my age. She actively listened to my preferences surrounding my birth experience and when the time came she was both respectful and thoughtful of my wishes. She advocated for things I didn't want in the delivery room for me while I was deep in labor. If you want a kind, caring, compassionate, reliable, and loving doula please don't think twice about hiring Debra you will not regret it!

Plymouth, Michigan
Hi, I’m Amanda! I am a licensed psychotherapist and perinatal mental health specialist. Helping moms adjust to (and actually enjoy!) their motherhood role is my passion. I work with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (postpartum anxiety and rage are my special areas of interest), as well as with mamas that just need little extra support as you navigate raising good humans; strengthening your relationship after baby; and managing the mental load of motherhood.
Farmington Hills, Michigan
I specialize in maternal, infant and early childhood mental health and wellness. With a relational focus and holistic approach I support birthing individuals and families through pregnancy, postpartum and beyond.
Dearborn, Michigan
With certification in perinatal mood disorders, and personal experience as a wife and mother, I am well-suited to help women navigate the complexities of pregnancy, childbirth, and motherhood. Although starting a family has its joys, it also brings all kinds of unexpected stresses. I help with problems such as: adjusting to the demands of motherhood, bonding with baby, caring for ill baby, problems with intimacy or connection with partner, self-care, balancing home and work demands, low family support, miscarriage, post-partum depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, obsessions, loss, and grief.
