Long before becoming a doula, I understood the importance of supporting mothers because I had experienced motherhood myself. Today, as both a mother and grandmother, I've had the privilege of watching motherhood unfold across generations. Those experiences have given me a deep appreciation for just how significant birth is. Every mother is different. Every baby is different. And every birth story is different. That's why I believe good doula care begins with listening.
