I've been a birth professional for about 7 years now and I thoroughly enjoy it. I got started in this industry almost by default. I am the daughter of the middle daughter of 5 girls. All of those girls (my aunts) gave birth to girls. If you can see where I'm going, I have seen a lot of birth over the years. Naturally I gravitate towards birth and the perinatal period where I find myself bonding with new and to be new mothers in assisting them with being an extra set of hands so that it allows them to be more hands on and better bond with their baby.
