My journey into birth work began eight years ago after the birth of my son and deepened through my experience as a gestational surrogate and, most recently, the birth of my daughter this past summer. Those journeys which were both beautiful and challenging, showed me the power of feeling seen and supported. My own doula’s care really inspired me to offer that same gift to others. I hold a Master’s in Counseling, am a National Certified Counselor, and am a Certified Doula through New Beginnings Doula Training. I’m currently pursuing my Licensed Professional Counselor credential and Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C). My first pregnancy was tough I was far from family member. It was just my husband and I wish I had a doula to feel that comfort and joy that we were expecting. I don't want anyone to feel that way. It's amazing to be able to carry a little one in our belly's. My other two pregnancy I had different injuries, when your pregnancy there so much we need to be careful about and when I was in the park I hurt my legs because there was a metal pole where I couldn't see it because my belly was big. Lastly I had broken my pelvic. Thank God I am heal from everything that has happened to me. I was still able to give birth naturally 3 times. The first 1 with Epidural.. I have learn so much about Nutrition, how to increase breast milk. How to prevent injuries how to prevent miscarriages. How to stay fit while pregnant and how to have a smooth labor and recovery. I have learn massage for lower back pain. I don't have my credentials but I have more experience and have helped many women. I hope that I can help you too!
