I am a DONA International–trained and Global Birth Community–trained Certified Birth Doula, a CCBE Certified Childbirth Educator, and Postpartum Doula. Birth is one of my greatest passions. I believe every woman should feel empowered, supported, and confident in how God beautifully designed her body to give birth. My heart is to walk alongside families with both encouragement and practical support—whether that’s during labor, postpartum recovery, or preparing for birth through education. My journey began in 2014, after watching the documentary, The Business of Being Born. I was shocked at how medical and sterile birth had become and how unfairly some pregnant people are treated. From there, I spent the next three years devouring anything and everything related to birth. I attended my first birth as a doula (unknowingly) in 2017 when my goddaughter was born, and I fell in love with doula work. I married my husband in late 2017, and in early 2019 I found out I was pregnant with my first child. My pregnancy was one of the most enjoyable times of my life. I gave birth vaginally in a hospital transfer from Atlanta Birth Center, to Atlanta Medical Center in November 2019. I have my birth team to thank for solidifying my passion for other people to have the experience I was blessed with. ​I believe information is our greatest tool. I will provide you with evidence-based information from a holistic standpoint. Outside of being a doula, I love to travel. I enjoy visiting new and familiar places with my family. I love cooking, reading, and listening to crime podcasts. I never turn down a taco or a glass of champagne.

I have over 20 years of public health experience working at the private, state and federal level. The importance of public health and living a healthy lifestyle has been my life since I was a young girl! My mother set the stage early in life by encouraging an overall holistic approach.
