Amina is literally the best and choosing her as a doula was one of the best decisions i’ve made. Her vast experience made my birthing process positive. She is very humble and honest. She stood and helped me throughout my delivery and calmed me down during labor pains and made my vaginal delivery possible. I would highly recommend her if someone is looking for a perfect doula.

My approach is deeply rooted in the healing wisdom of Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), helping new parents feel nurtured, balanced, and empowered through every stage of their journey. I specialize in Ayurvedic postpartum massage and belly binding wrap, baby massage & infant bodywork, and breastfeeding difficulty support for newborn families.

Recent review

I worked with Heng Ma for six weeks after giving birth, and it was one of the best decisions I made for my postpartum recovery. Heng combines incredible skill with deep wisdom from traditional Chinese postpartum and newborn care. She taught me hands-free breastfeeding positions and how to nurse or pump while lying down. They are total game changers for a tired new mom! She also cooked delicious Chinese postpartum meals that not only tasted amazing but truly helped my body heal faster. Every day, she gave my baby a full body massage, and I’m sure it made a huge difference. My baby never had colic or constipation issues. Heng’s care, knowledge, and kindness made me feel supported, understood, and confident as a new mom. I can’t recommend her enough!

Hi! I’m a birth doula, childbirth educator, and lactation counselor with a background in osteopathic medicine and a deep passion for perinatal support. During medical school, I saw how the way we approach and nurture pregnancy and birth can shape early family experience, creating lasting ripple effects. In addition to birth work, I lead parent support groups through PEPS and am a mom of two teens. I understand how unpredictable and transformative the journey into parenthood can be, and my role is to help you feel grounded in the moment and ready for what comes next. Every parent brings their own values and lived experiences—sometimes joyful, always complex—and I offer steady support and advocacy tailored to your unique path.

Working with Jen was one of the best decisions I made for my birth. From the start, she brought a calm, confident, and grounding presence that felt so reassuring. She took the time to understand not just what my birth plan was, but why it mattered to me (which I think made all the difference when things didn’t go exactly as I originally hoped). Throughout pregnancy, she stayed in close contact and was always available when I felt worried or confused. Her guidance through the confusing days of pre/early labor and her arrival as soon as we needed more support made me feel really cared for. During labor, Jen really helped me cope with contractions and stay calm in between. She helped me get into a good flow and pulled many helpful things out of her toolbox (both metaphorically and literally) without disrupting my rhythm. Hospitals make me uneasy, but she helped me stay focused no matter what was going on around me. She kept me grounded when things got intense and I doubted myself. Jen interacted effortlessly with the medical team and brought up helpful questions I wouldn’t have known to ask (monitoring, IV placement, positioning especially during pushing). Between preparation during prenatal meetings and Jen’s encouragement and advocacy during my birth, I was able to stay confident and really be in the moment when my baby arrived. I can’t imagine going through pregnancy and birth without her.

Dear Mother, Congratulations on the new life growing within you! Pregnancy, birth, and motherhood are sacred journeys, and I honor the beauty of this season in your life. You are fearfully and wonderfully made, and so is your baby. I am praying for you—for peace in your heart, strength in your body, and wisdom as you prepare for this incredible transition. Know that you are not alone, and that God is with you every step of the way. Hi, I’m Stephani, and I am honored to walk alongside families as they navigate pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. As a Christian doula, I can provide a strong foundation of prayer and biblical affirmations to help you find peace in the unknowns of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Whether it’s through prayer, worship music, Christian hypnobirthing, or Bible-based affirmations, I will support you in creating a birth experience that reflects your faith and values. "I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers." – Ephesians 1:16 (ESV)

Stephani provided post-partum doula service to me and to say that she went above and beyond is an understatement. She has an intimate knowledge of the post-partum period and great skill in nourishing a new mama. She was culturally-sensitive to our family, and there for whatever we needed - meals, massage, a listening ear. Stephani's attentiveness was a joy and comfort during a challenging post-partum period.

I recently reconnected with Sage and she asked me to post a review, since I was the very first birth she ever attended. Sage wasn't a doula when she was there for my kids births, she was just a friend who had given birth before, and who offered to support me when I was young, inexperienced and alone. I had a boyfriend, but they were his first kids too and we were both scared. Between us asking her to be at the birth, and me going into labor the first time, she learned so so much about birth and postpartum and taught me so much. I didn't go to a birth class but I felt way more prepared one she started sharing what she'd learned. When the time came, and I was in labor, I told her and she drove from Atascadero to San Diego, made the 6 hour drive in 5 hours, and was with us for the hardest part of the birth. I still wonder if I could have done it without her help and I really don't think so. Having her there with me was so helpful that I even asked her to be there for my son a few years later, and asked her to go to a friend's birth as well. I'm really glad that she's doing this now, even if it took her 15 years before she decided to do it. I'm so glad we reconnected and I could share this, and I'm so proud to be the very first birth she attended and supported.

My deep and wholehearted devotion to the optimization of your prenatal, delivery, and postnatal experience is not only evident in my loving, hands-on approach, but also in the joy-filled outcomes we share.

Ace helped prepare myself and my husband for natural labor as I was hoping for a vbac. The techniques she showed us helped relieve pressure in my back in the last couple of weeks. This was my second baby and I knew nothing ever goes to plan. I ended up having a repeat c section. I went in for my 38 week appointment and was told baby was coming the same day. I messaged ace and she was able to make it and be there with us. I had a horrible experience with my first c section and having the extra support there helped me get through it and it was a dar better experience than my first. I won’t be having anymore kids but if I did, I would definitely hire Ace again as my doula. She was amazing in every way possible.

I believe birth is not just a medical event — it’s a deeply personal, transformative experience, and the way you are supported matters. As a birth doula, my role is to provide steady, evidence-based support while centering you: your preferences, your intuition, and your sense of safety. I support families through pregnancy, labor, birth, and the early postpartum period with calm presence, clear information, and compassionate advocacy. Whether your birth unfolds exactly as planned or takes unexpected turns, you deserve to feel informed, respected, and supported every step of the way. I work with all birth settings and outcomes — hospital births, unmedicated or medicated labors, planned or unplanned cesareans — and I meet each family where they are, without judgment. My approach is grounded in current evidence, emotional attunement, and the understanding that there is no “right” way to give birth — only what is right for you. Clients often tell me they feel more confident, less overwhelmed, and better prepared after working together. I aim to be a steady presence you can lean on — someone who helps you understand your options, supports your partner, and creates space for you to stay connected to your body and your baby. If you’re looking for a doula who is calm, knowledgeable, and deeply invested in your experience — I would be honored to support you.

From the moment I decided to choose Olena, I have never regretted it. From the very beginning, Olena was incredibly attentive and supportive. Her two prenatal visits were incredibly helpful. She clearly explained what to expect during labor and helped me prepare for the upcoming challenges both mentally and physically. She demonstrated valuable pelvic floor exercises that gave me confidence and preparedness for my future labor. Throughout my entire labor, she was very responsive to my needs and ensured that my wishes and comfort were a priority. She worked closely and communicated effectively with the nurses and midwife, and her support was especially crucial when the question of a C-section arose. She confidently advocated for my preferences and helped my voice be heard. When the decision was finally made for a C-section, her support never wavered. Both my husband and I felt reassured by her steady presence in the operating room. One of the most meaningful moments for me came right after the birth of my son, when my husband needed to be with him and all the doctors were busy. I cannot forget the comfort of her hands on my face while I was getting stitches. It was exactly what I needed to feel safe and cared for. After the labor, she continued to provide me with comprehensive support. She taught me how to sit and breastfeed correctly, guided me through every step, and frequently checked in to make sure I was doing well. I truly valued her knowledge and genuine care, and she went above and beyond, sharing an incredibly helpful list of tips for newborn care, postpartum recovery, and breastfeeding. Having Olena as our doula has been incredibly beneficial for both me and my husband. Her experience and unwavering support truly helped us through every step of this life-changing moment, and if my husband and I decide to have a second child, I know who I will choose as my doula.

Working with Aidyn was an amazing experience! From our very first meeting, she brought such a warm, calming presence that immediately made us feel supported and confident about our pregnancy and birth journey. Throughout pregnancy, she provided thoughtful guidance, evidence-based information, and emotional reassurance that truly helped us prepare in both body and mind. She always made sure to ask what we wanted to make sure to discuss or go over to ensure all our questions were answered. We ended up having a very short but eventful labor and delivery. Without Aidyn advocating for our needs and wishes and making sure we were comfortable and supported, we would have really struggled with how fast everything was moving and would have felt much more traumatic. Aidyn made sure we were comfortable, had everything we needed (and helped get it for us if we didn't have it). The physical and emotional support she provided during labor and delivery was vital and we are still so thankful that she was there with us. After birth, she continued to check in and offer postpartum support and was ready to help out in any way she could while I was dealing with the onset of postpartum depression and anxiety. She has been helping us navigate these first weeks with care and compassion and we can’t imagine having gone through this journey without her. If you’re looking for a doula who is knowledgeable, kind, and truly dedicated to helping families feel informed and empowered, I cannot recommend Aidyn highly enough! Truly one of the best decisions we made for our pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey.
