I'm a fertility and birth doula offering evidence-based, compassionate support from conception through birth. Fertility Support Trying to conceive can feel like waiting for answers your body isn't giving you yet. I help you get to know your cycle - what it's telling you, when you're actually fertile, and what's normal versus worth asking a provider about - so you feel like an informed participant in your own fertility, not a bystander to it. My focus is natural, at-home conception through cycle tracking and fertility awareness (the FEMM method), and I also support families pursuing IUI, IVF, or surrogacy when that's the path that fits. Birth Support Ava Dickson and I work as a team, because we believe you shouldn't have to hope the right doula is available the night you go into labor - you should already know both of us, and trust both of us. You'll have us together at every prenatal visit, with direct, ongoing access to both of us throughout your pregnancy. We alternate on-call weeks, so whichever of us is with you at your birth, the other is your backup - meaning the person supporting you already knows your story, your preferences, and your fears, because we built your care plan together from day one. We work alongside your medical providers, not around them, to help you understand your options, advocate for yourself, and feel calm, confident, and fully supported through labor and birth.

I am a licensed midwife practicing in Minnesota. I have two office locations in the South Metropolitan area of the Twin Cities: One located in Elko New Market, and the other in Montgomery. I have served the birthing community for over 30 years. I believe all parents deserve judgement-free, evidence-based support during their labor, birth and postpartum. My journey to fully birth obsessed began during my first pregnancy. I needed to know all the things and hear all the stories. I quickly learned that many birthing people, especially those in marginalized communities, do not receive the care they deserve during their journey to and through parenthood. This is when I discovered doulas and the support they provide. So I hired my doula, had two supported and empowering in-hospital birth experiences and went on my way as a mom of two, working a typical 9-5 in corporate marketing— never quite shaking a new found desire to make a difference in the birth community. Fast forward a few years, endless heart-to-hearts with my family and friends about making a change and I finally enrolled in a doula training. My journey into birth work began with nearly a decade of experience in the assisted reproductive technology industry, both professionally and personally as a three-time gestational carrier. Those experiences lit a fire in me that has only grown stronger with time. I am, at heart, a total birth nerd, especially when it comes to the biomechanics of labor. I am endlessly fascinated by pelvic dynamics: how the pelvis moves, how a baby navigates through it, and how small positional shifts can open space and work with physiology rather than against it. This passion led me to complete training in the Body Ready Method, an evidence-based approach focused on preparing the body for physiologic birth. Understanding the interplay between posture, movement, and fetal positioning is not just an intellectual interest for me. It is something I bring directly to your labor support.
